CHAPTER TWENTY, hearing aid & wrecking ball
(delaney's outfit for this chapter)
Delaney walked into Sonic Boom, the familiar scent of music, vinyl, and old-school tech filling the air. Ally and Finn were already lounging by the counter, Ally's long blonde hair pulled back into a messy bun as she fiddled with her phone, while Finn leaned against the counter, his trademark smirk lighting up his face. Dez and Carrie were sitting in a corner, joking around, their laughter filling the space in the laid-back way only they could.
Delaney hesitated for a moment at the door, her stomach turning slightly. This was the first time in days she was going to talk to them about what was going on. Austin had insisted she not keep it bottled up, that they deserved to know, that she deserved the support. But still, the fear lingered. She approached the group, putting on a brave face, but even the act felt like a stretch.
"Hey, guys," She greets, trying to sound casual, even though her heart was hammering in her chest. "What's up?"
"Not much, just the usual chaos," Ally replies, her tone light but there was a hint of concern in her eyes. "But you've been MIA lately. Everything okay?"
Delaney shifts from foot to foot, not sure how to start, how to explain the whirlwind of emotions that had been running through her. She takes a breath and then let it out slowly, glancing over at Austin, who had followed her inside and was waiting near the door, giving her the space to do this on her own. She let the words come out in a rush. "I haven't been hanging out because...Well, because I've been dealing with something. It's...It's my hearing. I've got some hearing loss in my left ear. The doctors say it's permanent." She pauses, her voice faltering for a moment. "It's been hard to adjust, and I just...Didn't know how to tell you guys."
The room fell silent for a beat. Dez, bless his heart, blinked a few times, processing the information, and then grins. "Wait, so if you can only hear out of one ear, does that mean you've got a built-in excuse for ignoring all of Ally's boring lectures about proper rehearsal technique?" Carrie swatted at him, but Delaney let out a small, genuine laugh, some of the tension easing from her shoulders.
Ally put a hand on her hip, looking offended. "Hey! My lectures are educational!"
Finn grins. "Yeah, educationally boring." He chuckles when Ally pouts at him. "You're still adorable, babe." He assures his girlfriend, leaning in to give her a quick peck on the cheek. Ally rolls her eyes but couldn't hide the small smile that tugged at her lips. Finn looks over at Delaney with a reassuring expression. "Delaney, we've all got your back, okay? Hearing out of one ear doesn't change a thing. We're still the same group. You don't have to go through this alone." Everyone agreed without hesitation.
Delaney felt her throat tighten, but this time it wasn't from fear or sadness — it was from relief. She blinks quickly, trying to keep the sudden sting of tears at bay. "Thanks, you guys," She said, her voice a little shaky but full of gratitude. "I was so scared that..I don't know, that things would feel different. That I'd feel different."
Carrie gave her a warm smile and looped her arm through Delaney's. "Different doesn't mean bad, Del. You're still you, and that's all that matters."
Delaney returns the smile, her heart lighter than it had been in weeks. She looks around at her friends, each one standing there with an expression of unwavering support. "I just didn't want to ruin anything with Ally's album release party coming up and with what's going on with the store." She had found out from Austin before checking in with Ally about her dad selling the music store to focus on his passion of painting. She couldn't believe he was selling the store. It had been there for years, it wasn't going to be the same without it.
"Del," Ally said softly, putting a hand on her shoulder. "You aren't ruining anything and aren't a burden, you wouldn't be either of those things either if you had told us before we knew about my dad selling the store." Ally's voice was steady, filled with the sincerity that always seemed to reach Delaney, no matter how heavy the conversation. "You never have to carry things like this alone, especially not with us. We're a team, remember?"
Delaney nods feeling the warmth of Ally's words sink in. The group had always been there for each other, supporting each other through the highs and the lows, and this felt no different. She didn't need to shoulder the weight by herself anymore. It was a comfort she hadn't realized she was missing. "Thanks, guys, you're the best." She said, her voice filled with warmth and gratitude, laughing when Dez called out for a group hug and pulled them all together.
Austin, who stands by her, leans over to kiss the top of her head. "I told you that you didn't have to worry about anything." He whispers softly, his hand brushing her back in a comforting gesture. "You don't ever have to carry things like this on your own." She smiled fondly, her heart skipping a beat as she leaned into his touch.
