We reached school; there is nothing different, everything is quite normal, except me. I don't want this change in me!

Whatever!

I used to look at Mike, when he spends time with his friend, Brandon (Sorry for not introducing this character at first, because I just thought I can have him in the second half of the story!)

And the worst of all this is he often gets call from Aaysha nowadays, which literally made me to hate her!

But I should not hate my best friend, what did she do? It was me who realized it late!

Back at home, I could see Aaysha packing her things, not only she but the entire family too!

"Why do you pack everything? You're leaving?" I asked her.

She gave a sigh and began,

"Well my father got a call this morning, a very important business call!"

"So?" I asked

"So we are leaving in 2 days!" She said.

"That's bad" I said.

"Yeah I know!" She said with a shrug.

I din't expect them to leave so soon,

Guys I'm not happy about her leaving! She likes Mike, it hurts but I cannot get mad at her cause she is my best friend!

And she never knew that I like him too.

I began helping her to pack her remaining things.

Next day...

"Honey take the umbrella, it looks like it's going to rain!"

My dad said to me who was dumping all my books in my school bag in a hurry.

"No dad, I'm fine!" I replied quick and hurried to the stop.

I caught my seat and started to read a story in Wattpad! And you know the story which I'm reading is full of coincidences, pretty cute!

There comes Mike.

"Hola minion", he said in his usual tone; then his eyes went wandering around me searching for something.

"What is it? Don't say grasshoppers!"

"You din't bring an umbrella? It looks like it's gonna have a thunder shower now!" he said.

"No, it won't!" I demanded.

"Yes it will!" he defended.

"No it won't!"

"Okay leave, we can have a bet!" he said with his mischievous grin.

"Bet?" I asked him confused. Trust me, he is not bad but he is not too good also!

"Okay, if it doesn't rain, you should not talk with Aaysha for one week!"

"Wow, a difficult one!" he said raising his eyebrows.

"Why she? You don't like her talking with me?" he asked me with his wicked smile appearing on his lips.

I was getting nervous, he should not doubt me!

"A penalty is a penalty! You cannot ask me like that" I replied fast.

"Now tell me what I should do in case if I lose" I asked him

"If it rains..." I will say what you have to do later!

"Now Mike, say the hell now!" I hate suspense.

He shook his head no.

I continued with my story, just then I something dazzling appeared at the corner of my eye through the window.

A lightning?

Followed by a loud thunder!

I put my hand out of the window, a drop from the sky landed on my palm, successively the number of drop increased.

I turned towards Mike, he was already watching me count the rain drops.

I gave him a nervous laughter.

He pointed his index against me a showed me a thumbs down.

"Wait, don't end the bet so soon, look it's not heavy, it can stop anytime, we'll wait till our stop!" I said quickly.

"Oh really, we'll see to that!" he replied sarcastically.

But due to my unluck, it started raining heavily than how was it before.

We got down in our stop.

Everyone in the stop had either a raincoat or an umbrella.

I was starting to get wet, it's cold, I don't want to catch a cold! I kept rubbing my hands for heat.

Just then the rain above me stopped. Wow how could this happen? Magic?

I looked up what it was; it was a huge beautiful transparent umbrella.

"I want you to do your penalty, so don't get sick!" Mike voice said from behind.

And of course he was the one holding the umbrella for me.
I turned back, his head was down looking at me.

<coughs>

"Can we move?" he asked.

"Yeah, of course!" I replied shuttering ny eyelids fast.

The rain doesn't look like it's going to stop!
Standing under the umbrella can only prevent us partially from rain not completely.

Due to this heavy downpour the some sides of the roads have transformed into puddles.

Suddenly I felt an arm wrap around me so close from the back, like how I used to hug my teddy bear at night (Yeah, I sleep with it)

Now Mike's both the arms were wrapping around me with his head closed to my face.

Vas Happenin'?!

"What are you doing Mike?!"

Before he could reply, a huge splash of water landed on us, well not exactly on me but on Mike, because he is covering me now!

"I' m undergoing something which I hate!" he whispered in my ear.

Then he got his hands off from me and said,

"Getting my clothes wet!" he said showing his completely drenched hair and uniform.

I could not control my laugh!

"You're laughing?" he asked me in a hesitated tone.

"Mike, why do you want to risk yourself like this?" I asked in midst of my laughter.

He din't answer but just stood smiling, shaking his head and making the waterdrops from his hair land on my face.

We somehow reached school but not on time.

"Wait here, I'll get myself with some dry clothes from the gym" he said.

"What? You want me to wait here in this corridor alone?" I asked him back.

"Then? You wanna come with me?" he shot back

"Hell no! What will I say if Ms. Helen saw me here standing alone, we are late you know that right?" I tried making him understand.

I don't want to get caught for late again! If it's detention it's ok, what if it is bathroom cleaning? No, that's not gonna happen!

"Then do one thing, come with me. Hide somewhere in the gym and we can get to our class through the other corridor past the gym" he said.

This sounds better.

"Okay!" I agreed.

"Cool! Now let's go!" he said and encircled my wrist.

