[CHAPTER 3/FLASHBACK]

Flashback
It was my first day at a new high school we had moved to a new area after my family had found out my dad had cancer it was closer to his treatment facility I wasn't happy about moving to a new area and neither was my brother hater but my dad came first, my aunt had moved in with us so that we would be put down on a system as I couldn't cope with us because my mother lived in Bali with her new husband and my half-sisters. She had run away with her gym trainer which crushed my dad and after that he wasn't the same emotionally but I knew he held it together for us.

As I was getting dressed for school I heard my aunt and dad in the kitchen I know this sounds rather selfish but before I had thought about my actions last night I had decided to do a rather large fashion change which would shock the both of them as I left to go to school so I decided to go and borrow a hoodie of Jared as I knocked on his door and began to open it he shouted trying to quickly throw on a t-shirt "Hope for god sake" he said as he looked at me annoyed "what do you want" he said as he began to get his things ready for school. "Can I borrow a hoodie" I said which made him look at my hair "he's gonna find out sooner or later" he said as he began to laugh at my hair.

"I know but not today he has his check-up and I don't stress him out any more than he already is pleased," I said as I began to pull a begging face at him "fine," he said as he opened his wardrobe and pulled a hoodie and threw it at me "now go away," he said and as I began to head out I turned round to my brother once again before speaking "Thanks" I said which made him throw a pillow at the door closing it close quicker nearly trapping me but I didn't care. After getting ready me and my brother met at the top of to stairs we didn't say anything to each other as we walked down the stairs until we reached the bottom and headed to the kitchen we had to go through the kitchen to get out of the house. "Morning campers," My aunt said as she saw us "Morning aunt Angela," I said as I looked at her and then my dad smiled at me as he was drinking his morning coffee.

"excited for your first day," she said as he continues to make our lunches "not really," I said which made my brother punch me in the arm which made me turn to face him angrily "what was that for," I said "ayy no fighting," she said as I glared at Jared but he just looked over to our dad which was the answer to the question. Once my aunt had done with the lunches she passed them to us and we began o head out of the door "see you later guys" I heard dad say which made me smile at him before heading out of the door. As we began to walk down the path to the bus Jared looked at me annoyed "why did you say that" he said referring to what I had said in the kitchen "you know dad would feel terrible if we were upset about moving" he said which made me think deeper about what I had just said. "we told him we were ok about it and we are" he said as he glared at me once we reached the bus stop and we saw it heading our way Jared look at me and began to speak again.

"no sitting near me and no coming to find me at school unless it's something to do with dad you are in a fight got it," he said as the bus stopped in front of us. "got it," he says getting a little angrier than I hadn't replied the first time. "yes" I said as the bus doors began to open. "ok get on," he said holding back as I got onto the bus. Jared went to the middle of us the bus ignoring me the whole journey but I knew he didn't want his little sister embarrassing him plus I needed to find someone new friends especially if I wanted to make the new 2 years of high school bearable.

As the bus stopped and everyone got off including me and Jared before heading to the reception to get everything I would need I decided to have a look around the school to get my bearings so that I wouldn't get lost and be late to class but as I did so I ended knocking into someone "I'm so sorry" I said as I pulled back and saw that I had knocked into a blonde and pretty girl she was with a group "you better be" she said she looked at my hair and began to laugh "oh my god look at your hair" she continued to laugh and her friends got involved "I'm sorry" I said as she began to walk off "watch your back freak" she said as she bashed into my shoulder before heading off with her friends.

I knew that this group of girls was the mean girls the most popular group of girls in the school but yet the bullies every school had then and now I had messed up my chances of getting through high school easily for the rest of the day I caught them glaring at me except one she tried to not look and me and change the subject when I heard the girls talking about me but I was confused why she did this.