She smiled fondly, her heart skipping a beat as she leaned into his touch. The warmth of his words wrapped around her like a safety net, and for the first time in a long while, Delaney felt a sense of peace. With her friends and Austin by her side, she knew that no matter what challenges came her way, she wouldn't have to face them alone. There was strength in their support, and that was more than enough to help her navigate through the uncertain days ahead. As she looked around at the faces of the people who cared about her, Delaney felt a quiet sense of hope rise within her—things were going to be okay.

Delaney sat at Shredder's Beach Club with Austin and her friends, sitting next to Austin. His arm was around her shoulders on the back of her chair, thumb rubbing her shoulder. She fiddled lightly with the edge of her hearing aid — a new addition that she was still getting used to. It had only been a day since she'd started wearing it, and everything sounded sharper, clearer, almost overwhelming at times. There were moments when she caught herself flinching at loud laughter or the clatter of silverware, but Austin's steady presence beside her helped her stay calm.
"Messing with it isn't gonna help." Austin murmured to her when he spotted her fidgeting with the device again, his voice low and teasing but gentle. His hand moved to gently grab hers to intertwine their hands together, giving hers a squeeze.
She sighs. "I know," She mumbles, resting her head lightly against his shoulder. "It's just...Hard not to mess with it. I'm not used to having this thing in my ear, it feels weird."
Austin gave her hand another squeeze. "Just give it time," He said softly. "It'll get more comfortable. And if not, there are other options."
Delaney nodded, grateful for his understanding. The sound of laughter and the ocean crashing in the distance felt louder now, but somehow less frightening. It was strange, being able to hear the world more clearly just like before. Though this time it felt like a new world she had to adjust to, one that was a bit more intense than before. The laughter, the chatter, the clinking of glasses—all the little sounds that used to fade into the background now felt almost overwhelming. Yet, with Austin beside her, offering a steady presence, the discomfort didn't feel as intimidating.
"Well, we should probably get ready for Ally's record release party." Austin chimes in moments later after a comfortable silence had fallen over the group. "We've only got a couple hours."
"It's so hard to celebrate when I know Sonic Boom is being demolished." Ally admits. But then she perks up. "Maybe it's not too late to save it. I just need to talk to Ms. Krum."
"Mhm, if you talk to her, tell her to bring over more cookies. We're almost out." Dez added eagerly, his voice slightly muffled as he finished the cookie he was eating. The group had a half of box of cookies on the table in front of them from Ms. Krum, the woman who was going to buy Sonic Boom.
Trish looks at him with disbelief. "Don't you feel bad knowing what that lady is gonna do to Sonic Boom?"
"No." Dez shook his head and got himself another cookie.
Austin gets another cookie too. "Me either. They're awesome. Babe, you gotta try these." He handed Delaney one of the cookies.
Delaney laughs, the sound still strange and new in her own ears as it rang clearer than she was used to. She takes the cookie from Austin with a smile, their fingers brushing briefly, sending a familiar flutter through her chest. "Thanks," She said. She broke off a small piece and popped it into her mouth, the sweetness of the cookie melting on her tongue. "Okay, yeah...I get it now," She admits in awe. "These are incredible."
"How are they so good?" Finn muttered, staring at the half bitten cookie he held with awe and disbelief.
"Maybe if we just find something Ms. Krum loves to do besides selling boxes." Ally suggests. Yeah, of all things Ms. Krum wanted to do was turn the music store to a box store. Delaney thought Ally had been joking when she was told that. Ally wasn't joking. "We just have to come up with what that is."
"Guys," Trish rolls her eyes, annoyance laced in her voice as the boys chewed their cookies annoying loudly. "Stop eating Ms. Krum's cookies. We can't concentrate."
"That's it!" Ally perks up. "She loves to bake cookies. I think I have an idea. Finn, come with me, we got calls to make. Trish, add Ms. Krum to the guest list and rent a big desert table for the party."
"I'm on it." Trish replied immediately as Finn finished his cookie before standing up, offering a hand to Ally. She took it with a smile, squeezing his hand before walking away with him.
Austin glances over at Delaney to see her messing with the hearing aid again, her leg bouncing now. "Come on." He stood, grabbing her and gently tugging her up to her feet. Delaney blinked up at him, startled at first, but the soft look in his eyes melted away any hesitation. She let him guide her away from the table, her heart pounding not from anxiety this time, but from the comfort he effortlessly offered.
"Where are we going?" Delaney asked, her voice a mix of curiosity and confusion.
"Figured we could spend some time just us before the party." Austin replied with a smile.
