I've been trying to keep a positive attitude about school, but it's hard when I have to be to school at 7:30 every morning and stay until six.

I hate marching band

I hate Driver's Ed

I wish I could just get my school permit already so that I could sleep in just a little bit :( But nooooo, I have to suffer through 2 weeks of DE (it's almost painful).

And marching band sucks ass

"Why aren't you doing this right?"

"THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE DONE THIS OF COURSE WE'RE NOT GONNA DO IT RIGHT IMMEDIATELY"

"Why aren't you guys playing?"

"IT IS COLD OUTSIDE AND YOU HAVEN'T LET US WARM UP AT ALL AND OUR INSTRUMENTS PHYSICALLY CANNOT WORK"

"Okay, time to move on."

"WE CAN'T JUST DO IT ONCE AND MOVE ON, WE NEED TO REPEAT THIS SO THAT WE ACTUALLY STAND A CHANCE OF LEARNING AND MEMORIZING IT"

"You should be here on time."

"BAND IS NOT MY PRIORITY"

"You can't ever forget anything, or you will be reprimanded."

"BAND IS NOT MY PRIORITY."

"You have to wear tennis shoes every day."

"BAND IS NOT MY PRIORITY."

"You should join Jazz Band and Pep Band as well, you'll have fun!"

"NEWSFLASH: BAND IS NOT MY PRIORITY, AND I HAVE A LIFE OUTSIDE OF BAND, AND I AM NOT GOING TO DEVOTE ALL OF MY FREE TIME TO BAND BECAUSE YOU HAVE MADE IT MISERABLE."

Sorry about that, I just really needed to rant. Doc isn't really a bad guy, but I'm sick and tired of band, and I have been for the past two years.
But I'm addicted to it, and I can't quit.
