Kirishima pov
There was a knock at my door. I anxiously went and opened it to see Ashido. "Thanks for coming." I said, sounding almost out of breath. I was so nervous for my date, which we were doing at 5pm. It was currently 4:10 and I was so stressed. It was weird because I'd technically been on a date with Kat already, to the mall, but I guess this was different. I think it was because it was official, and he had taken all the time to plan it, I didn't want to mess up. In a moment of panic, I had texted Ashido to come over. The good friend she was, she almost instantly arrived at my room.
"What's all this about?" I heard concern in her voice. Maybe she thought I was 'sad', like I was back in middle school . For god sake, I hope I hadn't made her worry! I wanted to reassure her;
"You like clothes and styling and all that, well I need your help." As I said this, her body almost lost all tension, she smiled.
"What's the special occasion?" She said with fake flirtation. Oh no, I hadn't thought about what to tell her.
"Umm-" I was genuinely stuck on what to say. "I'm just going out I guess."
"I guess?" She laughed at my innocence as she began searching through my closet for clothes. " Is it perhaps, a date?" She turned whilst saying this. I felt my cheeks go warm and she giggled at me. "Wait?" She then lost her smile. Her face was replaced with an expression of thought. Then she began thinking out loud; "Now Uraraka told me that Bakugou needed help planning something. We then both assumed it was a date cause of what I heard yesterday, and now you're getting ready for something that's making you really nervous-" my heart was beating rapidly. I couldn't believe she was onto us already. I just stumbled with my words. She then looked at me with eyes full of excitement, confusion, sympathy and happiness. "Kirishima, are you going on a date with Bakugou?"
"Umm- wha- err, like-" I was in such a state of panic I didn't know what to do.
"Because if so Kirishima, that's amazing." Her smile whilst saying this was so warm and peaceful; not her usual crazy smile. Was I about to come out to Ashido?
"Don't- don't tell anyone." They were the only words I could get out. I was shaking. It was strange, I knew Ashido would of course be accepting and great, but I was just terrified if it would create a shift in our friendship. She then hugged me with an embrace or reassurance and lovingness.
"I'm so excited for you." Ashido said kindly.
"Thanks, I'm- I'm really excited as well." We stared at each other for a moment, then out of the blue, she hit me.
"So why haven't you told me earlier?"

We basically spent the next twenty minutes or so discussing my relationship with Kat. I explained how it was extremely new, I told her about how it all happened, how we kissed, when I caught feelings. I didn't realise how amazing it would feel to just express your emotions so freely. I think training to be a hero can almost make you forget about things like that. Throughout the whole conversation Ashido constantly made 'oo' and 'aww' noises; she repetitively expressed how cute it all was. After picking out the outfit, which Ashido said it made me like 'awesome', she begged to come with me on my way to do the date, but I had to decline. "Oh please Kirishima, I'll hide in a bush as soon as we see Bakugou, I promise." I just laughed at her.
"Sorry Ashido, no can do."
"God darn it." We both chuckled together as I began to gather my things. She looked directly at me. "Don't be nervous, it'll go great."
"But what if I'm like, bad at 'dating' or something." I said worryingly. She rolled her eyes.
"You two are going on a date because you like each other, so who cares if you're bad at dating, Bakugou certainly won't care." Who knew she could be so wise. I nodded at her defiantly. We left the dorm building and started to walk our separate ways. She yelled over to me; "Good luck, have fun, and remember; tell me everything after the date!"
"Will do!"
