Candy Cane Marshmallow Fudge

This is the kind of fudge that gets you in trouble, because you CAN NOT stop eating it. It is so rich and creamy and melts in your mouth. It has the perfect amount of candy canes, just enough to give a light peppermint flavor. They soften up and have just a slight crunch.

~Ingredients:

1 (11.5 oz) bag Chocolate Chips.

1 (14 oz) Can Sweetened Condensed Milk.

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract.

3 Cups Mini Marshmallows.

1/2 Cup Candy Canes.*

~Directions:

Step 1Line a 9 x 13 inch dish with parchment paper and spray lightly with cooking spray.

Step 2: Combine the chocolate chips and the sweetened condensed milk in a large microwave safe dish. 

Step 3 Microwave until the chocolate chips are melted, stirring every 30 seconds. 

Step 4: When completely melted, stir in the vanilla extract. 

Step 5Add in the marshmallows and the crushed candy canes and stir together until well combined. 

Step 6: Spread evenly into the prepared baking dish. 

Step 7Refrigerate until set. 

Step 8Lift from the pan and cut into squares and serve. 

Step 9Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Step 10: Eat and Enjoy!

~Recipe Notes:

*We used about 6 - 7 candy canes.

1)To crush the candy canes: Unwrap the candy canes, break into a few large pieces and place in a large ziploc bag. Place bag over a folded kitchen towel. Pound candy canes with a rolling pin until they reach the desired size.
