Lincoln: Locked in?! As if this day couldn't get any worse...

Lana stayed silent, afraid things actually could get even worse if she opened her mouth. If that was even possible given the current circumstances.

Lana: M-maybe.. We could go out of a window?

Lincoln: Maybe.. But we could break our legs due to how everything is fitted for a giant.

The little girl gulped and hugged her big brother in fear. Lincoln sighed and hugged back to try and comfort her at least.

Lincoln got to thinking. How could they leave? Luna obviously has the key somewhere but going back to the angry giant would be suicide!

Unless...

They could go back and steal the key from Luna while she's still passed out! It is risky but it could also work if they plan this just right.

Lincoln: *sigh.. Alright Lana. I have a plan. A stupid one but at least it's a plan of some kind.

Lana: W-well.. what is it Lincoln? I'm up to do anything if it means we go home..

Lincoln: Well alright. But remember, this will be dangerous do I need you to be as careful and cooperative as you can be. Alright?

Lana: You have my word, big bro!

Lana gives a salute with a cute smile. Lincoln chuckles and hugs Lana.

Lincoln: Alright. First, you need to follow me.

Lana: Aww.. You can't carry me?

Lincoln:.normally I would but the food Luna gave has done a... Number on you.

Lincoln is currently seen trying to carry the much rounder Lana with obvious difficulty while Lana was just relaxing to no end.

Lana: C'mon Lincoln! Pick up the pace! We'll be there in no time!

Lincoln: uuuggghh....

Lincoln falls flat on his face, his arms giving out.

- Back with Lincoln and Lana -

Lincoln shuddered and continued walking away, causing Lana to sigh in defeat and follow her brother.

Lana: So.. What are we going to do, Man with a plan?

Lincoln: I don't fully know. But I have a basic idea on what we should do. But you'll need to pay attention very carefully alright?

Lana: Yes, I get it. Now can you please Just tell me what the plan is?

Lincoln: Not yet. We need to get where Luna is.

Lana: ok..

Lincoln and Lana rushed back to the giant dining room as fast as they could in hope they could arrive before Luna could wake up.

Lincoln and Lana finally arrived to the dining room. Luckily, Luna was still passed out but it was evident that should could wake up at any second.

The two siblings hid behind a giant chair leg and planned.

Lana: Alright big bro! What's the plan?

Lincoln: Alright. Now listen closely. First, we need some string or anything like a rope.

Lana: A rope? Oh! I'll be right back!

Before Lincoln could intervene, Lana dashed as quickly as possible. He sighed and just sat down and just waited for Lana to come back.

- 15 Minutes Later -

Lincoln had fallen asleep a few minutes earlier due to boredom. Where on earth was Lana? Did she get lost?

Lana: Lincoln!

Lincoln: Gah! Sssshhhh!!!!! You don't want to wake Luna up..

Lana: Yeah But I got you something!

Lana showed off a long ten foot gold necklace that Lana had cut, leaving it a long gold string.

Lincoln: Wait.. This is what you have?

Lana: Yeah! It'll work right? I even found some scissors to cut the string the key in connected to!

Lincoln: *sigh. I guess, but the reason I needed a normal string is so I could have something light to hold on so I don't lose my grip.

Lana: So.. Things are even harder?

Lincoln: Indeed.

Lana: Aaaww.. As if things couldn't get even harder.. Well, just hold on tight ok?

Lincoln nodded and lead Lana up a chair and on a table. They looked down and saw the sleeping giant and the key wrapped around her neck.

Lincoln: Bingo! Now hold on tight Lana.

Lana: I'll try my best.. Now tie it around me!

Lincoln: Uuhh.. Lana? You can't make knots with gold necklaces. Only string. So you'll have to just hold on.

Lana: Great...

Lana grabs onto the necklace and starts to go down as Lincoln lowers it closer to the key. Lana started shaking in fear as she got closer to the giant.

Lana: I-I'm.. almost there Lincoln..

Lincoln lowered her even more, showing some difficulty holding on as the weight was starting to prove too much.

