The next dawn broke, I packed up my things and hurried downstairs, suddenly I felt someone pull me by my wrist,

"Hola minion! Where are you going?" Mike asked me in his usual tone.

My eyes started to blur when I saw him flashing his bright smile and eyes at me,

"What?" I asked him in a cold tone.

"I want to confess to someone, can you suggest me some ideas?" he asked.

I was literally breaking into pieces, how- how can he? I was trying hard to control my rushing tears.

"Just leave" I replied and was trying to move away from the place, but he was still holding my hand.

"Just suggest me few tips Mina, I wanna confess to the girl I love the most, I thought you would be glad to help me" he replied smiling.

"Enough Mander! Enough of your game! I'm not gonna trust you anymore, how can you break me like this? Again and Again! I-I'm done" I yelled at his face with blood shot blurry eyes.

His hold on my hand was getting ease, his face looked so confused and bothered,

"What happened Mina?" he asked in a low tone.

"I don't want to suffer anymore Mike, I'm tired of it" I replied with tears rolling across my cheek.

"Wait, I think you have misunderstood something, I actually wanted to tell you something else, I really...."

"I have been misunderstanding everything for quite a long time, it's now I'm getting it right" I replied with a smirk.

"Stay away from me Mike!" I slipped the last sentence and left the place.

Now everything started to change, my father got bought a new car so I cancelled my bus pass and started to go to school by car. I deleted all my chats with him; I was deleting all my unsent drafts to him one by one until it showed empty.

I deleted all the things related to him on my phone, I just want to forget him that's it!

But little did I know that it were all of no use, cause I cannot delete him from my mind and heart.

The next day back at school, my first thought was Cedric, meeting him!

I went to his class and just stood by the window, I din't call him, just waited for him to turn and look at me.

He was chatting with his friends, when he saw me through the window a confused look covered his smile and he made way out of the class to me.

"Whass up Mina, I surprised to see you infront of my class!" he started in a confused tone.

I don't want to beat around the bush, so I said him straight,

"Let's be friends! Is that okay for you Cedric?"

He stood puzzled for some time and began

"Din't I say that Mike never understands you?" "I am happy atleast you realized it now."

He said and came near me to encircle his hand around my shoulders for a hug. But I refused.

"Look! I just said friends and nothing more than that got it?" I said him but my tone was like a caution.

He blinked for a couple of seconds and said,

"Sure, you can count on me. I will keep up my words. We can be friends. I am happy that you realized Mike doesn't deserve you!" he replied with a smirk.

I din't react to his words, the point here is I cannot tolerate Cedric talking like this about Mike, I'm hate him but that doesn't stop my mind wandering with his memories.

"Ok then we can lunch together today, if you wish?" Cedric asked me bringing my thoughts to reality.

I was really confused, I din't know about his character, how can I become friend with someone all of a sudden? but he doesn't look so evil.

"Okay, we can"

I replied after thinking. Anyway I have to get a chance to know about him. If he is not the type which I thought. Then I can move away from him.

"Ok then, see you by 12:30!" he said and left.

Then made my way to my class. I was still confused.

Later back at lunch break, I thought going to Cedric's class.

"Mina, not coming for lunch?" Lia asked me.

She doesn't know I am going with Cedric today. She actually doesn't know that the stalker is Cedric.

"No Lia, I am going with a senior friend" I replied.

"Really Mina? You have senior friends?" she asked me in wonder.

"Who is it?" was her next question.

Before I could answer,

"Hey Mina!" Cedric's voice came out from the door.

I just stood still with a gasp.

"Is he that senior?

You know him before? Is he a good guy?" she kept asking me several questions without a pause.

"I don't know Lia, this is the first time I' am going to lunch with him. Maybe if I find him bad, I can very well leave him!"

"Okay, careful!" Lia said and left the class giving Cedric a full glare.

Then I went out of my class.

"Mina, we're already late, come let's go!" he said and started to run holding my wrist tight.

"Cedric, slow down" I kept yelling. But I think he heared my words only when we reached the canteen.

I stood panting, holding my knees.

Then we went inside the canteen. There I could see a big table overloaded with food, and a group of 8 boys waving to Cedric.

Looking at them Cedric waved back.

"They are my friends!" he said pointing towards them.

I started to feel a bit uncomfortable because I never knew any of them before. They were all staring at me with a weird look and were talking among themselves; I guess about me.

