Aryaman was shocked listening to Nandini's question. "Bolo Aryaman? How do you know about my chacha and chachi?" Nandini asked. "Aray..tumhi ne to bataya tha.." He replied. "Mainay? When did I tell you? No, I didn't!" She said. "Aray..usdin when you were fainting, you were saying some random stuff.. yeah.. there you mentioned them..and I heard. Zahir hai, warna mujhe kese pata chalega.." He said. "Oh..okay..Maybe." she said.
When Aryaman and Nandini were having this conversation, Manik was continuously staring them. "Chill kar Manik, Aisai random baat chalrahi hai, tu to aisay dekhraha hai jaise shadi ki bat chalrhi ho.." Said Mukti. Alya and Dhruv started to laugh. "Aey Cabir! tu kia devdas bana betha hai yar.." Said Mukti. "Cabir, kahan khoya hua hai?" Dhruv asked. "Nahe..nahe..wo bas aisai.." He replied. (Cabir was thinking of why did Nandini lie to him.) After sometime, the bus reached the Farmhouse. "Beautiful!" Said Alya, looking at the farmhouse.
As everyone started to move inside, The principal came to make an announcement. "Okay so students, now for the next round of music gala, we will see your individual talent against your rivals! yes you are right. No matter if you're participating as a band, you will compete as an individual with a member of another band. And who two will be the competitors will be decided by Chits so first, go see your rooms, freshen up and meet me at the Garden on the backside in 45 minutes!" Saying this, he left! "Kia? matlab ab hum alag perform krenge nandu?" Said Navya. Nandini smiled and nodded. "Nandu? Kia bat hai? Tumhari tabyat to theek haina? Kahin khoyi khoyi si lagrahi ho.." asked Navya. "Nahi..it's just that wo Aryaman.. There's something strange about him..I feel like I know him..I don't know why.. I feel like there's some connection between us.." Nandini said. "Connection? Aisa kaise hosakta hai nandu. Tum sirf zada he sochrai ho" Said Navya. "Hmm..Maybe you're right.." Said Nandini.
Nandini, Navya, Mukti, and Alya were room partners whereas on the other hand, Manik, Aryaman, Cabir and Dhruv were room partners.
After freshening up, all of them assembled in the garden and the procedure of choosing competitors began. "So the first name is..Nandini Murthy!! Let's see who she will be competing with.. Oh My God!! It is, Manik Malhotra!!" Hearing this, Nandini was shocked. "Wy aii appa!! Out of all these people, why Manik!!" She said to herself. Mukti Cabir Alya and Dhruv looked at eachother and started to laugh and Manik, was extremely happy. He had that evil smile on his face. "So, Nandini and Manik will be having a face off. Superb!" Said Cabir.
"So, Manik and Nandini.. Shall we start?" asked te principal. "Shall we?" asked Manik, looking at Nandini. Nandini nodded. "You're competing with me, Best of luck. You need it!" Said Manik to Nandini. " Keep it with yourself. You'll need it more." Replied Nandini. "Impressive!" Said Manik.

The face off started.

Both of them were so much lost in their song, and were singing with so much purity that everybody in the garden had tears in their eyes including Manik and Nandini itself. "Magical!!" The principal said. Manik and Nandini looked at eachother and wiped away their tears. "Truly, you two were superb! both of you qualify for the Next round. Your bands are qualified.

Nandini left the garden in tears. Aryaman followed her. "Hey, you were amazing there!" he said to her. "Thankyou..Thankyou so much.." She replied. "You and Manik.. Were magical. If you don't mind can I ask you a question?" Aryaman said. "Yes, sure. Bolo na?" She replied. "I know..I know You both feel for eachother..then why do you keep pushing him away?" He asked. Nandini smiled and said.."pata hai Aryaman, sometimes in life there are moments in time when our smile becomes expression of strength but you'll never know the battles because.. because we go to war within ourselves.. " "Oh..Oh! That was deep! I hope you dont mind me asking this..afterall I'm just a stranger.." He said. " Kabhi Kabhi, it's easier to tell a stranger something very personal..It's like, there's less risk, opening yourself up to someone who doesn't know you.." She replied. Aryaman smiled and said " Don't worry! Everything will be fine. Janti hona, where there's no light, the fireflies shine. Just like your fireflies, your life will shine aswell.." Saying this, he left. Nandini smiled. After sometime, Nandini was in a state of shock. "Fireflies? My fireflies? how does he know about my fireflies?" She said to herself. Just when she was thinking about this, her head started to burn again, everything started revolving infront of her eyes and she fell on the floor. "nandini! nandini!" someone shouted. After sometime, she woke up in the hospital. "Who brought me here?" she asked the doctor.
