Naina and Rajveer are having a conversation when Anamika barges into their room. The young girl is quite suspicious because of the happenings. She has seen her father worried and also taking a name in an unconscious state. Upon asking her mom, Naina makes up a story, and Anamika understands it. Today as well, they were talking about something and when she entered the room, they changed the topic. Rajveer scolds Anamika which comes as a shocker for the girl as her dad never scolds her. Naina comforts her.

"Uska naam Devika hain. Wo meri best friend thi. Ab wo na jaane kahan hain?" Naina says softly.

"Kyun? Wo kahan gayi? Aur aapki best friend hain toh aapne unse baat nahi ki?" Anamika questions.

"Nahi beta! Kuch cheezein aisi hui ki wo yahan se chali gayi. Aur main usko bahut miss karti hoon lekin shayad wo nahi karti. Lagta hain ki wo bahut busy hain aur jo hua uski wajah se wo naraaz hain mujhse." Naina says sadly.

"Kya hua? Aisa kya hain jo mujhe nahi pata?" Anamika looks at her mom and dad.

Naina doesn't reply and so Anamika hugs her mother and kisses her cheek. Naina taps her head softly. Meanwhile, her eyes fell on Naina's phone and a picture is opened on the phone. Anamika is shocked at the moment.

"She's your friend?" She asks.

"Haan beta! Yahi Devika hain, meri dost. Jo ab mujhse bahut door hain." Naina says sadly.

Anamika looks at her mother in astonishment, trying to process the information she has just received. She opens her phone and checks a picture- it is Vineet's display picture on the online messaging app. Anamika finds the same picture in Vineet's picture and somehow she knows that the lady is Vineet's mother and her mum's best friend. But she can't say it aloud to her parents. She doesn't know the whole thing and she can't take any step without learning the reality.

She takes a picture of the old picture from her mum's phone and comforts her. Anamika knows that it's hard to comfort her mom but she has to do it, somehow.

"Mumma, aap udaas mat ho. I feel wo aapko dobara zaroor milegi. Aap unko itna yaad karti ho toh!" Anamika says innocently causing Naina to smile a little.

"Wo shayad ab kabhi nahi milegi, Ana! Jo kuch hua hain uske baad wo kabhi mujhe aur tere dadda ko maaf nahi karegi." Naina says absent-mindedly.

"Kya hua tha? Aur wo aap dono se gussa kyun hain?" She asks out of curiosity.

"Ana, ye sab tumhe jaanne ki zaroorat nahi hain. Come on, go and freshen up." Rajveer says softly, trying to control his anger.

"Why dadda? Please batao na. Aur aap itna gusse mein kyun ho?" Anamika asks, she wants to know everything now.

" Anaa..." Rajveer takes her name firmly but before he could say anything to is daughter, Naina convinces her.

"Anu, main tujhe sab bataungi. Lekin sahi waqt aane par. Please, abhi jaake ready ho ja. Hume market jana hain." Naina says, trying to divert her daughter's attention.

Anamika looks at her parents, she knows they are hiding something and they won't tell her anything even if she asks, so she walks out of the room with the picture on her phone. She is pretty sure that the lady is Vineet's mum as he usually puts his picture with his mum on his WhatsApp account. Anamika rushes to her room and sends the picture to Vineet asking if it is his mum and then moves to freshen up. She knows, he will reply back as soon as he sees it.

On the other hand, Naina confronts Raj again and warns him that he should realise his mistake soon. Though the worse is already done and nothing could be changed now. Yet, they should always try. Maybe, an apology will work. Or if not, they can just remain acquaintances. Naina thinks so, unknown of the storm that is heading towards them. Naina leaves the room to prepare breakfast for the family leaving Rajveer in deep thoughts.

Devika and Vineet land in India. Yep, they took an overnight flight from New York to Mumbai.

She is perplexed at the moment, for, she has returned to her home country after 25 years. She's still scared of bumping into her frenemies at the moment. Yep, they were her friends but now they're enemies -not at all on talking terms. She's looking around when Vineet holds her hands.

"Maa, everything will be fine. Main hoon na!" Vineet says squeezing her hand.

"Lekin tu mujhse promise kar yahan tu sirf ghumega aur mujhe bina bataye kahin nahi jayega." Devika looks at him.

"Han Maa. I promise. Don't worry! Ab chalo, ghar chalte hain. I am excited." He says excitedly and Ruhana can't help but smile at his excitement.

They take their luggage and walk out of the airport. They hire a taxi and move to their home. It's a society named Happy Home. The cab stops at the gate and Vineet takes out the luggage. They enter the society premises and Devika experiences some nice vibes, maybe, because she's back to her home --her own space with Daksh. The old watchman recognizes her.

"Tum Ruhana ho na?" he asks.

"Haan! Aapne pehchan liya?" Even Devika is surprised to see the man who has also aged gracefully.

"Kaise nahi pehchanunga? Lekin itne saalon baad yahan? Mujhe toh laga tha ki aap kabhi nahi aayengi." The man named Raghu says.

"Main nahi aana chahti thi lekin bachon ke aage jhukna padta hain. Ye mera beta hain , Vineet. " She introduces Vineet to the old man.

"Arey, ye toh bilkul ...." He says but pauses.

"Jaanti hoon, bilkul apne Papa ki tarah dikhta hain." Devika says and Raghu nods softly.

Devika smiles and the man is gracious to help them with their luggage. She also asks him to send a packet of milk and bread to their flat. Raghu agrees and they take a lift to the first floor. Their home is right after the stairs-flat number 101. Devika looks at the flat and cleans the dust of the nameplate with her dupatta. There's one name on the nameplate.

She gets emotional but Vineet keeps his hands on her shoulder. She smiles at her son who makes a funny face.

"Emotional rahogi toh hamare flat mein baaadh aa jayegi." He says funnily and she slaps his cheek lightly.

She takes out the keys and opens the door. As she enters inside, nothing has changed therein. Everything is intact in its place except for the dust that has settled upon everything.

Vineet looks at his mom looking around the house fondly. He knows that she's remembering the times when she was younger and was living happily with his dad. He looks at his mother who is roaming around the house, reminiscing the past moments. Meanwhile, the doorbell rings bringing Devika out of her trance and Vineet opens the door. He finds the watchman holding packets of milk and bread. Vineet takes the packets and gives him the money but the man said that he should pay it to the shop on the ground floor. Vineet agrees and thanks the old man. He leaves them to themselves and Vineet keeps the things on the table that his mother has just cleaned. He hears his mom calling him.

"Vineet, chal ab jaldi se kaam pe lag ja. Tujhe yahan rehna hain toh safai bhi karni padegi." She says.

"Han, karta hoon na. Bas apne doston ko message kardun ki hum pahunch gaye hain." Vineet says softly.

She agrees and gets busy with her work. She wants to make this place home again and by now, she wants to cherish all the old moments that she spent with her late husband. She clears the kitchen first while Vineet also helps her in arranging the hall room.

Devika moves into her room and realises old memories flashing in her eyes. Tears escaped her eyes and at the same time, her eyes fall on a photo frame and she suddenly gets angry. She murmurs something in anger unaware that her son is listening to all of it and will question her about the same.
