Devika and Vineet reach India and they reach their home. She gets emotional seeing the nameplate outside their flat. She cleans the nameplate with her dupatta and then they head inside the house. She is elated to be back in the place where she has spent a good time with the love of her life.

She asks Vineet to help her and she's looking around the house, cleaning every bit of the place. Suddenly, her eyes fell on a frame that was kept on one shelf in the living room. She suddenly feels rage building inside her.

It's a picture of her long-lost friends along with her. Seeing the picture brought many memories from which she's running away. The glass of the frame is already cracked.

"I hate you, Raj! I hate you! Tumne wo sab kiya jo maine kabhi tumse expect nahi kiya tha. Mom dad na samajhte, uncle na samajhte, lekin tum bhi nahi samajh paye aur khud ko mera best friend kehte they. Tumhari wajah se maine apni best friend ko kho diya..kyunki usey bhi tum nahi main galat nazar aa rahi thi!"

She speaks it all in a low tone but she's unaware that Vineet is listening to all of it, or maybe he's seen her shedding tears. He comes by her side...

"Ma, kya hua?" He asks softly.

"Kuch nahi, Vineet. Bas kuch puraani yaadein taaza ho gayi hain." she says, rubbing off the tear from her eyes but Vineet notices it.

"Ma, please. Don't cry! I promise ab aisa kuch nahi hoga jaisa aap soch rahi ho. Trust me!" Vineet says in order to convince her.

"Main umeed karti hoon ki aisa kuch nahi hoga. Lekin tujhe bhi promise karna hoga ki tu mujhe bina bataye kahin nahi jaayega, samjha? Dekh main tujhe khona afford nahi kar sakti. Bas ye 15 din aur fir hum wapas chale jayenge." Devika looks at her son.

"Han Maa, I agree. Jaisa tum kahogi waisa hi hoga. Acha ab jaao, fresh ho jaao, tab tak main chai banata hoon." Vineet says trying to calm her.

Devika nods and moves to a bedroom which belonged to her and Daksh once. She enters in the room adjacent to her room and switched on the lights. Vineet is surprised to see that the room is decorated with ribbons and balloons which have now fused. Ruhana smiles faintly at the moment.

"Ye sab kya hai?" He asks.

"Jis din mujhe pata chala tha ki main pregnant hoon us din tumhare dad ne ye sab decorate kiya tha. He used to say ki ye tumhara room hoga. He decorated it lekin na toh tumhare dad rahe aur na hi ye ghar. Sab kuch waisa hi hai jaisa 25 saal pehle tha." Devika says emotionally.

"Obviously it's mine. Main isi room ko set kar lunga. Maza aayega. Dad ka choice hai toh acha hi hoga." Vineet chuckles.

She smiles lightly at her son and the latter asks her to freshen up. She agrees and enters her room. Her gaze falls on the big portrait that's hung on the wall as is. It's her and Daksh's picture where the latter is hugging her, keeping his hand on her waist and she's settled her head on his shoulder.

Now, their son is an exact replica of his dad and she hopes that he'll continue being that. She picks up the duster and cleans the picture. Fresh tears gather in her eyes but she brushes them off as she heard Vineet asking her to freshen up.

She freshens up and changes her clothes, the young lad has already unlocked her suitcase and has kept it in her room. She gets ready while looking at every nook and corner of the room.

On the other hand, Vineet is brewing some water in the electric kettle. His gaze falls on the picture that Ruhana had been holding. He gets another shock as he looks at the picture. Anamika had shown him her family pictures and he recognises the other two people as Anamika's parents. He's shocked and remembers that she had asked him about his mom too.

It is complicated! If they are his mother's friends why is she so angry? Even Anamika shared with him that her parents are hiding something from her and he too feels the same. There's a reason that his mom didn't want to come to India, but now he feels that it is because of the two persons in the picture- Anamika's parents.

He needs to find out the truth, otherwise, it will be difficult for them to tell their parents that they love each other and want to get married. If things are complicated, they need to solve them right away. Vineet has to make sure that his mom isn't hurt more.

