The next dawn broke; we planned our picnic to Jasper Nationalpark. We really had a very good time, those hearty meals, sweaty matches in the grounds there and camp fire, I'm just living my life!

Sid was fully hanging out with Mike. I dint get any time with him.

I, Aaysha and Lia were together, of course Aaysha and Lia became good friends. But I don't know who to support, both like Mike, and Mike doesn't like both of them!

That evening after camp fire Aaysha approached me and reminded me about my help to her. I was really confused, I don't know how he is gonna react to it, I just asked her some time, but I promised her that I would make her talk with Mike before we leave the hotel.

But I was really feeling bad for Lia, but both are my best friends I don't know who to help now!

I too planned to confess to Sid before leaving, I was searching for the apt time. But I was not able to find him alone, he was always hanging with Mike, so I planned something else...

I thought I could make Mike talk with Aaysha so that in the same time I can talk with Sid.

It was gonna be the last day for us in the hotel; I found them both in the football court. I kept spying them for some time; I got a right time, Mike left to drink some water.

"Mike, I wanna say you something important!" I said.

"Really, is it something so important?" he asked me with widened eyes

"Yes! But don't think awkward about it!" I cautioned him.

"What?" he asked while his plain face was overcoming with confusion.

"Well the point is..." I cannot tell anything more than that, I was feeling embarrassed.

He placed his hand against the wall above me and bringing his face close to mine he asked,

"You wanna be my girlfriend?"

I was stunned, I was skipping beats and my bloodflow started to pause for sometime, well on my face. So it looked like that I was blushing.

How can he ask me like that?

"What? Of course not Mike! I am interested in Sid!" I just said at once.

"Oh, that's nice, does he know?" Was his next question.

"I think he likes me too, but I din't tell him still!"

I replied nervously.

He paused for sometime and continued,

"I know it breaks your heart Mina!" He started.

"Why! Because you're gonna move to a city in a broke down car?" I said mockingly.

"I am serious minion! I think Sid likes someone else, some other girl!"

I was first blank, totally blank. I could not accept what he was telling.

"No, that can't be true" I said shaking my head no.

I was not broken, because I won't believe this crack head, he lies always!

"How can I believe you Mike? I can even consider it as a reason for you to enter in place of Sid!" I said without thinking because I doubt Mike.

"What? Wait, What?" He asked me laughing.

I stood there with my eyes still stuck on him.

After giving a fake laugh he continued,

"Erase those thoughts in case you have any of them like this!" He said pointing his index towards me.

"I never saw you in that point of view!" He added.

"I asked you whether you love me because you stood in a fuss!"

It was only then we both came to know we actually forgot what the main topic was!

"Now tell me, what was that you wanna tell me!" He asked with folded arms.

Then giving a sigh I said, "Aaysha likes you Mike!"

"What! She? From when?" His face showed 100's of reactions at the same time.

I just nodded, "she wants to talk to you it seems." I said with a grin.

"But, what will I talk!" He asked me confuesed.

I just gave a shrug.

"Okay, now leave, I want to talk with Sid" I said pushing him aside.

"Mina, this is not good, He has a girlfriend." He kept repeating the same thing.

"Just leave Mike, I'm not gonna believe you!" I replied and started to walk towards the football court.

"Where is she by the way?" He yelled because I was now a 10 feet far from him, nearing the court.

"Over there in the balcony!" I replied yelling.

He then left to the balcony. Now I have to prepare myself before talking to Sid, I was practicing my dialogues. I was training my mind not to get nervous when I talk with him, just 3 words and that's it!

I don't care what Mike told me, because I was sure he likes me and yesterday's event made me fall even more for him.

He was there in the football court practicing, my feet were nearing him, my body starts to get chills, whatever happens, I'm gonna say to him today!

"Sid!"

I called.

He turned and gave a smile,

"Oh! Hi Mina! Whass up?" he asked me.

I don't know how to start, I could hear my heartbeat going fast, I was praying that I should not faint.

I din't get a way to start.

"I'm... in love with... you!" I could suddenly hear his voice distracting my overloaded thinkings.

I was stunned, shocked and dead!

"W..h..at!?" I asked him pushing the words hard out of my mouth.

"Your shirt! Those words are printed in your shirt." he replied.

"Its cute, isn't it?" He asked me.

I looked at my shirt and gave a nevous laugh,

"Oh I... never noticed... it! I said stammering with still my head facing my shirt.

"And what if these words are true?" I asked him.

He looked confused.

"I..I don't get you Mina!" Was his reply.

"I'm in love with you Sid!" I broke out.

He was quiet and then he came near me smiling,

"Is it a prank right?"
"Mike or Aaysha who said you to do?"

Why this guy never get it!

"No! I am serious!" I said.
"What? Really?" he asked me with no expression.
"Yes." I said in a low tone.

There was an awkward silence for 2 minutes.

He came near me and said holding my hands,

"Mina, I like you so much, but I have always seen you as my childhood friend; I never thought about you anything else beyond a friend."

I was broke, tears filled my eyes.

"Can't you think of me more than a friend now?" I asked stammering.

"You're so childish Mina, I cannot think the same how you are thinking!" he said.

"But...but why?" I asked him.

He was silent.

"Why Sid? Answer me!" I asked repeatedly.

"Because... I love another girl!" he replied at once, it was an yell.

I was quiet for some time.

So Mike was right.

"I din't mean to hurt you, but this is true"

I was broken. Tears started to fill my eyes automatically.

"I...I...am sorry, I just need to leave now" I replied and left the place wiping my tears away.

I went to the hotel's garden, there was no one there; I sat on a bench and started to cry with my hands burying my face.

Around 10 minutes later, I heared some footsteps, it was Mike.

I quickly wiped my eyes and pretended to be normal.
"You're crying?" he asked me while sitting next to me in the bench.

"No, am not." I replied.

"Tell me girl, you're looking awful" he said.

"Is it about Si.." before he could finish,
I started to burst into tears again. I could not control it. Mike was patting my head and was consoling.

"Sid does not like me!" I said sobbing.
"I could not tolerate, my heart's aching!" I said lying on his shoulders.

"It's okay. You'll be fine minion" Mike said patting me.

"I really loved him so much, you know?" I asked him sobbing.

Then Mike held my face in both his hands,

"Look! What I am going to say now, is true! Okay?" he asked me

"Hmm" I hummed sniffing.

"You are the most beautiful, brave, cute and talented girl I have ever met. Wait for your time, you always deserve the best."

I was still sobbing.

"I really... like you Mina! And I will support you forever! he said.

"Okay" I replied in a shaky tone. "That's so nice of you" I added.

"Now go wash your face minion! Or I'll take you a pic of your sobby face", he teased me.

"Look what you have done to my shirt?" he said showing the part where I lied in his shirt.

"Longer than Nile!" he commented.

"Just go away!" I said in midst of my suppressing cry.

"You smile, I leave" he said.

"Alright!" I gave him a tight smile.

"That's scary, a bit smaller" he said teasing.

I too started laughing.

Then we both made a walk in the garden.

"This hotel can hire you, you know why?"
"Cause you have enough water in your eyes to water the entire plants in this garden!" he said laughing.

I gave him a hard punch in his stomach.
"Ouch! That hurts! You're only small but really strong!" he said rubbing his stomach.

"Don't forget that I own a black belt in karate." I said tapping my biceps.

Then we both started to laugh.

"What did you tell to Aaysha?" I asked him suddenly.

He was quiet for sometime then said,

"Well she seemed to be a good girl, I like her!" he replied.
