Feb#11 Throne of Dragonix

Heyy Candies,
How are y'all doing?
I know the world is somehow nowadays, but always know that I want y'all to remain safe and in good health...I sincerely wish you guys the best.
My next review is going to be on "Throne of Dragonix" by Baqkns
Honestly, to say a few I love this book and totally everything about it...Baqkns you're a genius... absolutely a genius!
I'm going to be reviewing it under the following headings

Plot development:
The plot of this book is absolutely outstanding, I mean your imagination is beautiful on a totally exaggerated level.
Like I honestly felt myself in another world while reading this book...this is my first time reading a book about dragons...
I absolutely commend your use of imagery...
Your choice of words gave me the right feel of your book, you made use of words that aroused my tactile, olfactory, gustatory and visual senses.
The plot was just alright, it wasn't fast or slow paced. It just moved at an accurate speed.
I love the characters you used to portray every personality and I also commend your "Dragonix glossary" at the end.
When I initially started reading, I got confused but then again I went to the glossary and all my doubts were clarified.
Your plot somehow reminded me of Dragon ball...I watched that show as a kid and absolutely loved it.

Well all I can say is that, I love the way the plot goes. Though I only read the first 12 chapters cause of time, I'm still super pumped to read the rest. This book absolutely had me on a tension seat with adrenaline coursing through my veins. It's a 9/10

Character development:
The characters are just as outstanding as you are. There wasn't a miscast, and the personalities matched their descriptions.

I think my favorite character is Bloom, I absolutely love characters with demeanors similar to hers. And the fact that you made that stoic character have a weakness (paranoia), is absolutely outstanding. Her character teaches readers a lot...they should use their weakness and situation to their advantage, turning it to their greatest strengths.
I'm honestly shipping Ignai and Lian, though Ignai might be younger than she.
I'm also shipping for Bloom and Night, although she's older than he. But hey!!! That doesn't stop them from having fun

I love the other characters also, Mrs Moon, the Great Aide and the rest...
Your work is wonderful
I'm giving it a 9/10

Book cover:
The book cover says a lot about the book.
It's eye catching and fits the book perfectly...like with the dragon and the throne
You need to show me your cover artist...
It's a 8/10

Grammatical erorrs:
Like I said earlier, I read only the first 12 chapters of this book.
Your work is good and you're good with your punctuations, there were some chapters that I didn't even notice a single error.
My editing eyes didn't notice or see errors in some chapters, and I can assure you that if you keep this up, you're going to go higher than you imagine.
But then again, there's always room for improvements, cause that's what makes us better writers.
I did notice minor errors...and they're so silly that you're going to laugh over it when you see what I'm talking about.
The corrections to errors are in bold and additional explanation given in brackets.
If you don't understand anything, please draw my attention to it and I would be more than happy to clarify your doubts.
Here it goes.

Prologue:

It was the spirit of the throne, which was the spirit of unity of the universe
(There's meant to be a comma after "throne" and "it" is meant to be used instead of "He" because according to the story, Throne is a spirit and so has no gender. It would be wrong to use "He")

It was called Throne.

I rule over the emperor, and also set the bar of work to be done by him.
(There's meant to be a comma after "emperor" and you misspelled "and"...the typo was "amd")

Chapter 1 : A Failing Bond

The next moment, he grumbled, turned his face away and slouched on the couch, letting his leg dangle carelessly (punctuation and this fits better)

Her straight silvery hair cascaded down her shoulders and a white pearly sleeveless gown hugged her figure
(take note of the order of adjectives "white" which is a colour goes before "pearly" which is material then "sleeveless gown")

Even though both him and her knew the day of his death (not "new")

It is known and confirmed that you're next in line for kingship, but you'll have to give up the candidacy to Throne.
(It's meant to be a comma not full stop)

Would he have revealed something to him, or have his words crossed through their young one's heart (there's meant to be a comma)

He snapped his fingers and the fires extinguished, leaving an aftertaste of burning charcoal
(There's a comma)

A few moments later he opened his eyes, and moved to a rather desolate wall, before standing firmly in front.
(This fits better....Also take note of punctuations)

