Five months.

It's been five months since Lincoln and Lana had went up the beanstalk to the magical cloud world were the terrible giant Luna lived. Where the two had tried to be friends with Luna but sadly, Luna tried to kill them when she saw Lana taking some gold from the giant's stash. After being chased around a while, they tried to get the door key back from her but this backfired on them and caused Luna to attack and eat off Lincoln's lower legs.

Lincoln told her to escape but Lana just wouldn't let herself go without her only brother. So, Lana surrendered herself to Luna and getting themselves captured. But Luna didn't kill them but instead put them in this cage and kept them as pets. A depressing fate indeed but maybe all would change very soon..

Lana was currently looking out one of the openings onto the vast barren room they were in with a depressed look on her face.

Lana: *sigh.. This sucks, Lincoln..

Lincoln: I know Lana. But we'll need to pull through if we want a chance to escape. Eventually, Luna will let us go. At least I hope she does anyway.

The little girl sighed and continued to look around the room to see if there was anything that would be interesting but once again, it was just dust and few giant bugs that Lana wished she could have as pets. A few flies, a large spider that gave Lincoln the creeps, and a long centipede that amazed Lana to no end.

Lana: Why can't Luna at least put some toys or something cool to play with? All we have are dumb books and a broken yo-yo..

Lincoln: hey! The books aren't boring! And you were the one who broke the yo-yo after you tried to do that "Special Trick" and snapped the string.

Lana huffed and went back to looking hopelessly out of the cage which cased Lincoln to sigh and get up, walking over to Lana and giving her a brotherly hug. 

Lincoln: Hey, keep your hopes up little sis.. We may not have much of a chance of escaping but.. At least we have each other to keep our spirits up. Also if it helps, I have a good feeling we might be leaving pretty soon.

Lana: You... You do? How so?

Lincoln smirked and walked over and picked up the broken Yo-Yo and the other part of the string and tied it back together by tying a knot. Next, he walked over to the pile of hay that he slept on as a bed (Lana uses a pile of giant cotton Luna gave her) and pulled out a small wooden dagger that he had carved out.

Lincoln: The dingy butterknife Luna left me with wouldn't work with my plan. Thankfully, after I was done carving out my new legs (he points to his lower legs that had been replaced with wooden prosthetics), the knife was still durable enough for me to carve this out! 

Lana: Wait so.. What is your plan? Show Luna your cool tricks and hope she'll be so impressed that Luna will let us leave willy-nilly? I don't really think that will.. well.. work.

Lincoln gave a sneaky smirk as the door suddenly opened to reveal Luna carrying a small of plate of food for them. Guess it was lunch time already which was usually Lana's favorite time of the day. Even though Luna kept them in a cage, the two agreed she was amazing at cooking stuff and oddly didn't just give them scraps. Maybe Luna wanted to treat them like actual pets instead of prisoners.

Luna: Heeeyyyy little dudes! Guess what time it is?

Lana: Lunch time! Oh what did you make this time? Do I smell ham?

Luna: Yep! Fresh cooked ham! I even got you two some utensils to eat with since... Well, they're giant slices of ham.

Luna placed the big plate of ham inside the cage as well as giving the two Louds forks and knives to cut with. They said thank you and started digging into the giant piece of tasty meat. They quickly ate, with Lincoln eating the least and of course Lana eating the most due to her no self control.

Lana: *Burp!!! Ahh... That really hit the spot..

Luna:  I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll need that plate back.

Luna reached in and grabbed the giant plate and turned around, starting to walk away. But what she forgot to do was close the cages door, leaving the two Louds open to escape if only it wasn't for the long drop. But due to quick thinking, Lincoln dashed to the opening while grabbing Lana and jumping out of the cage. As he jumped, he took out the yo-yo he repaired and threw it at Luna's pants and hooking onto her belt and making them swing down onto the ground safely.

Though, Lincoln didn't take into account that the rope on the Yo-Yo wasn't a normal rope but instead a flimsy yo-yo string, causing it to snap once the two swung far enough and dropped them to the ground high enough not to hurt them a lot.

Lana: OOF!!! Ow...

Lincoln: Lana run! Quickly! To the hole in the wall over there!

The two quickly made a mad dash to the mouse hole in one of the walls, unlucky for them, Luna noticed them and started running at them to get them back in the cage. Thankfully, they made it into the wall just before Luna could grab them and going off into a direction inside the walls to find a safe spot.

Luna: Damnit!! Damn you two! I did so much for you! I fed you, let you live in a cage, and I even let you live in general! And you pay me back by escaping! Grah!! When I find you, I won't hesitate to kill you!

I kinda lost interest in writing this story after the last chapter hence I purposely left it on a cliffhanger for the reader to think on what happened to the Lincoln and Lana.
