Logan took off down the street followed by two cop cars, Logan looked in his rear view mirror and smirked as he did a 180 on the spot making both cop cars shoot past him, Logan then took off the opposite direction as both cop car hadn't even turned around, by the time they did Logan and his Nissan 370 were nowhere in sight.

Logan stayed hidden in a dark alleyway with his lights and engine off, he sighed as his head hit the head rest.

Logan: Fuck, I was getting layed tonight.

He said hitting his wheel, he then looked ahead and noticed Dom running away from him, Logan turned his car on as he spotted Brian's car pick him up, Logan followed as Brian and Dom took off away from the cops.

Logan: I just lost you guys...

Logan and Brian eventually managed to lose the cops as Logan continued to follow Brian's bright green car.

Dom: You're the last person in the world I expected to show up.

Brian: I thought if I got in your good graces, you might convince him to let me keep my car.

Brian said nodding to Dom's window, Dom looked to see Logan now driving beside them as he shot them a wink.

Dom: You are in my good graces, but you ain't keeping your car.

Dom said looking from Logan to Brain.

Dom: You drive like you've done this before. Are you a wheelman?

Brian: No.

Dom: You boost cars?

Brian: No. Never.

Dom: Ever done time?

Brian: Couple of overnighters. No big deal.

Brian said taking his eyes off the road for the first time in a while to see Dom looking at him as Logan is going around them in a circle bored out of his mind.

Dom: What about the two years in juvie for boosting cars?

Brian looked surprised at Dom as Dom caught Brian on a lie.

Dom: Tucson, right? I had Jesse run a profile on you, Brain Earl Spilner.

Brian looked from the road back and forward to Dom and the road ahead of him every now and then.

Dom: He'll find anything on the Web. Anything about anybody... even Logan.

Brian looked past Dom to see Logan back there just driving next to them, he looked like he was thinking about something but no one will ever know what he's thinking about.

Dom: So, why bullshit?

Dom asked as they both turned their eyes to the road ahead.

Brian: So, what about you?

Dom looked at Brian as if he was crazy.

Dom: Two years in Lompoc. I'll die before I go back.

Brian looked at Dom then still noticed Logan and asked.

Brian: What about him?

Brian asked nodding towards Logan, Dom looked and smiled.

Dom: Logan? Nah, he's never done time...

Brian nodded in understanding.

Dom: ... Their never able to catch him.

Brian looked at Dom confused so Dom clarified.

Dom: They've giving him a codename... well the car, the cops don't know what he looks like.

Brian continued to look at Dom as Dom said something Brian never expected him to.

Dom: The Cops call him the Night Rider...

Brian's eyes widen in shock as he looks to see Logan looking back at him with a weary eye, they were then brought out of their conversation as a bike drove beside Logan and tapped his window, the same happened for Brian.

Dom: Oh, great.

Brian: What?

Dom: It's going to be a long-ass night. That's what.

Both Brian and Logan followed them, Brian in his neon green Eclipse and Logan in his Matte black Nissan.

Eventually Brian and Logan came to a stop just outside a memorial for a Chinese Philosopher form 500 B.C, Logan got out his car followed by both Dom and Brian as the bikers dismounted and Logan made his way next to Dom, Dom and Logan looked to see a face they didn't like...Johnny Tran and his cousin Lance Nguyen.

Johnny: I thought we had an agreement. You stay away. I stay away. Everybody stays happy.

Jonny said staring daggers at Logan, Logan winked at him which just seemed to piss him off even more.

Dom: We got lost. What do you want me to tell you?

Johnny: Who's 'we'?

Dom: My new mechanic. Brian, meet Johnny Tran. The guy in the snakeskin pants. That's his cousin. Lance. So, when are you going to give me a shot at that Honda 2000 of yours?

Johnny ignored Dom and looked at Brian.

Johnny: This your ride?

Brian: It was. It's his now.

Brian said pointing towards Logan.

Logan: No it's not. I haven't taken delivery.

Brian looked at Logan as if he's crazy, but Logan had a plan as Logan knew that Johnny will destroy this car if he knew it was his, so did Dom so he stayed quite and Brian seemed to catch on pretty quickly.

Johnny: Then, it's nobody's car. But somebody put in the wrench time.