He immediately texts Anamika and wishes to meet her. Meanwhile, Devika comes out and Vineet prepares tea for her and coffee for himself. She looks a little sad and so Vineet tries to cheer her up. She smiles a little when he says that he's glad to come here and he feels the essence of his dad in this house.

Well, she feels relieved but it's her sudden decision to go away before her child is born. She didn't want to lose the last thing that Daksh left with her -his own part - their son. Vineet finds her lost and clears his throat.

"Maa, mujhe ek dost se milna hain. Main jaaun?" He asks.

"Kaunsa dost? India aaye hue tujhe 2 ghante hue nahi, aisa kaunsa dost mil gaya?" Devika asks, rolling her eyes at her son.

"Wo Ana....Anuj ...Anuj Saxena - Maa, wo mera batchmate tha New York mein. Usne business ki padhai mere college se hi ki hain." Vineet says hiding the real truth.

"Tu jayega kaise?" she asks, satisfied with his answer.

"Wo...wo Anuj aayega pick karne ke liye. Maine usey hamara address mail kardiya hain, Raghu Kaaka se liya tha." VIneet tells her.

"Thik hain, lekin jaldi aa jana! You know...." Devika says but Vineet cuts her assuring her that he'll be fine.

Devika nods, she doesn't want to keep him in one place but at the same time, she doesn't want to lose him. She allows him and he hugs her out of excitement.

Singhania House

Anamika gets ready, she is going to meet Vineet. Meanwhile, Naina finds her getting ready so she asks her about it. Anamika smiles.

"Mumma! Saumya is asking me to go shopping. Usko kuch cheezein leni hain. Aur uski behen Aanya bhi aa rahi hai. Toh main soch rahi hun chali jaun." Anamika says.

"Acha, toh lunch?" Naina asks.

"Lunch hum bahar hi kar lenge. Aap chinta mat karo, main 4 baje tak wapas aa jaungi." Anamika says.

"Thik hain, Ana. Par agar derr ho jaye toh mujhe bata dena." Naina says affectionately.

"Haan Mumma! Aap chinta na karo. Main wahan pahuch ke bhi aapko bata dungi." Anamika assures her mom and takes her leave.

Anamika takes her favourite car and drives off towards Vineet's home, the address which he messaged her an hour ago. She also messaged him that she was on her way. She reaches outside his society and calls him. He cuts the call and emerges out of the large gate of society. Anamika beams with joy with just his gaze. He hops in the car and she pulls him in a tight hug.

. A few minutes later, she parts the hug and kisses his cheek.

"I missed you, Vineet. And you literally surprised me. Tum akele aaye ho?" She asks.

"Nahi Ana, meri mom aayi hain mere sath." Vineet tells her.

"Wow! I told you Vineet, wo maan jaayengi. Dekho, you're here." Anamika chuckles.

"Han, lekin kuch toh gadbad hain, Anamika. Mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hain." Vineet says.

"Haan Vineet, mujhe bhi aisa hi lagta hain." Anamika says.

"Chalo, pehle yahan se chalte hain, fir batata hoon." Vineet says.

Vineet and Anamika drive towards Cafe Lounge. She parks the car and they occupy a corner seat. Anamika orders two cappuccinos for the two of them and then looks at Vineet.

"Ana, main pichle 25 saal mein aaj pehli baar India aaya hoon aur apne ghar mein bhi. Jahan mere mom dad rehte they." Vineet says.

"You told me that, Vineet. Par aaj itna pareshan kyun ho?" Anamika asks.

"Kyunki mujhe ye mila! And I am sure, kuch toh bahut bada hua hain hamare parents ke beech mein!" Vineet says.

Saying so, he shows her the picture he saw a few hours ago- the picture of Rajveer, Naina and Devika while Anamika is surprised. She also tells him something which leaves Vineet surprised and they know that there's much more to the mystery and they need to solve it.
