On that day Akshadh went to the farmhouse to reminisce all his precious memories. He stayed there for long. Dhiya's smile followed wherever he goes in that home. He felt warmth in his heart. He ignored all the phone calls that he received on that day. Only he picked up his maa's call and after informing, he switched off the phone.

In the evening he went to meet his friend Rahul Sharma. He was his school friend. After talking to him for two hours he felt a bit of relaxation.

At night, he reached the home. Janu and his maa were waiting for him in the doorsteps. He parked his bike and enter inside without even had a glance at Janu.

Janu went inside the kitchen to pick up the varieties that they have prepared on that day. Then, she arranged everything in the dining table.

Akshadh's maa took him to a private place and questioned, "Is it right? Do you have anything in your head, Akshadh? It is the first day after your wedding. You should be at home but you didn't. Can't you pick up the mobile at least? Do you know how much it makes me and her worried?" She was fuming in anger with a lot of questions.

"Maa, I was busy," he replied shortly.

"Don't lie. When did you learn to lie? Where did you go today is my another question but it is not the right time to discuss here. Refresh and come back soon at least from now don't hurt that soul," she requested and walked towards Janu showing a faint smile.

After fifteen minutes, Akshadh and Siddharth came down.

"Janu, you sit next to Akshu. Let me fill food for you people," she said kindly. Akshadh turned his face in anger.

"No aunt, you sit and take the food. It is the time for you to take medicines," Janu said caringly.

"No Betti, today is your first day after your marriage. I wish to see you both eating together," Janu understood her feelings and she was about to sit. Akshadh gained annoyance to the core hearing their converse.

"Maa, you sit and we shall eat together as usual," Akshadh's forced his maa to sit and they filled the dishes in all their plates.

Few of the dishes were new and Akshadh could easily recognize it that it was not prepared by his maa. He ignored the food which was not prepared by his maa. Janu noticed everything and had the food silently.

"Janu, very nice. You have cooked very well. My taste buds are begging me to eat more.. I loved it," Akshadh's maa complimented. Janu smiled.

Akshadh moved away making himself deaf and washed his hands. Then, Siddhu followed Akshadh. Both the brothers watched the TV for sometimes. The ladies pick up the empty vessels to the kitchen and Janu washed it after giving medicines to her mother in law. Akshadh maa wished to talk to Akshadh but what if he says something negatively? It may spoil Janu's peace. He will change slowly with her love. It is the time for him to give space. She consoled herself and dozed off.

On that day night, Akshadh laid in bed and Janu was laying down. His thoughts, "Why this brainless woman (Janu) torchering me to the core? Can't she see the couch present aside? She is mad completely and now why is she acting to this core? She will go to any extreme to achieve her desire. Let her and I don't bother. Even I show grace for my enemy but I can't in case of her. I would divorce her as soon as possible and make her sleep comfortably in her home (I mean in her home)"

Janu's thoughts, "At least, Akshadh didn't spit out for spoiling his life. His humanity level is very high.. How could a woman miss a person like Akshadh? I can't even in my dreams"

The next morning,

Janu woke up earlier than Akshadh. After taking bath she went to the kitchen to support her mother in law to prepare breakfast. Almost they completed and Akshadh was ready to go to the hospital. He didn't even bother to have breakfast as he pretended like he was very busy. He bid bye to his maa after convincing her by having a glass of milk. Janu felt worried for Akshadh for skipping the breakfast. She had very little food afterwards. Then, she cleaned the mess and started cutting veggies to prepare lunch.

Usually, The maid took the lunch to the hospital for Akshadh but today after preparing the lunch, Janu requested her mother in law to allow her to take his lunch to his working place. Akshadh's maa didn't deny and Janu used his car to go to the hospital.

Janu reached the hospital and she phoned Akshadh. As usual, he didn't pick up. Then, she queried the staff nurse and she took her to his cabin.

After the rounds, just now Akshadh entered his cabin. After sitting comfortably he laid his head back on the chair and closed his eyes. Without an alarm, Janu entered in and Akshadh opened his eyes hearing the sound. He stood up angrily after observing for a second.

"Akshadh, lunch," she initiated before he opens.

"Who are you to take lunch? Don't take any advantage to meet me. Let this be the first and last time, mind it," he fumed in anger.

"I am your wife and it is my duty to take," she talked about her rights in a normal tone.

"You are so-called as wife. Never! Ever! You can't achieve that status in my life," he scoffed.

"Nope. You will change Akshadh. This too shall pass.," She said confidently.

"Obviously, this will pass and you will pass from my life. Hopefully, you will repent for your mistakes," He too said confidently.

After pausing for a minute, Janu replied, "I am not here to argue. Please don't show your anger on me in food. I can't tell this before your maa she may get hurt if our conversation remains audible to her so only I came here," 

Akshadh sensed a meaningful sentence from her for the first time.

"Ok but a condition,"

"What?" She asked happily for getting a positive sign from him.

"Don't bring lunch here and don't need to prepare food for me. I will free you from the relationship within three months,"

Her happiness fades away. She didn't stand there for a second. She took the lunch and gave it to the beggar who was standing in the roadside. She decided to be calm so that Akshadh won't open his mouth. If he opens, he talks only about divorce. She shouldn't want to hear those words from him.

Two weeks passed quickly. Janu would rarely prepare the food. She became very close to his maa than before. Akshadh's maa started noticing the gap between the couples.

Akshadh was worried about Dhiya and Allen. He phoned Dhiya but her phone was switched off. He used to try for three or more times per day but her phone remained switched off. Akshadh seems to be dull and a soul without a life.

On that day night,

Akshadh was about to go to his room. He stopped hearing the converse of Janu and his maa.

"Janu, Are you happy really?" Akshadh's maa asked in a worried tone. Within two weeks Janu ruled her with love.

"Aunt, Do you know what? Sorry for hiding this to you,. I thought of saying to you but something stopped me" Janu said with tears as Janu wish to be genuine with her mother in law. Janu understood that her mother in law is worried about their relationship. She wished her mother in law should know the truth so that she would understand the situation and the gap between them.

"What?" His maa staggered.

"Akshadh has a love affair. He loves someone blindly. He told me about it before the marriage itself but I ignored it completely because I love him to the core,.I took steps to detach his relationship but everything went in vain finally I asked the wedding promise from you. You keep up the promise and thank you aunt" Akshadh maa stood shockingly without moving an inch.

Akshadh heard everything, Promise? Did this woman block my maa by the promise? This woman always puts me in an unhappy state and now I understood she gamed with my family.  It is her only job. Did she use to think it daily like how to irritate me?
