Neapolitan Fudge with Oreo Crust
The three layers of cookie and fudge make this Neapolitan Fudge a knockout treat when it comes to dessert! This Neapolitan Fudge will stand out on all the dessert tables.
~Ingredients:
-Oreo Crust:
48 Oreo Cookies, crushed.
12 Tablespoons Butter, melted.
-Vanilla Fudge:
1 1/2 Cups White Chocolate Chips.
1 Tablespoon Butter.
1/2 Cup + 2 Tablespoons Sweetened Condensed Milk.
3/4 Cup Marshmallow Cream.
-Strawberry Fudge:
1 1/2 Cups White Chocolate Chips.
1 Tablespoon Butter.
1/2 Cup + 2 Tablespoons Sweetened Condensed Milk.
3/4 Cup Marshmallow Cream.
1 Packet Strawberry Shortcake Frosting Creation.*
~Directions:
Step 1: Line a 9 inch by 13 inch pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper and lightly spray with nonstick spray. Leave enough aluminum foil overhanging on the sides to lift the fudge out of the pan. Set aside.
Making the Oreo Crust:
Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine the oreo cookie crumbs and the melted butter.
Step 3: Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
Vanilla Layer:
Step 4: In a saucepan combine the white chocolate chips, butter, and sweetened condensed milk.
Step 5: Stir over medium low heat until the mixture is melted and creamy.
Step 6: Stir in the marshmallow cream.
Step 7: Pour over the oreo crust in the prepared pan.
Step 8: Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Strawberry Layer:
Step 9: In another saucepan combine the white chocolate chips, butter, and sweetened condensed milk for the strawberry layer.
Step 10: Stir over medium low heat until melted and creamy.
Step 11: Stir in the Strawberry Shortcake packet and the marshmallow cream.
Step 12: Gently pour over the vanilla layer.
Step 13: Refrigerate 4 hours or until completely set.
Step 14: Cut into 72 small squares.
Step 15: Store at room temperature in a loosely covered container.
~Recipe Notes:
*You can also use 3 - 4 Tablespoons strawberry Jello powder or you can use 1 1/2 teaspoons strawberry extract with some pink gel color in place of the frosting packets.