Johnny said walking around the car, Logan and Dom shared a look as Johnny looked to his cousin.

Johnny: What do you think, Lance?

Lance: It's an amazing machine.

He said with no emotion, it kinda creeped Logan out but Logan wasn't bothered as he just wanted to go home at this point, okay he has $10,000 in his pocket right now and Johnny seemed to not spot Logan's car to the side so he wanted to get out of there before Logan was down to one car.

Johnny: Yes, indeed.

Jonny then patted Dom on his arm and walked towards his bike.

Johnny: Let's go.

All of Johnny's crew started to get on their bikes as Johnny looked at Logan.

Johnny: I'll see you in the desert next month. Be ready to have your ass handed to you.

Logan: Don't worry... I got something for your spoiled ass.

Logan said with a grin as Johnny smirked and he and his crew took off down the road.

Logan: Wow, that was intense.

Dom looked at Logan then they both looked at Brian when he spoke.

Brian: What the hell was that all about?

Dom: Long story. I'll tell you later. Let's get out of here.

Logan went to get in his car as Brian and Dom went to get in Brian's car, but all three of them stopped and looked to see Johnny and his cousin come back, Lance started to open fire on Brian's car as Johnny emptied his gun on Logan's car.

Logan, Dom and Brian managed to dive out of harms way as the bullets impacted with their cars. Dom and Brian stood by and watched as Brian's car went up in flames, Logan's didn't, but then Dom remembered.

Dom: NOS!

Dom, Brian and Logan ran away from Brian's car as if exploded and because Logan's car was close to Brian's it also followed suit and went up in a ball of flames.

Logan looked at his car in genuine anger as he spent years turning it into a unbeatable racing machine and now it's gone, Dom noticed and put his hand on Logan's shoulder, Dom knew how much that car meant to Logan, Logan didn't say anything as he just started walking away from the destroyed cars, Brian and Dom shortly followed and managed to catch up to them.

Dom walked in between Brian and Logan as Brian asked.

Brian: So, what the hell was that all about?

Dom: It's a long story.

Brian: Well, we got a 20-mile hike. Humour me.

Dom: A business deal that went sour. Plus, we made the mistake of sleeping with his sister.

Brian looked at both Dom and Logan and Logan smirked.

Logan: What do you mean made? I still make said mistake on a regular bases 

They all chuckled as they continued to walk to their next destination, till a car pulled up beside them and the window followed down to show the women form before that didn't want to let go of Logan...

Logan leaned into the window and smiled.

Random girl: You need a ride cutie?~

Logan looked back to Dom and Brian, he shrugged and gave them both a fist bump then jumped in the car.

Logan: See you back at the house.

The girl then gave a cute wave as she put her foot down and took off down the road, Logan then smiled at her and started to ask questions.

Logan: So, you know me but I don't know you?

Katherine: Katherine... Thompson.

Logan looked at her as she started to rub his thigh, but he quickly got on edge from what she said next.

Katherine: And I'm and undercover Cop for the LA PD.

Brian and Dom finally made it to Dom's place as they looked to see a party clearly underway, they said their byes as Brian was about to walk off, but then Dom looked in the window and got an idea.

Dom: Yo, Spilner.

Brian looked back at Dom.

Dom: You want a beer?

Brian: Yeah, sure.

Brian said with a shrug as he went back towards Dom's place, what they didn't know was Mia was looking out her bedroom window and when she saw that Brian was coming in the house she quickly made her self look presentable.

Dom and Brian entered the house as Vince was playing a guitar and all the rest of Dom's crew was sat around as if Dom wasn't missing for the last few hours.

Leon was the first to spot Dom as he looked worried for a second as Dom made his way towards him.

Leon: Yo, Dom. we were just about to go looking for you, brother.

Dom slapped Leon's drink out his hand as he went towards Vince.

Dom: Where were you?

Vince: There were mass cops there. They came in from every direction. It was orchestrated.

What they didn't know was the Night Rider is sat in a car with the one who orchestrated it.

Dom: This your beer?

Vince: Yeah, that's my beer.

Dom then picked up Vince's drink as he looked in the kitchen to see Jessi with his hands all over a women.

