This is inspired by the lovely stories written by xKittehh, SevenWritesStuff, and @0Pandu0! Unfortunately, I am unable to find Pandu's account or story since nothing comes up when trying to access their profile and/or story. D:

I honestly fell in love with the charm that this story had though. I am unsure what happened, and it is sad to say that you nor I could enjoy the comedy and creativity behind each chapter anymore.

But do check out the stories written by the other talented authors mentioned above! I can't gush about them enough because they are so well written and well worth the read that I probably couldn't fit it all in here. You won't regret reading one of the beautifully-written oneshots; promise. <3

"Okay, what's this all about?"

"I wanna record a video for my family since they wanted me to send a cute video of us together! Plus, Aphmau somewhat bribed me so that she could have "shipping material", or something along those lines." Nana replied to her husband, Zane.

It wasn't uncommon for her to want to catch them doing something cute, but this seemed off. He glanced at her suspiciously as she began setting up her phone to record them as they sat on the couch together. The Mei'fwa turned on the camera and adjusted the view so it was just right.

"So, Zane..." She began. "I have a very special surprise for you that I think you'll love."

"Oh really?"

"Yup! Now, close your eyes while I go and get the surprise."

Zane reluctantly closed his eyes out of curiosity, hearing her giggle as she moved around the room. Nana winked in the camera's direction before leaving the living room and coming back with a small white box that was tied up with a matching bow.

"Alright, open your eyes!" She beamed at him as he cautiously took the rectangular box that was handed to him. He pulled off the ribbon and removed the lid only to be met with a slightly excessive amount of white tissue paper.

Zane gave her a weird, skeptical look and noticed that her smile only grew wider and brighter. "Remove the paper inside." She spoke giddily.

He did as she said and froze.

Inside was a positive pregnancy test along with a little slip of paper that had "I'm pregnant!" written across it. Nana giggled, her hands cupped together as she watched her husband's face as the initial shock turned into overwhelming joy.

"How long have you known?" Was the first thing that left his mouth.

"A month or so~." She sang.

"What!?"

"No, no, I've known for a few days now! I was trying to find a way to tell you ever since I found out." Nana spoke, holding one of his hands in her own.

Zane's emotional side began to show once he wiped the happy tears that started to fall. He pulled her into a tight hug shortly after, rocking the both of them back and forth slowly as he struggled to keep his calm and collective composer.

"Are you sure you're not messing with me?"

"No, I'm not!" She laughed. "I wouldn't joke about something like this; you know that Zane."

After a few moments of silence, he whispered 'I love you' in her ear as his grip became tighter. She smiled and nuzzled into the crook of his neck subsequently.

"I love you too." She murmured in reply. Zane kissed her on the cheek before gently placing his hands onto her stomach. She laughed and made their foreheads touch, entwining her hands in his own lovingly.

"I took more than one to make sure, but I only put one in the box. I was so happy because I know we've been trying for a while now." Nana told him. "We're going to be a family, Zane."

"I know, and I couldn't be happier to have it with you." He replied, their lips meeting subsequently. 

Nana gave a smile that he happily returned before she reached over to stop the recording, Zane pretty much having forgotten all about it until then.

"Are you going to show it to other people?" He asked.

"No, at least, not to just anyone. You're the first person I've told so far and I want to save this-" She waved her phone about. "-for certain people."

"You know Garroth will ask if he finds out about that video, right?"

"Yeah.." She replied. "But Aphmau is most likely going to ask the same thing too."

Both of them laughed before going back to holding one another, the couple just enjoying the other's company and excited for what lied ahead in their future together.
