Feb #2 A Frosty Christmas

Heyyy candies,
My second review is on A Frosty Christmas by CroodsGirl
Like woahhh I honestly felt connected with this book...
I love Christmas 😂 many people would say I'm too old, but I honestly don't care...
Cause it's one of the only times I get to eat candy without a care in the world.

I'm going to review this book under the following headings.

Character development:
Honestly, I love the development of each character. I love the fact that you explained the role of each character before entering the main story. As a reader, it totally made huge sense to me, and I even got to know more Christmas characters and their roles. I love your sense of imagination, it's really nice. I'm giving it a 5/5

Overall plot:
I must admit that I'm really hooked by the overall plot. I couldn't stop reading, and everything followed chronologically.
You made sure your readers understand what's going on, and they're not left behind.
I enjoyed the book overall.
But there's this minor problem. I noticed that you made use of commas more often, and sometimes they didn't really fit in a sentence.
Most times, I'm just hooked but then the commas just come along and confuse me. But I love the fact that you used punctuations, many writers forget to use that sometimes.
But apart from that, the overall plot is fantastic and I can't for your next update. I'm giving it a 7.5/10

Errors:
To save time, I'm just going to be pointing out the minor errors and the corrections in bold.
The replacement I suggest is in bold and brackets.
Please also take note of the punctuations I make.

Character list:
Holloway-
Aside from being the head elf, Holloway is also the Reindeer Wrangler in Yuletide Village.

When one of Santa's reindeers are incapable of flying, maybe from injury or sickness, he will go out and fetch a new one to replace the original Reindeer until it can fly again.

August Melody Carter-

She's one of the few bold children who believes in Jack Frost.

She is an adorable little girl who has a strong heart, meaning that she is very kind (punctuation)

Prologue-
"Whoo-hoo!" Jack Frost's dark blue cape whipped behind him, as he slid his pale bare feet across the frozen lake (punctuation).

The Artic Circle had never (space between 'had' and 'never')

Chapter 2-Yuletide village

The three troublesome elves soon reached the head elf's house(no comma needed)

They together peered up the steps to the decorated wooden deck, and focused on the front door. (Punctuation)

Anastasia and Quincy mimicked him. They climbed on top of one another, also reaching the crates. They too dove behind the crates and joined Cornelius...(no comma needed in the second sentence).

Holloway struggled to his feet. He touched his nose and flinched when he felt the sting (not stinging, either you use sting or stinging sensation).

Chapter 3-

She was a cute messy thing who had messy brown hair like her brother, and cyan blue eyes.(punctuation).

Benna wore a short red dress, that had three cotton ball buttons running down the middle; candy cane,...and a red Santa Claus hat.
(When listing everything you have a comma before ending with a red Santa Claus hat
No punctuation here. It just flows according to the order of adjectives...it's just supposed to flow
E.g
A big square black leather bag...
Note there's no punctuation obstructing the flow). I hope you understand ☺️ because that's the cavity I noticed more in your book.

"You're right, Jack Frost is as real as he'll always be. He wants you to go sleep now though, my little pumpkin". (Punctuation)

"Yes, you can" Brenna encouraged "you're Holloway, Yuletide's Head elf" (punctuation)

Chapter 4
Prancer, a tall muscular reindeer, who had four black socks kicked up hay and dirt.(punctuation)

General review
I was honestly hooked while reading this book, and I recommend it. You can read it anytime not only during the Christmas season, and it's completely amazing. I absolutely recommend it to anyone.
Overall rating: 7.5/10

XOXO,
Candy lover 😋🍭✨.