Delaney tilts her head slightly, a small smile curving her lips as she looked at Austin, intrigued by his suggestion. "Just us?" She echoes, her heart fluttering a little more, her nervous energy shifting to excitement. "Like a date?" She asked softly, a hint of playfulness in her tone.
Austin grins, his eyes sparkling with that familiar warmth that always made Delaney feel at ease. "Yeah, exactly. Just us. We can grab a snack, maybe go for a walk, and talk about whatever. No distractions." He said, his voice soft but sincere.
Delane felt her nerves quiet under the steady comfort of his words. She nodded, the corner of her mouth lifting into a more genuine smile this time. "Yeah, that sounds great." As they made their way out of the room, Delaney found herself appreciating the simple comfort of Austin's presence. It was moments like these—small, unexpected ones—that made everything feel just a little bit easier.

Soon it was time for Ally's album release party. Sonic Boom was decorated with shimmering lights, streamers, and music-themed decorations. Paintings her dad had made were displayed as well for people to buy some The familiar space was transformed into something magical, bittersweet with the possibility of it being the last big event held there. Delaney stepped inside, momentarily overwhelmed by the vibrant energy—the loud music, the laughter, the buzz of conversations—all amplified now in her newly adjusted hearing world. But she held onto Austin's hand a little tighter, anchoring herself.
He leans in close so she could hear him better. "You okay?"
Delaney nods, taking a deep breath to steady herself as the overwhelming sounds swirled around her. The lights, the voices, the music—it was all a lot to take in, even more so now that she was adjusting to the world through her newly fitted hearing aid. But with Austin by her side, she felt grounded. She gave him a soft smile, a reassuring look. "Yeah, it's a lot, but...I'm okay," She replies, her voice soft but confident. "I think I'm getting used to it. Slowly."
Austin smiles fondly, brushing his thumb lightly over the back of her hand. "I'm proud of you, babe." He whispered, his voice full of tenderness and admiration. "You're handling this like a pro."
Delaney's cheeks warms at his words, the soft praise filling her with a sense of accomplishment she hadn't quite expected. She squeezes his hand in return, grateful for the steady presence he offered. "Thanks, Austin."
Jett Deely then steps up to them with his signature charm and a microphone in hand, already mid-laugh as he approached. "Now this is what I call a power couple entrance!" Jett grins, clearly delighted. His camera crew followed closely behind, catching the moment in real-time for the live stream. "Austin Moon and Delaney Ellington—can we just take a second to appreciate the coordinated slay happening here?"
Delaney blinks, eyes widening just slightly at the unexpected attention. But Austin gave her hand a reassuring squeeze, and she let herself smile, even laughing softly as the camera panned to them. "You two planned this, right?" Jett gestures playfully to Austin's sleek dark red blazer and Delaney's sparkly, flowy red dress that shimmered under the lights. "Matching and looking like actual pop royalty. Bonus points for the sneakers, by the way." He added, gesturing to their matching shoes as well.
Austin grins, tugging Delaney just a little closer as he nods. "We didn't exactly plan it," He says with a chuckle. "But when we realized we matched, we figured—why not roll with it?"
Delaney gives a soft laugh, her nerves now almost completely gone. "Honestly, it kind of just worked out. But I'm not complaining." She added, her eyes flicking up to meet Austin's, the quiet affection there grounding her in the chaos around them.
"Yeah, me neither, Laney." Austin smiled fondly at her, leaning down to kiss the side of her head, squeezing her hand. Butterflies fluttered in Delaney's chest at the gesture, her heart skipping a beat. She could feel the warmth of his affection even amid the loud chatter and flashing lights. She leaned up to kiss his cheek, gaining a shy smile in return.
Jett dramatically fans himself. "Okay, okay—stop being so adorable, it's too much!" He teases, earning sheepish and shy smiles from the couple. "And Delaney, I've gotta say—you're absolutely glowing tonight. It's your first big event like this since your hearing adjustment, right?"
Delaney nodded, feeling a rush of pride at his words. It was the first major event she had been to since adjusting, and it felt like a big milestone. The world felt different now, more intense and chaotic, but in a good way. The new clarity and detail were like a gift, and she was slowly learning how to navigate the change. Delaney had recently announced to the public about her hearing problem and she had been grateful and relieved for all the love and support she received.
She smiles softly, her voice calm but filled with gratitude. "Yeah, it's definitely a big change. I'm still getting used to all the sounds, but it's...Kind of amazing, too. It feels like I'm hearing things I've never noticed before, and it's a little overwhelming at times, but I'm starting to embrace it."