Lana was finally lowered right by the key. She placed her feet on Luna and got right away to snipping at the string attached to the string. Lincoln breathed a sigh of relief now that he didn't have to hold on as tight now that Lana wasn't in the air.

Lincoln: Just tug on the necklace as a sign you're ready to be pulled back up.

Lana: Wait. Why can't I just walk off of Luna and head to the door?

Lincoln: There's a good chance you walking on Luna will wake her up. That isn't a chance I want to take..

Lana rolled her eyes and hugged on the necklace after getting the key. Lincoln quickly started pulling Lana back up, however..

Pulling Lana up seemed much mire difficult than lowering her down..

Lana: Come on Linc!! Hold on a little longer!! You can do it!!!

Lincoln: I-I.. can't!!!! Gah!!!

Before anyone knew what happened, Lincoln lost his grip on the necklace and it fell out of his hands. Lana looked down as she fell down on Luna...

Lana landed face first with the scissors still in hand and punctured a bit of Luna's stomach..

Causing her to instantly wake up...

Luna: GAH!!!! YOU BRATS!!!!

Lincoln: Lana!!! Run for your life!!! Get the key to the door!!

Luna felt her shirt and saw the key to the front door was gone and Lana was running away with the key. In a fit of rage, Luna stood up and grabbed a giant butcher knife on the table.

Lincoln: Hey dummy! Look over here!!

Luna: YOU!!!!!! I'LL KILL YOU FOR STABBING MY HAND!!!!

Lincoln: Gah!!!!!

Lincoln ran away from the rampaging giant. Dodging and humping over all of Luna's swings at him. Luna only get even madder and in a moment of rage pounded the table hard. The force made Lincoln fall down. Luna took her chance and made one last swing..

Lincoln opened his eyes and saw he was fine. But as he tried to move, He felt an awful pain coming from his lower legs. He looked in terror and too his horror..

His lower legs were chopped clean off..

Lincoln: AAAHHH!!!! MY LEGS!!! WHAT HAVE... you..  D-done...

Lincoln almost fainted as Luna picked him up with a hungry face.

Luna: Hello... Look what we have here! A tiny little thief.. Ready to be eaten!!

Lincoln: Please ma'am! I bet of you not to eat me! We didn't think about stealing your treasure!

Luna: oh yeah? Then why did I see your little sister take some of my gold?!

Lincoln: L-Lana.. Stole your.. Gold? Lana.. L-lana!

Lincoln turned his head to Lana, who was still hiding under the table.

Lincoln: Run!!! Go on without me!!! Unlock the door!

Lana: but.. What about you? She'll... Eat you!

Lincoln: just go! It doesn't matter as long as you're alive!

Lana closed her eyes tearfully and started running away. But Luna was one step ahead

Luna: Don't run. If you stay, I won't Eat your brother... In fact. I'll keep you two alive and well..

Lana stopped in her tracks. Luna smiled as Lana turned around.

Lana: Are.. Are you telling the truth? You.. Won't eat him?

Lincoln: Lana! Go! She's lying! She-Mph!!

Luna covered Lincolns mouth with her finger.

Luna: Yes! I'll keep both of you as pets! I'll keep you both as pets! Just come to me. Give me the key. And I'll keep you in a cage with your brother!

Lana: I-I..

Lana stayed silent for a solid minute... She sighed and dropped the key.

Lana: I'm sorry Lincoln...

Luna laughed and picked the two up.

Luna: Good girl...

The two Louds were now sitting in a cage located in the room located in a lone room by a window. The two stayed silent, thinking it was no use to speak at the moment.

Lincoln looked at Lana who was sitting on the giant ball of fluff they used as a bed. Lincoln's heart almost shattered when he saw her year stricken face of guilt..

He managed not to break out into to tears of the current situation. It looked like all hope was lost.

He tried to shrug it off and continue to whittle away at the wooden legs he was carving out for him, only being able to craw around in the surprising cage Luna gave them..

He was glad she kept her promise.

But he sometimes wished Lana Just kept running without him..

Maybe things could get better. All they could do was hope..
