I stood there quietly and waited for this random guy to say something or at least do something he was super boring especially if he was trying to be cool. "I NEED TO BE WITH SOMEONE'S GROUP AND EVERYONE ELSE HAS REFUSED ME ARE YOU GOING TO IF SO I WILL KILL HER!" Oh bro chill out why would you kill someone for your stupidity seriously. "Yeah of course you can be with us!".

He loosened his grip on Cleo, but was still holding the gun to her head. "Hey could you lower the gun from her head please she really delicate" "Oh yeah sorry about that I just hate being alone that's all" he lowered the gun from her head and released her from his grip. Okay I get what you guys are thinking your all probably like "Why did you let a maniac join you and Cleo" okay first he had a gun to her head and the rest I have no idea why.

I'm going to be honest with you guys this dude is a total jackass he's probably not going to last no offense. Cleo ran over to me and stood behind me while the other guy walked up to me. "Hey my name is John and I'm not very smart to be honest" he said while he smiled weakly. "Nice to meet you John I'm Zack and this is Cleo" not like you haven't met her already "Hi, sorry about the gun thing it's the only way I could join a group" Cleo nodded.

All I could think was that John was an idiot and that he wasn't going to last more than a week at the most. "Okay then how about we head back to the car" I stood there a moment thinking into space and then started walking back to the car with Cleo holding onto my arm.

We got to the car and John just started going through everything. What the hell are you doing seriously man stop going through all our stuff. That's another thing I was thinking about. "I haven't eaten it what seems like ages" he said with a mouth full of food. 

Cleo stayed as close as she could to me which I didn't mind to much as long as I could breath. While John was busy stuffing his face with food I decide to go on the other side of the car and Cleo followed which I dont blame her she just got a gun to her head by the guy stuffing his face.

We walked to the other side of the car and leaned on the car and looked around into the darkness. I think Cleo was realizing what had just happened and that I had saved her life kinda. She looked confused and scared, so I got off the car and held out my hand to her and she took it and let me pull her into a safe and protective hug.

I could feel her breathing slower than she had and could feel and hear tears coming down her cheek. "Thank you for saving my life" she said quietly and embraced me into a tighter hug and then let go. "Your welcome" I said softly and took her hand and leaned against the car with her again like nothing had happened.

I woke up the next morning outside of the car and saw Cleo laying on top of me and she was still asleep. I made sure no weird adult things were around to be safe. I remembered that we had a " new team member" and looked over to see if he was still here. I saw John and he was sleeping with food in his hands and some hanging out of his mouth.

Dude that's just disgusting you need to swallow the food before you fall asleep so it doesn't hang out of your mouth like that.  I took the time while Cleo was asleep on top of me to think what had happened that night. What are they and what can we call them so everybody knows what were talking about. 

Cleo moved a little and then turned over and opened her eyes.
