3rd POV

Soohyun walked out of the house only to see Taehyun talking with Soobin. The girl joined them and brightly smiled.

"Oh Soobin, how are you?"

She tried not to show how frustrated she was by the situation.

"I'm fine. What about you?" He had eye bags and looked like he didn't sleep all night.

His body was tensed like he wanted to flee any second.

"Same." She put the bag of Taehyun in her car and signalled him to get in.

"We need to go now, but let's talk later, oh no wait, we won't." She suddenly couldn't hold back her bad mood.

Taehyun looked confused at her and then at Soobin.

"Get in!" She barked.

Taehyun fastly got into her car. Soobin got smaller in her mirror and she finally could breathe out the breath she didn't know she was holding.

"What happened between you two?" Her little brother asked.

"Nothing for you to worry about." She pressed out.

Her brother just sighed, he wanted her to trust him, but he also had a hard time trusting her.

"When you moved out mom beat me up frequently until I couldn't move anymore, she told me everything is my fault." He suddenly said.

Soohyun looked at her brother's usually shining eyes. They were without any life and she suddenly saw how he suffered alone.

"I'm sorry for leaving you there."

"You don't need to be sorry, I know they treated you the same way. I was so envy of you that I didn't think of how much you suffered beforehand." He answered.

Taehyun deeply breathed in and tried not to cry. Soohyun already had streaming tears down her cheek.

"We will be family again, don't worry. We don't need our parents for that, okay?" She grabbed his hand.

Taehyun nodded and concentrated on the streets.

The rest of the drive was silent until they reached the house of Soohyun. Carrying his bags inside the house both of them just talked about random things.

They had do catch up with some things.

"So you really don't want to tell me what happened between you and Soobin?" Taehyun tried again when they sat down on the couch scrolling through social media on their phone.

"And you don't want to tell me where you go around at night?" She questioned back.

Taehyun just chuckled when he heard that.

"Well played sister. I will tell you if you tell me your story."

"Deal." Soohyun stuck out her tongue.

"Like you know, Soobin and I have to do a project for university. He went with me to Hoseok's club and got drunk pretty quickly. When I saw him with Hyejin I immediately took him with me outside."

The girl sighed.

"We made out and then he suddenly remembered Chungha. He told me that we should stop contact and yeah." Soohyun finished her story with a bitter undertone.

Taehyun's eyes widened.

"Maybe he isn't the one for you." He silently replied.

Soohyun rolled her eyes and told her brother that he should tell his story.

"I also got in contact with some of Hobi's friend, Jimin to be exactly. He got me some pills so I would be able to stay awake, since I sneaked out to party. That's why I asked you for some."

"I would tell you to stop, but I know how hard it is."