We both tip toed towards the gym. And gym is far from this corridor. Soon we could hear some footsteps. We both looked each other.

"Mike are you sure we won't get caught right?" I asked in disbelief.

Water drops were dripping from his crisp brown wet hair, and with a smirk he replied,

"We won't!"

This guy is damn hot dude!

The sound of the footsteps grew louder and louder, wait now sounds started to come from the opposite side too!

This is bad!

I was getting tensed.

"Mike?" I whispered.

"I think we are caught! There is no way out here!" I started to ramble.

He looked still; his face showed that he was planning something.

"This is the 2nd corridor on the D block right?" he asked me suddenly.

"Yes, why do you ask now?" I asked him

I was preparing what I can answer to my teachers if we are caught. They're not going to excuse us for late comings that's for sure!

"It must be here... yes here!" Mike said touching the walls of the place where we stood and holy shit!

There was a door, a camouflaged door!

I stood there in wonder! Before I could say anything Mike pulled me into the door and we

Yes, we escaped! The door led to another corridor and the first room in that corridor was Gym! And few rooms away from it was swimming pool.

Oh my! I have never seen such things in this school! This looks like Harry Potter for me!

My doubt here is not how I became unaware of these secret doors but how this fellow knew it!

"Mike! How do you these things exist?" I asked him.

"You know right, I was once in the swimming pool area with Mr. Alex, he taught me this way, because we had lots to shift from the entrance to the swimming pool and I wished for some shortcuts. It was then he said about this wonderful thing!

"Wow!" I said and looked at him in surprise.

"Like this same way, I reacted at that time!" he said.

"Okay, now let's don't waste time and don't tell anyone about it!" he warned.

"No, I won't! Do I look like a secret breaker?" I asked him.

"No, sometimes you blabber things out!" he said mockingly.

I just gave a smirk.

So we both entered the Gym!

"Now quick Mike! Get a shirt that fits you right!" I said.

He was searching hard in the Gym's dressing room cupboard, but nothing looked perfect for him!

"Quick Mike!" I want him to finish up soon

"Now just come and help me rather than panicking you duckling!"

He is mean!

"Nothing suits me well!" he says frustrated while checking the shirts measurements with him

"If you were short like me, you would have got clothes easily!" I said mocking.

He just gave a rectangulish grin and we both began searching again.

After a battle fight with the closest, we found one,

"Aha, this one?" I said picking up a big shirt, for him it will fit, I hope so!

Seeing the shirt in my hand, Mike's face started to glow!

"This would be perfect!" he said and grabbed it from my hand.

"Now get out fast!" he ordered.

"Alright!" I said giving a eye roll.

I was waiting impatiently for him in the gym auditorium, outside the dressing room.

I checked my phone for the time; the first class was going to end in 5 minutes. But if we made our way before the 2nd class starts, no one will find out, forget the students, I meant the teachers.

"You're done?" I yelled.

I din't hear any reply.

"Mike?" I yelled again.

No replies still.

Shall I go and check out what happened?

No! What would something awkward happens?

But what if he is unconscious and needs help and if not helped he will lose his life in 5 minutes!

I'll better go!

So I made my steps closer to the dressing room, as I reached closer I could hear some banging sounds.

"Mike what are you doing?" I voiced from the outside of the door.

"Mina, I think the lock got stuck, I can't open it now!" he said from the other side.

Now who asked him to lock this damn door, this guy never trusts me!

"So?" I asked.

"I am trying to break it!" he said.

"What? Can I call someone for help?" I asked.

"No, no, no! bad idea!" he said.

"Okay now you are going to help me!" he added.

"Okay..." I said dragging.

"This will be simple, you just pull the knob and I will push the knob! I think this will work!" he said.

"What if the knob breaks because of pulling?" I asked.

"It won't! Good confidence by the way!" he commented.

"Now do what I say!" he ordered.

"Pull the knob, when I say 3!" he said.
"Okay, count!" I said giving a deep sigh.

"1...2..."

"3..."

I used all my strength and pulled the knob and it worked, but...

Mike was pushing the knob from inside and I was pulling the knob from out, the door opened eventually, his force on the knob was so hard that when he opened the door, that force knocked me down on the floor.

"You okay Mina!" Mike asked me.

"Till now!" was my reply.

We reached the class just before the next class to begin.

I suddenly remembered something!

He din't say me what I have to do if I lose the bet! He forgot!

As I kept my bag on my desk; Mike's hand encircled mine.

"Take your bag, you're going to sit next to me for the next 1 week!"

"What?" my heartbeat started to raise.
"He brought his face closer to mine and said,

"Penalty!"

Shit! He has a good memory!

He walked to his place and sat on his chair with crossed legs.

"Come!" he said loud enough to make the entire class to look at us, I can do nothing but rather walk to his place.

I never knew he's gonna say something like this for my penalty. I walked to his place. The entire girl's crowed glued their eyes on me.

Especially, Rachel.

This is bad, too bad, how am I going to survive next to him for the next one week!

I wish I should not fall for him, but this fucking situations are not helping me!
