I was quiet for some time, I hope he din't see me blushing because it was dark.

I made a smirk and gave my hand for him to hold,

And off the song goes,

'I've found a love, for me'

He pulled me closer by my waist,

"Mike?" my words escaped in the midst of my gasping.

His eyes looked down to mine and he whispered,

"Just do what I say!" and he interlocked his fingers with mine.

"Place your hand on my shoulder, you can reach it right?" he asked me with a suppressed laugh.

"I'm not too short for that Mike!" I replied and placed my hand on his shoulder.

"Now, just move a step back and forward and repeat" he said.

Okay, it's easier than I thought.

"Now spin!"

I did a perfect spin holding his index and soon I learnt all the steps and it was not hard, and Mike was right, interest in anything matters; if you are genuinely interested in doing something then it would not be a big task for you! So dancing duet is my interest? Maybe with him.

"You're doing it great" he said smiling.

"Just because you taught me great" I shot back.

Then we kept quiet and only focused on dancing. Some feelings cannot be described and I'm adding this to that list.

Then I could hear him speaking again, wait... no he is suddenly singing the lyrics softly.

I lifted my head up to him,

'Baby, I'm dancing in the dark
With you between my arms,
Barefoot on the grass,
Listening to our favorite song'

He kept singing, looking at my uplifted curious head; it was only after hearing those lines I started to relate things, it's a dark place where we are dancing now, I'm between his arms and yeah barefoot on the grass, obviously listening to our favorite song which is this song.

"Mike, did you see? The lyric matches the situation exactly!" I said him in surprise.

He kept nodding his head slowly with a gentle smile,

' Darling,
You look perfect tonight!'

He sang while pinning a lock of hair at the back of my ear,

I was losing control, No! Why is he doing like this? Wait, does a duet dance needs all this gestures? I seriously doubt it!

My anxiety level started to rise up and forget about my heart beat I'm not going to talk about it again! He kept pulling me closer little by little until there was no space between us, and I was feeling nervous to the core, I cannot get control over my shaking hands and legs now. He slid his fingers at the back of my neck and started to inch forward. I felt shocks pass through my brain and my head started to ache now due to anxiety

"Mina, you're really the best girl I have ever met, and don't know why but I'm realizing it late"

I could only hear his voice because I could not lift my head to him again cause the pain now is becoming worse.

He kept saying many things but I was not able to concentrate on it,

"Mina I...Wait you okay?" he asked me.

"Yeah, I'm fine" I replied but I cannot tolerate my head ache and suddenly I could feel my body lose control and everything going black in the next instant.

When I opened my eyes again, I could see Mike infront of me and myself positioned against the bark of a tree there.

"Hey! You're okay? Can we go back to the room now?" he asked me puzzled and a bit scared.

"No, we'll stay here for some time; it's just because of anxiety!" I replied.

Then his phone started to ring and it was his parents,

He then got held up in a busy but yet a deserving conversation from his parents and obviously they are your true support. I just sat looking at him talk. I was feeling fragile and weak but I wished not to show up. I don't know why but I'm dreaming about a burger now, then I diverted my attention towards the flowers and fireflies there and then when I turned back again, this blockhead went missing, I started to get scared.

"Mike?" I called out.

No reply. I called out again and again and no reply.

How on Earth he can leave me alone in such an unknown place? I was getting panic then suddenly felt some one tapping my shoulders from behind. It was him,

"Where did you go? I was literally..."

"Scared?" He asked me.

"Scared? No! I thought you went lost" I defended with my replies, it's fake, I know but still I don't want him to know that I was scared, then he would tease me like today is his last.

"I just went to but this!" he said and gave me a burger."

"Burger? For me?" I asked him in total wonder how can he read my mind?

"But I..."

"Eat it before it becomes mine" he said.

I just took the burger from him and started to eat it no, I was actually gulping it! It was only then I thought about him,

"What will you eat?" I asked with still my mouth loaded with burger pieces.

"I don't feel like eating, just eat" he replied.

"Thanks" I said.

He just shot a smirk and said,

"Do you remember, the first day at school where you lost your burger because I din't return your 3$?"

"Ah you remember that still?" I asked him.

"Not only me but the entire class I guess, everyone was looking at us fighting, how can you forget it?" he asked laughing.

"Okay, enough of dark pasts!" I said, because it started to go embarrassing.

Then Mike's sisters Samantha and Rita rang up and wished him. I hope Daniel and Rita are having a good relationship.

After ending the call, he said,

"I don't know why but this is the best birthday that I ever had!"

"Really? I bet you must have celebrated it far more better, you're so rich and definitely they won't say no to parties, do they?" I asked.
He just gave a faint smile and said,

"Not all parties and celebrations give satisfaction; sometimes lonely night with your favorite person can also gives you that!"

"You din't mean me right?" I asked him in doubt.

"I was just giving an example" he replied.

"I always liked to be simple, like travelling in buses, having long walks, silly fights, funny jokes, chatting for hours and loving endlessly"
"I don't know why I find them more satisfying" he added.

How can he be so cute? I'm literally falling for this blockhead again and again.

Then after talking for some time, we thought we can leave back to the hotel, and still I don't know how I'm going to wake up early tomorrow because it's already 2 am now!

"Mike, how will we climb back again?" I asked.

Because there was only a way to jump from up to down not from down to up.
So we were searching for some other ways and luckily found an exit, it was from the kitchen.

We tip toed into the kitchen backdoor and somehow got ourselves in the first floor corridor and our task was easy cause now the receptionist is busy in his dreams.

"Okay, I'll go you leave to your room" I said to Mike.

"No, first you then me!" was his reply.

We quietly reached to room 211 which is my room,

"Thank you Mina for the most memorable night" he said with a smile.

"Thank you too for teaching me to dance; I'll never forget that in my life!" I replied.

"See you" he said and left to his floor.

I could not believe what just happened there out! It's like he sang the entire lyric for me and why my mind keeps telling me that he likes me? I'm such a dumb! Why do I have to faint exactly at the time when he wants to say something?

I could not think anything else other than our dance, which kept projecting in my mind again and again and with that same thought I fell asleep.
