"Wake....UP!" A loud voice rang through my ears. I was just simply sleeping when someone so rudely interrupted my slumber.

"Tsukasa wa-" but it was too late. The effort that Amane took to stop his brother was for naught. Tsukasa pounced on me while I was taking my time to open my eyes.

"Oof!" I couldn't help but let out. The weight of a whole boy was on me. Tsukasa propped his head upon my back and grabbed my sides.

"I'll do it. You know I will." He threatened. This was normal behavior for the playful boy. I was happy that Amane had at least some sense of personal space.

"Murder," I said before I rolled us off of the bed. Tsukasa landed with his back to the carpet and my back pressed against his chest.

Amane helped me up from laying on his brother and glared at him. "Can't you wake her up like a normal person?" He spat. He hugged my body close to his own in a protective manner. I yawned into his shoulder but he didn't seem to care.

"That was normal." Tsukasa shrugged. I rubbed the sleepiness from my eyes, but unfortunately, it did no good with my appearance. I was in a large dress like shirt and my hair was going every which way. "Woah. Rough night?" Tsukasa questioned. He wiggled his eyebrows referring to something not....appropriate. I left Amane's grasp and pushed Tsukasa slightly after I grabbed the clothes I chose for today's festivities. Then, I slammed my bathroom door behind me.

"Shut up!" I yelled flusteredly. I swiftly began to change. Aoi and Nene decided that the moon earrings would be better for this occasion. Since Amane is so persistent to go there. The twins stared at the bathroom door before looking at each other.

"I guess she's not a morning person," Tsukasa commented. Amane laughed at his brother before crossing his arms.

"Maybe it was how you woke her up." Amane and his brother walked out of the room to snack on some donuts that my mother made. Why did she even let them up here?

I groaned into my mirror and put some light makeup on. Nothing too special. I was going to move around a lot today so I didn't want to look too different when it would come off. "It's too early for this. It's five-thirty in the morning! Curse school rules..." I grumbled.

I stepped out of the bathroom and headed downstairs. I reached instinctively for the cup of coffee on the counter and took a sip. Extra sweet. Just how I like it. Ever since I was 13, my mother had already made me cups of coffee so that I wouldn't be cranky in the mornings. Luckily, today was no exception.

I sat down on the couch in the storefront. The twins were sitting on the floor chatting up a storm about what we were going to do today. I rested my head on the cool glass and took another sip from the cup of coffee.

"I heard the second-year classes are doing haunted houses. We should stop by there." Tsukasa pointed his sugar-coated finger at the piece of paper that lay between the two.

"There's a bunch of food stalls in the school courtyard so we will probably go there for lunch." Amane nodded in agreement with his own words.

"Yeah, good idea. Afterward, we can hit the play the jr. division is holding." Tsukasa nodded along with his brother and they grinned at each other.

"Then, we take a break." I interrupt the two in their own world.

"Yes, yes." Tsukasa turned his head towards me and tossed me a donut. Amane peeked at me on the couch but immediately turned his head away.

I was too tired to think anything of it. Tsukasa smirked smugly at his brother before standing up. "We should get going. We have to set up the karaoke." He said.

"We're going out mom! Won't be back until late. Love you!" I yelled at her as we exited. I waited for a reply but got none. I couldn't help but lower my head. I can't even imagine what she feels like right now. I followed behind the two boys who continued to plan out the day.

When we got to school, children were gathered all around the school grounds. Setting up their activities. We spotted Aoi walking inside of the school and I ran up to her. "You have the mics right? You didn't forget them?" I asked her. She brought them home with her after she left yesterday because she was more prone to remember things.

"Yes, I have them." Her hands raise up to reveal a brown paper bag holding the highly decorated microphones. "Though, I'm no expert on setting chords up." Her hand scratched the back of her head shyly.

"That shouldn't be a problem. I've got it." Akane joined our conversation and smiled at the two of us. He took the bag away from her hands and we headed to class. Before we completely entered the building, I noticed Amane was talking to Nene. A blush clear on his face.

"Oh," I said. It slipped out accidentally. Aoi quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me away. I shook my head away from any thoughts that could ruin this day. "Stop being selfish (Y/n)..." I mumbled. "Today is about being with friends. No more than that."

Aoi looked back to her friend in concern. Nene should have hidden their conversation better. They were planning something special for today's events. Their friend had a hard time recently and they wanted to do something about it.

"(Y/n) look. There's the boy you ran into a couple of days ago" Aoi said, in hope to distract the girl of any thoughts.

"Who?" I asked, looking around. The familiar yellow hair could be seen from a mile away. "Oh, Kou....wait. How did you know about that?" I asked Aoi.

"I was around when you guys were talking, I just didn't do anything." She shrugged.

Kou noticed me and waved aggressively. "Hi (L/n)!" He jogged you to me with an apparent gleam in his eye. "Will you and your friends come to see our play? We worked really hard on it!" He asked excitedly.

I smiled softly at the boy and took a hold of his hand. "Of course! We had that planned anyway." Kou stepped back a bit from the shock that a pretty girl was holding his hand. He blushed and coughed.

"Uh...yeah! It's gonna be great." He beamed nervously. Out of nowhere, a third hand held ours. Kou jumped at the second form of contact and I just simply turned my head.

Bright, beautiful, capturing eyes met mine. Kou jumped back with a shriek and back away to the wall. "What were you doing?" Amane asked us. My face flushed and I looked away from the boys stare. I didn't want him to see the effect he had on me.

"He was inviting us to the play," I said shyly. Amane's grip on my hand tightened.

His smile looked fake as he looked over to his yellow-haired friend. "We were already going to go. Now if you'll excuse us, we have to set up our own event." Amane practically sneered. Everyone else but myself noticed his change in attitude towards the poor jr.

Amane started to walk with my hand still in his. I didn't mind at all so I skipped to catch up with him. "Don't forget about the hot springs today! We go right after the festival. Then we get to see the fireworks! How cool is that?" I gushed.

"(Y/n). What happened with Kou?" Amane asked. He completely dismissed my comment.

"I told you already didn't I?" I smiled and gripped his hand harder. "Amane, are you alright?" I asked him. Something was bothering him, I could tell. But I was too naïve to know what.

Amane smiled softly at me. "Oh, nothing. I just forgot what you said." He bumped Into my shoulder slightly and I giggled. We turned into our classroom and people were already setting up the chairs and tables. Amane pulled away from me and the warmth left my hand. "Don't forget to meet us at the front of the school." He grinned. Before walking away to help other students.

I stood and stared at him as he walked away. I looked at my hand and smiled warmly at it. I want him to hold my hand again. It was nice. Then, I smack myself with both of them. "Time to work! I said, dedicated to my assigned job.