Jett's expression softens, and he leans in slightly, clearly moved by her words. "That's incredible, Delaney. Honestly, you're handling it all like a pro. Everyone is rooting for you, and we can't wait to see what comes next. You two, have fun, and enjoy the party!"
The two give a little wave as Jett heads off, the crowd quickly moving on, and Delaney lets out a sigh of relief, laughing a little. "That was a lot, but...It felt good."
"It did." Austin agrees. He glances over at her, his expression tender. "So, want to get something to drink and then we can head over to the desert table? I heard there are cookies."
Delaney grins, her heart skipping a beat at his playful tone. "Well, in that case, lead the way, babe."
Meanwhile, Finn had been chatting with his girlfriend. "Ready to have that interview with Jett Deely?" He asks curiously, leaning against the counter by her with a smile. "Just remember what Austin and Delaney taught you, no rambling."
Ally laughs softly, bumping his shoulder gently. "I know. I think I've got it."
Finn raises an eyebrow, giving her a playful smirk. "I'll believe it when I see it." He chuckles, but there's a warmth in his voice, and he squeezes her hand affectionately. "You're going to do great. Just be yourself." Ally smiled fondly at him, her face flushing at his response.
"Ally," Jett Deely greets, walking over to the couple with a smile, his cameraman following him. "Congrats on the debut album. Are you ready to start our interview?"
"Oh, not yet, I just need a sec-"
"And we're live." Jett interrupts her. Ally looks at Finn nervously, who squeezes her hand he held, giving her a reassuring smile. "So, Ally, tell us what it was like making your first record."
"It was a lot of work, Jett, but I think my fans are really gonna love it. My favorite song is 'Parachute' which I'll be playing here tonight." Ally explained with a smile.
"Excellent." Jett comments. "Now, that song wouldn't be about anyone in particular, say your boyfriend? Mr. Finley Hawthorne?" He teased, the camera panning over to Finn, who leaned against the counter by where Ally and Jett stood. Finn froze when he was on camera, not expecting the sudden attention. He flashed a brief, awkward smile, but the spotlight made him a bit self-conscious.
"Oh, Jett, tonight's about my music, not about my personal life. If my fans really want to hear what's in my heart, they can buy my album online starting tomorrow." Ally replied professionally, glancing over at Finn with a smile and squeezing his hand in an attempt to soothe his nerves.
"Good to know." Jett smiles. "So, Finn," Jett's attention shifted back to Finn, the camera following his every move. "What's it like being in a relationship with someone as talented and driven as Ally? You must have a front-row seat to the magic she creates."
Finn blinks, caught off guard by the question, and suddenly, the spotlight felt a little too heavy. He opens his mouth, trying to keep it cool, but his nerves kicked in, and he felt himself rambling. "Well, uh, it's honestly—it's amazing, you know? Like, seeing Ally work so hard on her music, it's, uh, really inspiring. She's so passionate about everything she does, and, like, when she's performing, it's like watching someone, uh, pour their heart out to the world, you know? I mean, it's not just the music, it's—well, um, it's everything about her. She's got this energy that just...I don't know...Lights up a room. I—uh, sorry, I'm rambling, aren't I?"
Jett raises an eyebrow, an amused smile on his face. "Well, Finn, looks like you've got a lot to say there." He turns to the camera, a playful twinkle in his eye. "Guess the spotlight makes us all a little nervous, huh?"
Finn could feel his cheeks burn, embarrassed at how much he'd just said—and how much of it hadn't come out as smoothly as he wanted. He clears his throat, flashing a sheepish grin as he rubs the back of his neck. "I think I need to work on my interview skills."
"Okay, we'll be right back to see Ally preform." Jett waved to the camera, signaling the end of the live segment.
As the cameras stopped rolling and the crew began to pack up, Jett turns to Finn, his amusement clear. "Okay, man, what the heck was that? You should take interview lessons from her." He said, his voice full of disbelief and laughter.
Finn's face turns an even deeper shade of red, and he rubs the back of his neck awkwardly. "I didn't mean to go off like that. I guess I got a little carried away."
Ally looks at him with amusement and crossed arms after Jett walked away his cameraman. "What can I say, some of us have it, some of us don't."
Finn groans, slouching just a bit as he looked over at her with a pout. "Ouch. You're really gonna hit me with that after I just poured my heart out on national television?"
