2 years later

Oh, my word let me let you in on what happened these past 2 years.

I finally got the courage to leave Melai Art Galleries and I started my own photography company where I take pictures for weddings, maternity shoots, etc which is going so well, I hired 2 other photographers to help with the workload and Paul wasn't happy till she knew that Maxwell was gay and Lucy was the girl I met at school.

I chose them because they reminded me so much of myself back when I didn't have a lot, Maxwell was rejected for being gay like what the hell? People still do that it's 2020 for goodness sake and Lucy is a single mom who needed this job for her kids, her ex-husband wanted to destroy her by taking everything from her...thank God that idiot paid upfront so she managed to complete her degree.

I found her crying one day and that's when we started talking.....

For someone who knows what it's like to have people reject and not give you an opportunity, they helped me and we are doing so well teamwork is always amazing when all parties participate equally.

Everything is going better then I expected and I finally graduated, that day my dad came I honestly Dont know why he was there but he said he wanted to support me I thanked him but told him, you can forgive someone wish them well and still stay far from them and that's what I asked for which he finally accepted.

I forgave them but I Dont want them near me and my family anymore...

I tracked down my brother who stays in another State but flew here for Christmas because we had a party for our small family, he came with his wife and 5 kids he has the perfect family.

My kids have the best uncles...uncle Freddie and uncle Matt(my brother). They flew back after postponing 5 times it was so hard saying goodbye to them when I just my them but we promised to keep in touch which he does...I've always wanted siblings and finding him was a blessing he's a doctor and his wife is a nurse that's how they met.

The party consisted of our small family, Tia's family, and Matt's, Marc came with Aronia in the past 2 years we have been getting closer and closer she's an amazing friend.

I and Paul had a second child Rose Lee she's 6 months now and she took my place I don't get the attention anymore just kidding I'd rather die than sound like my.mother.

I haven't seen my parents in a while because they are banned from here....my mom is still going for her treatment at least there's an improvement and they have hope she will walk again.🙄

A few weeks back we had a small party for Arne he turned 2 he was so high from all the candy it took me hours to calm.him.down...

He got a Mercedes Paul spoils him way too much and sometimes I Dont like it, when he grows up we need to teach him about being rich and how he should always remain humble.

My brother came with his family again I wonder why doesn't he move here... Tia's family too, it was such an amazing day I was more excited for the birthday party like it was mine.

All in all, we had an amazing day full of love and laughter...Tia's twins are worse than her so you can imagine how the party ended...

I was driving home from work taking loads of pictures for a wedding downtown for my ex Trevorto to be exact, Lucy and Max couldn't go so yippee I had to go,  he was weird at first but after I told him to chill he stopped being petty we both moved on.....When I was done with the pictures I spoke to his wife who I finalized everything with then got to my car because was ready to go home to my kids.

Trevor came behind me and when I got in my.car he knocked on my window...why does my day have to end like this...his more annoying than a mosquito...

"Melody"

"I spoke to our wife Trevor everything is okay"

"No, I wanted to ask you something"

I rolled down the window

" I saw your high school video and it reminded me of our night, can we have that one last time before we both start living our lives"

I closed my window and drove over his foot...

"Oh sorry I didn't see your small foot like your other small foot there " I smiled and pointed at his pants and drove off...

I couldn't wait to get home I left my sick son for this stupid wedding, I can't believe men like him still exist.

Paul didn't go to work because Arne had a fever. So he took him to see a pediatrician.

I was finally home parked my car and went inside our house ...

"Baby" I called Paul he came out wearing shorts only .....I bit my lower lip

"Hmm are you checking me out, Mrs. Marks"

"Maybe" I blushed

"So how was the wedding?"

"Not bad I had fun how is my son?"

"The fever went down and he's busy playing with his car"

We argue a lot me and Arne but he speaks his language and throws tantrums while I shout and we just go on and on it's funny Paul said he's more like me whatever that means...

Then he went running around again laughing...then someone woke up.

Paul came with her in his arms I kissed both of them yes that's our baby girl.

"Nooo"

"What"

"My kiss is meant to be longer Mrs. Marks"

"You'll survive"

"I'll put her down and tickle you"

"Fine Paul"

Then we kissed we even forgot he's carrying Rose oops we stopped in time ....then he sat down with her and I started cooking for us.

I made a simple dish just lasagne and a salad because I was tired.

After Arne ate he fell asleep watchingPaw Patrol for 6 768 876th time.

Rose fell asleep before him and we carefully placed them in their beds.

I went to the shower and wore my short PJs ...

Paul came and hugged me from behind kissing my neck doing that thing...fuck it we couldn't keep our hands to each other as we made love again and again...

My life turned out better then I expected I'm happy because Paul gave me a push and always believed in me, I love him for the man he is and I'm happy we took a chance I guess my mom thought marrying him would be a nightmare but it turns out it was truly a blessing in disguise.

Now remember how life works, sometimes when someone hates you for nothing it means they see something in you that you're missing and them trying to harm you works for you.

Most times Starting over is a blessing...Never be afraid to start over you'll never know what's waiting for you on that other side of that door.....
