Most people would agree that Stephen is a reliable guy nowadays. In the past, he was known to be a bit of an airhead, and overly trusting. There doesn't seem to be a trace of that left.

However, just like before, Stephen is still known to be a kind and caring male. When he first meets somebody, they aren't too likely to see how he can be when he's in a poor mood, or getting some kind of vengeance.

It doesn't take much for somebody to see that cold side of him, however. Unlike he used to be, Stephen is no longer the type to easily forgive.

Stephen is a serious, cautious kind of guy when it comes to relationships of the romantic route.

Backstory:

Stephen grew up in a pretty average, happy household. There aren't many things in his childhood that the male could complain about, and obviously he's fine with that.

In the second grade, Stephen met his best friend Keith, and they've been inseparable since then. The boys were known for getting into trouble, mostly with Stephen following Keith's lead.

In high school, Stephen met your character. The male fell in love pretty much immediately, and in junior year the two of you started going out. For a while, it was pretty great and Stephen couldn't have been happier.

But, around the start of senior year, everyone but Stephen could see that the relationship was going a bit...Sour. You'd fooled around with a few other people, and almost everyone knew. But, it didn't seem like anybody wanted to be the one to tell Stephen. Quite a few people seemed to think it was his fault for being too oblivious.

What nobody knew was Stephen had found out by himself by the middle of the year. However, Stephen was waiting for you to come clean on your own, believing you would.

But, you didn't. All you did was grow progressively more distant, until Stephen eventually gave up. The male sent you a series of texts one day, telling you that he knew everything, and breaking up with you.

After that, he simply blocked you and moved along with his life. Stephen went to collage out of state, and only came back on holidays. The male ended up leaving most of his old friends behind, frustrated with them for lying to him and talking behind his back for so long. This, of course, didn't include Keith.

During collage, he met a girl named Rose. Even though Stephen had decided to put dating on hold for a while, just while he "fixed" a few personality traits that he no longer enjoyed about himself, Stephen couldn't help but fall for Rose.

It didn't take long for them to start going out, though their relationship was on the casual side for a while. Around graduation, they started to get more serious.

You'll admit that you, like most people did a few things you regretted in high school. One of the biggest ones, however, was the way to treated Stephen and how things ended between you.

At first, the breakup hadn't gotten to you too much. With the way Simon was, you figured he'd probably end up apologizing and forgiving you soon enough. You'd never known Stephen to hold a grudge after all.

But, as weeks went on without you hearing a thing from Stephen, things had started to sink in. The more time that went by without you hearing anything from him, or even about him, the more you realized the male had taken you out of his life completely.

After a few months, you'd found out he'd left the state for collage, something he hadn't been planning to do before.

But, that was the last thing you'd heard about him.

You didn't know why, but it was hard for you to get over Stephen. You knew it shouldn't have been, especially because you'd found a few other people interesting enough to have sex with while you'd been dating him. Finding someone new to date shouldn't have been too difficult.

But, Stephen seemed to cross your mind pretty often.

A few years have gone by now, and you still weren't over him completely. But, you were starting to think of him less and less.

That is, until you walked into a cafe one morning and spotted the familiar male behind the counter, laughing as he talked to a pretty blonde girl. At first, you didn't believe that it could be Stephen.

But, when you got closer to order, you saw the male's nametag. It was definitely him.