He yanked further till a woman fell at his feet

Mrs Moon lowered her gaze. She too said nothing. (There's no need for the commas)

He lacked a powerful ambition, because he was rather too kind for a ruler

A dragon usually embraced Parenthood in its mid thousands ("its" not "his")

So she was called unrecorded, whose antics were never recognised in history, because those questions had the power to destroy the existence of their current administrative system (you omitted "she" and also take note of my punctuations i.e commas)

Chapter 2: Absurd solution

After a very heated childish bickering, Timberella's Queen, Evelyn, intermediated
(I guess it's meant to be "Timberella's")

But surprisingly, the great aide wasn't shocked or disappointed (you mistakenly put a double comma there...just one)

"Ambitious indeed" (there's no need for the comma)

The locals, shopkeepers and customers thanked her, and she politely took her leave (not "she politely took her to leave" and please note the punctuation)

The sun was overhead now, and the walls and glasses of the big windows reflected so much light that the path ahead seemed decorated with pearls and crystals
(please take note of my punctuation...this fits better)

Those books make me dizzy, I don't like the instructor either. (There's meant to be a comma after "dizzy")

Some official papers rested in his hands, which he had been examining again and again from time to time (there's meant to be a comma after "hands")

I don't know, the future sure is unpredictable (punctuation)

Chapter 3: Revelation

As adults, who had precious time to waste on fables and tales? (Punctuation)

She cleared a path for herself by swiftly cutting the small bushes with small spirals of wind conjured barehanded, and sliced the vines with sharp wind blades... (there's meant to be a comma and take note of the bolded words)

I am not allowed to jump up to his face, nor can I fly up to that. ("Can I" not "I can" given the situation)

And not allowing a single blood of his to be shed means, I can't attack him hard physically except his canine (take note of the bold words...and it's "shed" not "shredded" and also it's "his" not "him")

The wind was sharp as blades, and a single touch could shred her to dust
("Shred" not "shrewd")

Bloom knew Ryuoketusai was going to defend himself from the attack, but... ("Himself" not "him" and there's meant to be a comma after "attack")

Chapter 4: Proposal

Probably only seven years younger than she (this is grammatically correct)

He is my only friend in whom I can confide

They knew the first reason, but the other that Bloom stated was known to none. (This fits better)

Chapter 5: I was summoned

Her expression didn't even change once during the whole meeting, as if she had anticipated all his questions beforehand (punctuation)

By what Bloom told him, there might be...(punctuation i.e the comma after "him" )

And yet on the other hand, SOLDIER headquarters was at a secret base whose location was not know to the employees let alone others (take note of the punctuation and "was")

Her turn was about to come after two and a half hours (not "two hours and a half hours")

But now, whatever she saw was energy moving in a pitch black screen setting (take note of the punctuation and there's no need for an "it" before "was")

Paranoia-a constant thought process that instills fear and threats in the mind of its host ("it's" not "their" and "instills" fits better than "would instill")

Chapter 6: Intrusion

They entered the mansion from a  hidden passage around the back wall (there's no need for "the mansion" after wall)

Chapter 7: Important tactics and Tactics

And when I tell them about a rebellion inside a rebellion, who do you think they would be interested in?

The book had the same cover and design as the one found in Lian's home (this fits better)

A reckless, undefined and untimely rebellion
(It's "untimely" not "untimed")

He could storm inside his mansion and kill him this instance, but why not? ("This instance" not "in this instance" and there's meant to be a comma)

Chapter 8: Shadow?

The cries for help had ceased long ago (not "creased")

The duo were one of the few contestants who were shortlisted for the Throne candidate ship ("were" not "was")

I know my brother is the best

And I know my sister is the best (you omitted "is")

Chapter 11: Cuts or Rips

The person at fault is him (not "in")

I told him some of my secrets and he told me his but we both hid our true identities

General Review:
The book and it's concept is outstanding, you're a brilliant writer with a wild imagination.
I absolutely recommend this book to lovers of Fantasy,  paranormal and supernatural genres. It's lovely and very sweet it could give you a toothache (in a good way)
Overall rating 9/10
