Anamika is thoughtful about the new revelations that she has learned. She wants her mom to tell her the truth, while the lady is avoiding her. But Anamika is an adamant soul, determined to find the relationship between Naina and Devika. Upon her constant insistence, Naina denies it again and Anamika sighs.

"Mom! Kya ho gaya hai aapko? Aap toh kehti thi na ki main aapki dost hoon aur aap mujhse kuch bhi share kar sakte ho? Fir aap aur Dadda mujhse kya chhupa rahe ho?"

"Mumma, main bachchi nahi rahi hoon. Aapko pata hai, main 2-3 din se note kar rahi hoon, aap aur Dadda na jaane kiske baare mein baatein karte rehte ho. Aap gussa ho na Dadda se?"

Anamika's questions prompt Naina to stop and look at her daughter. Anamika glances at her mother and knows that she has struck the right chord. She walks towards her mom and makes her sit on the couch.

"Mumma, please mujhe batao na kya baat hai? Aur vo Devika! Aapki dost? Wo kaun hai, kahan hain? Mujhe batao, kya hua unko? Aap mujhe nahi behla sakti. Batao naa. I will only help you, mom," Anamika insists.

"I know, meri beti ab bahut badi ho gayi hai, lekin Ana, kuch baatein tum na jaano toh behtar hain."

"Aur raha Devika ka sawal! Toh Devika, main aur tumhare Dadda, hum sab ek hi college mein padhte they. Tumhe toh pata hai na beta, koi bhi rishta ho, nok-jhok aur ladaai toh hoti hi rehti hain, chahe dosti ho ya shadi. Aise hi kuch baat ho gayi thi jiske baad Devika Mumbai chhod ke chali gayi. Aur ab main nahi jaanti wo kahan hai?" Naina says she's suddenly emotional at the moment.

"Aapko mann nahi hota unse milne ka? Main toh Ishika ko abhi se miss kar rahi hoon." Anamika asks, talking about her best friend.

"Bahut mann hota hai, Anu. Lekin main toh jaanti hi nahi ki wo kahan hain? Jaane se pehle wo mujhse mili bhi nahi." Naina says she's lost in the moment, remembering her best friend.

"Mumma, hum unko dhundh toh sakte hain na? We can search for her on social media." Anamika suggests.

"Sach mein?" Naina is amused at the moment.

"Han, Mumma. Hum unko dhundhenge. Lekin, please aap itni upset mat ho. Mujhe achcha nahi lagta." She says she is trying to convince her mother.

Naina is in awe of her daughter's understanding. Surely, the girl is very sweet and she knows that even Raj couldn't understand her in the way she does. She comes out of her trance when Anamika chides her and Naina embraces her in her arms. She thanks her and Anamika is surprised. She takes the hug and kisses her mom's cheek.

"Aap mujhe thanks kyun bol rahi ho?" She asks.

"Mujhe ye ehsaas dilaane ke liye ab meri beti meri dost ban gayi hai. Anyway, tujhe movie dekhne chalna tha na, hum chalte hain." Naina says.

"Sachi? Hum jayenge?" Anamika chuckles at the moment.

"Yes, honey. Vaise bhi tumhare papa aur Dadu office gaye hain. Shaam tak aayenge. Toh chalo, hum chalte hain, lunch bhi aaj meri beti ki pasand ka hoga." Naina says, patting her cheeks.

She knows that this is the best way to divert Anamika from the matter. She doesn't want Anamika to hold grudges against her father. She also knows that Rajveer is very protective of his daughter and he won't like it if she gets to know the truth.

Anamika chuckles and the mother and daughter leave the house for their planned day out.

Vineet wakes up to the aroma of coffee. He walks out of the room and finds Devika working in the kitchen. He hugs her, greeting her for the day. Devika smiles, tapping his cheek, and it's enough to know that his mother is not mad at him anymore. He holds the coffee mugs and walks out of the kitchen while his mother follows her. It's been his habit since childhood. Whenever Devika used to prepare something for both of them, he'd hold the mugs or plates and run out of the kitchen. She smiles, remembering her son's childhood.

"Bachpan ki aadat gayi nahi abhi tak teri? Coffee garam hai, gir jayegi," she says.

"Aur aapka bhi ye dialogue nahi badla na Maa, main chai ke cup uthata nahi hoon aur aap kehti ho gir jayegi." Vineet mimics his mother.

"Aur tu cheezein gira bhi deta hain. Be responsible, Vineet." Devika replies.

"Ab jaane do na, Ma. Main aage se dhyan rakhunga. Vaise aap thik ho na?" He asks softly.

"Han, main thik hoon. Khair, main keh rahi thi ki tujhe jisse bhi milna hai, mil le. Main ghar pe hi rahungi." His mom informs him and his face falls off.

"Nai, hum aaj Orbit Mall jayenge. Please! " Vineet requests.

"Vinu, maine kaha na ki main nahi jaungi. Main tere liye yahan aayi hoon. Aur ab main ghar pe hi rehna chahti hoon. Tu sahi keh raha tha, iss ghar mein tere dad ki yaadein hi nahi, ehsaas bhi hai. Isliye tu jaa, apne doston se mil, that's it." Devika explains her point.

"Arey Ma, please. Jab hum wahan rehte hai tab toh aap sab jagah chalne ko kehti ho mujhe, aur aaj main keh raha hoon toh tum mana kar rahi ho. Not fair, Ma." He makes a face.

"Vinu, dekh, maine teri baat maani hai na? India aayi hoon, sirf tere liye. Toh ab tujhe meri baatein maanni chahiye. Tu hi keh raha tha ki tu apne doston se milna chahta hai toh jaa, unse mil ke aa." She says she's not in a mood to go anywhere.

Devika is ecstatic. Now that she's in India, she wants to spend time with the memories of her deceased husband. She doesn't want to go out; in fact, she is fearful of meeting a certain someone. Since she's in the same city where people deprived her of her happiness, she doesn't want to face anyone. She denies Vineet another time but he's adamant.

"Ma, dekho, zaroori toh nahi na ki jo pehle hua, wo fir se ho. Main jaanta hoon, aap darti ho, lekin darr ki wajah se aap jeena toh nahi chhod sakti ho naa. Come on, Chalo, get ready; aaj main ek nahi sununga." Vineet says softly.

Devika tries to speak but Vineet is adamant and Devika has to agree. He smiles and soon the mother-son duo leaves for Orbit Mall. As they leave, Vineet sends a message to Anamika, who has also left for Orbit Mall.

Yeah, it is all a plan by Anamika and Vineet and their moms are respectively oblivious to their plans. While the two hope their moms will have a sweet reunion, the ladies are ecstatic about encountering the one they fear.
