I woke up with a horrible headache and Paul next to me..what is he doing here

He looked at me with sad eyes

I woke up with those annoying hospital sounds tried turning but a slight pain on my head stopped me so I touched my head and there was a bandage on it...Paul saw me awake and came running...

"what happened," I asked him confused

"some drunk  idiot crashed on you and you hit a tree but it wasn't that bad just a minor concussion"

I heard bells ringing....but I guess I always knew was just in denial its one thing to feel something but having proof of it...

"I forgive you Mel I just needed to digest it all.... now we can start over we are given a second chance "

I was discharged a few days later and my parents came to see me I pretended to be sleeping and they left but when Rosie came I was awake and ready.

They asked how I was and I told them I'm good everyone is excited about the pregnancy to be honest I'm still numb...

It was a long day I was cleaning after his family left and he came running telling me to leave it I love that he's thoughtful but I need to keep busy or ill lose my mind....