I took a seat next to Cedric, because so far I knew only him.

"Hello guys, sorry for being late!" Cedric started while dragging the chair to sit.

"That's fine" said one among them who had blond hair with banada.

"So she is Mina!" "Mina Josh!" Cedric introduced me to this group.

"Hello Mina nice meeting you!" everyone said in an improper chorus. I just gave a nervous smile.

"You must be really lucky; you are the only girl who had got a chance to dine with our group!"

"Why you guys never like girls?" I asked them in wonder.

"Of course not!" said one of them.

"So you guys like me?" I asked.

"Yes, because Cedric likes you." "He never turns to girls!" said one among the eight with some sort of pride, this one is a Korean.

"But you really look cute!"

"Yes, like my little sister, wait I don't have one! But I can just imagine"

There were circles of laughter; these guys were not the kind how I thought. They are really funny.

But one in the group was really very silent. He was continuously looking everyone with an urge of asking something. He din't talk from the beginning.

"Is there anything you want to say?" I asked him.

"Well... Can we all eat now?" he asked with an innocent smile. No he is actually innocent.

Then there was an awkward silence for some time.

"Well that's a good question, of course we can ea..." before Cedric could finish speaking. We all pounced into the food like tigers and Lions

After eating Cedric asked,

"You like it?"

"Like what?" I asked back.

"Today's lunch, my group ...me?" he asked.

I don't know what to answer at that time. He is not evil, he has a good character. I looked at his friends.

Those fellows were still eating. I cannot imagine them as serial killers or gangsters or whatever apart from ASMR.

"Yes, you guys look really safe. You're good!" I replied with a smile.

He just gave a chuckle. Then he stuck his eyes on me.

"What?" I asked.

"Wait!" he said and took a tissue and wiped the sauce from the corner of my lips. Now this feels like déjà vu!

Cedric's friends started to make howling and teasing sounds. I was getting embarrassed.

"Stop it guys!" Cedric said in a whispery tone but with a lot of sign languages.

"Cedric, but I am just reminding you again, It's gonna be only a friendship nothing else!"

"Of course! Mina!"

"Okay then see you all, thanks for the lunch guys!"

"I haven't heard your names yet!" I said to his group.

"My name is Charlie Smith" said the one with blue eyes.

"I am Gilbert Williams!" said the blond headed fellow with the banada.

"Namaste, I am Ajay!" said the tanned skin boy with black hair

"Je suis Sylvan Michel" said the brown headed French fellow.

"Annyahyasu, jeh- eelumun Jun- seo eebnida"

"You know what is the meaning of my name?" he added.

I just gave a shrug. I could hear his friends whisper, "Not again" and some sign languaging me to go away, some giving him an awkward stare.

"You have to know!" Jun- seo said.

"What?" I asked him in curiosity.

"Well, it is (clears his throat) handsome and auspicious!" he said with a grin.

I could do nothing but only suppress my gushing laughter. So do his friends who started to laugh after watching me laugh.

"Am I not looking handsome?" Jun- seo asked me with disbelief.

"Of course you will become handsome one day but I guess that day is Feb- 30!" said the guy with a sort of aussi accent.

There was again a round of laughter. But Jun- Seo actually looked cute! His group is just making fun of him.

"I am Chris Augustin" said the one with the aussi accent

"I am Mark Spencer" said the foodie guy who first suggested the topic eating.

"And finally I am Steve Williams!" said the last one in the circle.

"You're group have 2 Williams!" I asked them in surprise.

"Yes! We are dizygotic twins!" said Gilbert.

"What?" I asked him, I don't know the term he is using.

"We are twins, but we don't look similar!" said Steve.

This is better to understand. I'm not so used with scientific terms.

"I had a great time with you all guys and with you too Cedric, I am leaving now, we can catch up later!" I said.

"When?" Cedric asked me

"When? I can't get you" I said confused.

"You said we can catch up later, I am asking when" he said with a plain look with a mild smile.

I don't know what to say, I kept thinking what I can say.

"Wednesday?" Cedric asked at once

"Join us Wednesday!" he added, this was not actually in a question tone.

"Ugh..." I saw his group again and said, "Okay I will!"

Just then I remembered, I din't get any thoughts about Mike! So this is something good. After all this is what I wanted.