Ally laughs, her eyes dancing with affection. "You did pour your heart out, I'll give you that. Very sweet. Slightly chaotic, but sweet."
He narrows his eyes playfully. "Slightly? I blacked out halfway through. Was I speaking English?"
"Mostly," She teases, stepping closer and slipping her hand into his again. "But seriously, babe, it was adorable. You kind of stole the spotlight, in your own flustered, rambling way."
"In my defense, I didn't plan on getting interviewed." He laughs awkwardly, still feeling the warmth in his cheeks. "I thought I was just coming to support you, not become part of the show."
Ally smiles, giving him a reassuring squeeze of his hand. "I know. I was surprised, too. But hey, you handled it really well." She leaned in and kissed his cheek gently. "And for the record, you are very cute when you ramble."
"Yeah?" He asked softly, a gentle blush returning to his face. He brushed a strand of her hair out of her face, his expression growing softer.
"Yeah." She breathed out, her gaze meeting his. They lingered there for a moment, the rest of the party fading into the background, lost in each other's eyes. They were starting to lean in, only pausing and pulling back when a familiar voice spoke to Ally.
"Thank you so much for inviting me to your party, dear. I love to watch people eat my cookies." Ms. Krum admitted, joining the couple and holding a tray of the cookies she made for the party.
"You know what you should do?" Austin had walked over to the trio, holding hands with Delaney. "Forget the box store and open up a food truck."
"That's a great idea, Austin." Trish went along with the plan. "But where oh where will she find a food truck? Oh, I know! The burger guy in the parking lot is selling his truck"
"But where oh where will we find his number?" Austin continues, pretending to be confused as he walked over to Ms. Krum. He then pulls out a card. "Oh, I know. I have his card."
"But where oh where will she find a phone to call him with?" Dez asks, reaching into his pants, pausing with confusion when he pulled out a milk carton. Delaney and Finn exchanges a look of disbelief and amusement as Dez continues. "Man, I left my phone in my other pants."
"Of course you did." Finn mused.
"Milk?" Dez offered the milk to Ms. Krum.
"Oh, I see what you kids are doing. You want me to sell Sonic Boom back to Lester. Do you think I am foolish enough to give up the security of a box store to pursue my childish dreams of selling cookies?" Ms. Krum asked in disbelief.
Everyone nods as they sheepishly smiles. "That's what we were kind of hoping." Austin confessed.
"Well, it's not gonna work. I will take the milk however. That'll go good with the cookies." Ms. Krum added, smiling at Dez after taking the milk and walking away.
Austin sighs. "We tried."
Delaney frowns, leaning into Austin. 'Well, that didn't go as planned."
Trish looks at Ally with sympathy. "Sorry, Ally."
"Hey...This is the biggest night of my life. We shouldn't be sad." Ally reassured her boyfriend and friends, trying to stay positive.
"You're right." Trish agrees, smiling at her. "Come on, it's time for you to preform."
Finn squeezes Ally's hand gently, giving her a warm, reassuring smile. "You've got this. No matter what happened with Ms. Krum, tonight's still your night. I love you, and I know you're going to blow everyone away."
Blush warms her cheeks as she gazes at him, the warmth of his words and the depth of his affection wrapping around her like a cozy blanket. She smiles back, her expression tender. "I love you, too." She murmured, her eyes dancing with adoration. She squeezed his hand before walking away to the stage to get ready to preform.
"There are a few people I want to thank for this night. My friends, my loving and amazing boyfriend, and most importantly, my dad, who always encouraged me to follow my dreams." Ally explains, now sat at a piano on stage with the crowd gathered around the stage. She then starts playing her favorite song on the album on the piano before she starts singing. "I remember life before, far away dreams and locking doors. Then you came, then you came..."
****
As Ally finishes the last note of the song, the crowd erupts into applause, their cheers echoing in the room. The spotlight feels a little brighter, the energy of the room infectious. She looks out into the crowd, a mix of gratitude and happiness filling her heart. But it's Finn's gaze that she searches for, his eyes full of pride and admiration. Ally's smile widened as Finn approached her, his steps confident, and when he reaches the piano, he pulls her gently into an embrace. Before she can say anything, he kissed her softly, the warmth of the kiss melting away any lingering nerves. When they pull apart, his eyes are full of admiration.
"You were incredible," Finn whispers, his voice low and full of emotion. "I'm so proud of you, Ally. You blew everyone away. You are amazing."
Ally's cheeks flush a deep pink, her heart fluttering in her chest at the sincerity in his voice. "I couldn't have done it without you. You've always believed in me, Finn."
