Jack became weak and he felt lonely than ever, he is feeling pain and sorrow all over again except it wasn't in the box, it was being tied up to a tree. Jack tried to get free but the chain would not budge, he curled up into a ball and thought about Jill and all of the fun times they had together but now she was inside with her mother and she wasn't able to go outside to see Jack at all. He needed those delicious sweets badly, he cannot live being tied up to a tree. The only time Jack saw Jill was when she was hanging up the washing but her mother was always there watching her to see if she goes anywhere near him.

One afternoon, her mother went out grocery shopping and this was Jills chance to finally go outside and see her loving and caring clown boyfriend, she went out the back door and ran to him in tears and hugged him tightly.

"I'm so sorry you have to be like this, I'm trying my best to get you out Jack, heres some candy" She feed Jack the candy as he smirks while feeling weaker and weaker, she kissed him on the forehead.

"W-wheres your mother J-Jill?" He asked as he stutters while feeling so weak he cannot speak properly, Jills eyes filled with tears as she wiped them away.

"She's gone grocery shopping so I quickly came out here to see you but I promise I will try to get you out LJ" She hugged him tightly before going back inside the house, a tear fell from Jacks eyes as he watches her walk back inside before her mother came home. Jack could hear arguing from inside as her mother came home, he hoped that Jill was trying to convince her mum that he is friendly and wouldn't harm her, later that day, Jill and her mum walked outside towards Laughing Jack, her mum kneeled down in front of him and calmly spoke.

"All the stuff my daughter told me...is that true?" she looked at him as Jack tried lifting his head up to look at her.

"Your daughter means everything to me, I protect her from all of the bullies and people that try to harm her, we have fun times together, I take her to carnivals an we have so much fun" he start to breath heavily as Jill starts to cry, her mother looks at her and back at Jack who feels really weak, she felt sorry for what she did, so she got up and unchained Jack. Jill wrapped her arms around him and cried.

"Mum please leave, go back home.. H-he needs to rest" Jill looks up at her mother and she goes inside and packs her stuff and leaves, Jill sat there with Jack feeding him lots of candy so he could get his strength back again, then they headed inside so he could rest.