Dom: Yo, Einstein, as proud Logan would be of you. Take it upstairs.

Jessie let go off the girl for a second.

Dom: You can't detail a car with the cover on. 

Dom then made his way to the door.

Dom: Can't even get that right.

Dom was then stopped by Letty

Letty: You all right?

Dom looked at her as if it was a stupid question as Brian came through the door.

Dom: Am I alright?

Letty: It was just a question.

Dom then walked away as Vince noticed Brian stepping into the house.

Vince: You, Dom. Why did you bring the buster here?

Dom turned around and was furious at his 'crew'

Dom: 'Cause the buster kept me out of handcuffs! He didn't just run back to the fort! The buster brought me back. 

Dom then turned his back to Vince and walked towards Brian.

Dom: You can have any brew you want, as long as it's a Corona.

Brian then took the beer out of Dom's right hand which happened to be the beer he took form Vince.

Brian: Thanks, man.

Dom: That's Vince's. So, enjoy it.

Brian and Dom looked at Vince as Brian used his shirt to clean the top of the bottle, Brian then took a sip still keeping eye contact with Vince as Vince was not very happy with Brian at this point.

Brian then looked to Dom who was smiling at Vince's annoyance.

Brian: Hey, bro. You got a bathroom?

Dom: Upstairs. First door on the right.

Brian went to the bathroom as Dom sat down on a nearby chair and sighed as it was in fact a long night. At least Logan's having a good time, he thought before Vince came up to him.

Vince: He's got no call being up in here. You don't know that fool for shit.

Leon: He's right, Dom.

Dom ignored Leon and looked at Vince.

Dom: There was a time when I didn't know you.

Vince: That was in the third grade!

Vince then stepped back as Dom looked at Leon.

Dom: Yeah. So, what girls are here?

Leon: You name it. You want mine?

Letty then pushed Leon as she approached Dom.

Letty: You need to shut it... You look a bit tired. I think you should go upstairs and give me a message.

Dom: Look at all our guests.

Letty didn't care as she just wanted Dom upstairs, weather it was for a message or something else that is for them to know.

Letty: How about you give me a massage?

Dom realised he was fighting a loosing battle and followed Letty as she pulled him towards the stair case as Brian came down them, Dom stopped him and Brian looked at him.

Dom: You know you owe me a 10-second car, right?

Brian smiled as Letty laughed as she dragged Dom up the stairs leaving Brian in the room with Vince Leon and Jessie, the three started to slowly walk towards Brian till Mia came in a saved the day.

Mia: Jesus Christ! Would you cut this shit? Come on!

She said pushing Vince back and standing between them and Brian.

Mia: Come on. Let's go get me a drink.

She said pulling Brian towards the drinks area of the party as Leon opened his big mouth.

Leon: Come on Mia, we were just about to get along.

Mia and Brian made it to the drinks as Brian went to get her one.

Brian: So, what do you want?

Mia: Anything, as long as it's cold.

Brian went to get her, her drink as she looked at him.

Mia: You know, my brother likes you. He usually doesn't like anybody.

Brian: He likes Logan...

Mia: You obviously don't know Logan, everybody likes Logan and Logan like everybody.

Brian: Really?

Mia: Yeah, you'll know if he doesn't like you.

Brian: How?

Mia: My brother looked into Logan's past not to long ago... Logan beat the shit out of him for it.

Brian looked at Mia over his shoulder as yes Logan is well built but he's smaller then Dom in everyway.

Mia: Dom said 'I have never been hit so hard in my life'.

Brian then got Mia's drink and made his way towards her.

Brian: He's a complicated guy.

Mia: Yeah? What about you?

Brian stopped just in front of Mia.

Brian: I'm simpler.

Mia: You're a shitty liar.

She said taking her drink form him as he sat next to her with his arm resting on the cabinet behind them.

Brian: Well, I'll take that as a compliment.

Mia: But there's a problem.

Brian: What's that?

Mia: You need to get some sleep. And you definitely, definitely need a shower.

She said smiling at him as Brian smiled back.

Mia: Come on. I'll take you home.

Vince, Jessie and Leon watched as Mia and Brian left the party, but then Vince noticed that someone was missing.

Vince: Where's Logan?