Finn smiles, his hand gently cupping her face. "I always will." He presses a kiss to her forehead, his eyes never leaving hers. "You're not just talented, Ally. You're one of the most incredible people I know, and tonight just proves that."
Ally feels her heart swell with affection for him. Her eyes glisten as she leaned in and kissed him again, this time more deeply, her lips melding with his in a way that says everything they don't need to say aloud. The room continues to buzz around them, but for that moment, it's just the two of them—connected, in love, and basking in the glow of the night they'll always remember.
****
"That was wonderful, dear." Ms. Krum had found Ally in the midst of her chatting with her boyfriend and friends and her dad. Ally looked surprised but then thankful, smiling appreciatively at her.
"See, Ms. Krum? Dreams do come true." Austin commented with a smile.
"Oh, yeah , sure. We should all just quit our practical jobs in order to pursue our childish dreams because it feels good." Ms. Krum mockingly said. The group exchanges an unsure, and slightly disappointed, glance. "Well..That's exactly what I'm gonna do!" She surprised the group by announcing this. "I'm going into the cookie business!" Everyone brightens at that revelation. "Lester!"
"Yeah?" Lester asked hopefully, walking over to her.
"You can have the store back." Ms. Krum grinned at him and offered a high five. Lester returned the grin and high fived back. The friend group celebrated excitedly and Ally then ran over to hug her dad.
"Now, I just need someone to work here for Ally." Lester smiled.
"I've got just the person." Dez admits, smiling at Carrie. "Right, Carrie?"
"Oh, yeah." Carrie replies with a grin. "Trish, I think he means you." Trish looked at her with confusion.
Dez sympathetically smiles at his girlfriend. "Maybe I should do the talking." Carrie agreed and followed Dez over to Lester, the three stepping to the side to talk.
"You got the store back." Austin smiled at Ally.
Delaney smiles warmly at Ally, her eyes sparkling. "That's amazing, Ally. I'm so happy for you!"
"Now it's really the happiest night of my life." Ally beamed.
"I'm so happy for you, babe." Finn smiled at her and pulled her in for a hug, his arms wrapped around her comfortingly. Ally melted into his touch, her head resting on his shoulder. Trish awkwardly walked away, saying she was going to get another cookie. Austin had pulled Delaney away too, offering her a dance. Delaney smiled as she danced with her boyfriend.
"I'm glad they got the store back. It wouldn't be the same without it." She said softly.
"Definitely." Austin agrees, twirling her before pulling her close again. "You look incredible, by the way. Like absolutely stunning." He added, his voice full of admiration as he gazed at her. Delaney's heart fluttered at his compliment, and she blushed, a shy smile creeping onto her lips.
"You already told me that, silly." She teased, but her cheeks flushed at his words, and she felt a rush of gratitude.
Austin chuckles, his arms pulling her even closer. "I know, but it's worth repeating. You're just too gorgeous to not mention it again."
Butterflies swarms her stomach at his words, and her heart skipped a beat. Delaney gazed up at him, her cheeks pink, and suddenly, the rest of the party faded away. She reached up, gently touching his cheek, and he turned his head, his lips brushing against her palm. Her heart fluttered at the action. "You're quite handsome yourself." She murmurs, her voice full of affection. "I love you."
He smiles at her, his eyes filled with warmth and admiration. "I love you, too, Laney."
Just as they were about to lean in to kiss, suddenly a loud whirring noise and a panicked voice calling out gains everyone's attention. "Oh, dear! I forgot to call off the wrecking ball!"
Delaney shares a panicked and disbelief look with Austin as screams filled the air. "Run for your life!" Lester called out and everyone rushed out of the way to avoid getting hit.
Lester walks over in disbelief, picking up his ruined paintings. "My giraffes!" He called out in disbelief and frustration, hitting the wrecking ball,
Dez joins him, pulling a cookie out of his pocket. "Cookie?" Lester looked at him in disbelief but he still took the cookie with a shrug.
Delaney got out of her hiding place behind the counter with the others and stares at the gaping hole in the wall, her mouth slightly open in disbelief and eyes wide as dust settled around the once-cozy music store. "Well, that escalated quickly."
Finn nods in agreement, glancing at them all with a sheepish look. "I guess this is the part where we say...At least we still have each other?"
A/N this will be the end of season 3 yay :) im gonna skip the last episode in season 3 & the first 2 to just go to when they have the a&a music factory !
