I snort right in James's face. "Y-you're joking, right?"

He stutters. "Um, no. I like you, you like me, we have a connection."

"You're fucking kidding me, right?" I burst out in laughter. "We have absolutely no connection, boy!"

His face falls. "I thought...that kiss..."

"Brother, that kiss was just to piss Jovina off!" I spit at the ground before him and turn around to leave. "I hope I never see your ugly face again! Especially after only going after Bella 'cause she's hot."

I saunter into the park, where I saw Jovina and Amelia run off to. My feet stumble across the little knots in the ground, and the sun blinds me for a second when I make the mistake of glancing up to watch the birds. 

When my vision recovers, I pause. There, right in front of me, sit Jovina and Amelia, their lips only inches away from each other. There's a longing look in their eyes, so I back up, giving them space. 

"Lydia!" cries out Bella's voice. I swivel around an fall into her arms. 

"You'll never guess what just happened!" I laugh. "I rejected James. He's such an idiot."

"You've got that right," she chuckles, then searches the area, covering her eyes from the sun. "Where is Jovina? I wanna talk to her."

"Shhhhh," I hold a hand to her mouth, then nod my head in the direction of the love-birds. 

Their lips have finally met, and it looks like they're enjoying themselves. 

"Aww, that's cute," giggles Bella. "Looks like Amelia's found true love, Jovina's found her true self, and me and you have got all our problems solved."

"Eh, not all of them," I admit, blushing. "We still got no men."

"Fuck men," she says joyfully, hooking her arm through mine. "We already have a happy ending, let's not get it all jumbled up."

We walk away, just like at the end of a cheesy love story. 

Well, this isn't the end. At least not for now. Because we all still got a whole lot of messy stuff ahead of us. And so do you. But in the end, we'll all make it out alive, 'cause there are plenty other people that, in the end, will be there for you.
