Chapter 3: The Hacker

"Me?" Was the first word uttered by Grian. "How can you know me? I don't know who you are, 'Slip Gator', if that is your real name; I mean, what kind of a name is 'Slip Gator,' am I right?" There was a definite nervous tone in his voice.

"You're the one behind all of this. You did this to me, and I'll never forgive you," Sl1pg8r responded, and with that, he pulled a crossbow and arrow from a rucksack that nobody seemed to have noticed upon his entry.

Grian, who had began to tremble at the sight of this, a bit unnatural for a mere unloaded crossbow, wailed "Please, no; I've never done anything to you, and I don't know who you are! Please... please don't kill me."

"Umm... Hey X? This may not be the best time, but... we've got a problem."

Someone had spoken. Sl1pg8r lowered his now loaded crossbow as everyone looked towards Zedaph, who was staring in horror at a computer screen. "X, first of all... sorry for looking at your computer while you weren't looking, it was just... right there, and I was just a bit curious as to what I might... oh never mind," he added onto his brief paragraph of an explanation, after receiving confused and some angered looks from the Hermits. "Anyway, I looked at your computer... Sorry again for using it, please don't be angry with me... Well, I looked, and I saw... this."

The computer screen displayed a complex looking command.

"So... what's is say," Jevin (who had somehow managed to remain silent up until this point) asked intently.

Xisuma replied with "It means that... Well, for one, I've been locked out of the admin system, by someone called Xelqua, but," He pointed to the second half of the command. "This one... well, it states that the respawn point has been relocated to the void in the end... So that means... when we die, we won't come back."

Xisuma's words resonated throughout the entire hall, amid the silence. But he wasn't the only voice that had sounded.

Standing in the doorway, poised against the light so that a shadow of the figure would be cast, was a dark figure. Purple and black dust surrounded the figure, who was entirely black in colour, except for two green eyes. A red substance, that looked very much like blood, seemed to be dripping from the figure's right eye. Grian, once again, trembled at the sight of this person, but so did Xisuma. And, for some reason, Python.
