Usually Brandon and Mike sit together, but this guy is not found today.

I slowly sat on the seat next to Mike, my heart was pacing up and I could not get control of my shivery hands. I was pretty sure that I will get caught within this week, don't know where this will all end!

"Fell comfortable Mina, take it as your own seat!" he said in his cocky tone.

Only the seat? Was my mind voice.

"Why do you look nervous gir?" he asked me getting back to reality.

"N-Nothing, where is Brandon, where he'll sit if I'm sitting in his place?" I asked.

"Oh him? He won't come this week! He has his football tournament" he replied.

"Really?" I asked him surprised. I was actually happy.

"You're happy that he is not here now?" he asked me.

"Does that sound so enthusiastic?"

"That's so bad for miss classes, poor boy!" I managed somehow.

And yeah! Everything went on well! I actually started to like this stupid feeling of mine now!
Admiring him in midst of my anxiety.

The only disadvantage sitting next to him was...

"Mike! I can't see what this teacher is taking! I could...barely see heads, human heads!"
I kept telling him while peeping up my head as high as high could.

"But I'm finding it fine!" he said and turned towards me.

"Not short, but also being tall is an advantage!" he shot at me.

"Fine!" I replied and continued with my work.

But I was finding it hard to see the board and unfortunately all the fellows infront of me resembled Eiffel tower and Statue of liberty. So from my seat it was hard.

Just then I could see someone staring at me...

"What?" I asked.

"You're finding it difficult right?" Mike asked.

"So?" I asked.

"Come here" he said.

"Why?" I asked him confused.

"Just come!" he hardened.

Okay!

I just moved a bit closer to him.

"Closer!" he said again.

I'm starting to get nervous. Wait I was actually nervous from the time I came to the seat next to him.

Whatever, I moved an inch closer again.

His face showed frustration and he instantly pulled me so close that we were both now in the same seat, yeah his seat!

I was breathing heavily.

"What the..." I was cut by his voice,

"Look now you can find the board clear, no human heads" he said.

And yes, he was right. His place had a good view indeed.

His knees and shoulders were brushing with mine and I am trying hard not get tensed but how?

The class was over and for the next class I suggested an idea that can bring down my anxiety level from how is it now,

"Mike can-can we swap places? Doesn't it look a bit uncomfortable? Swapping can make it easy!" I suggested him.

"Why din't I think about it before?" he said and we swapped places before the next class to begin.

Usually Mike and I used to share 3 classes together, Math, English and Chemistry, today I have my Physics class, which he doesn't have so I have to leave.

Of course I missed sitting with him and I was waiting impatiently for next dawn.

That evening after reaching home,

"But I like him!" I said, folding my washed clothes.

"It's too late now Mina, understand!" Lucy said.

"This is hard!" I said placing my hand on my forehead.

"Then Aaysha?" Lucy asked with a smirk.

"Don't talk about her" I replied coldly.

"Okay so what you're going to do now?" Gaby asked.

" You better tell him, I guess they are friends!" she added.

"Now shut up! It's pointless to talk about it now!" Lucy interrupted her.

I took a deep sigh and said,

"Okay, I don't know about Aaysha, I'm gonna tell Mike that I like him,

"What? Are you out of your mind Mina?" Lucy asked.

"For the first time you're doing something proper" Gaby said.

I took my phone in my hand and I thought I can text Mike,

Luckily his account showed active.

I started to ramble.

Gaby just shook her head helplessly she too disappeared instantaneously.
