It was the last bell sound, We four rushed out of the class at once making everyone think that we've gone mad, but we din't bother!

"Hello dad?"

I called my father.

"Dad I'll be late today by an hour, I'm going out with friends"

"Ok you can go, but make sure you're careful, how many of you?"

"Me, Lia, Lisa and Mike, 4 of us!" I replied.

My father is really very scared to let me hang out with friends.

"Is Mike there too, that good fellow?" he said with a confident tone.

"Yes Dad!" I replied with an eye roll.

"Come home before 6:30 p.m"

"Ok dad!"

"Don't talk to strangers!"

"Ok dad, I'm not a kid"

"Be careful and be alert!"

"Ok dad!" I was getting bored

"And ask Mike to drop you in home if in case it is getting too dark"

"Ok dad.... Wait what did you say?

"Mike?"

"Him?"

No I can manage; I'll make sure I'll reach home by time." I replied and he hung the phone.

"Are you done with your phone? I heared my name in your conversation?"

Mike asked me wiggling his eyebrows.

I din't notice him standing behind!

"Your name? No! Erhh.... you might have heared it wrongly! Ok now don't waste time guys, come let's go" I said fast and hurried.

I could see him staring me in confusion in the corner of my eye.

We boarded the bus and reached the place in a 15 minutes time.

We 4 stood there infront of the restaurant with our arms fixed on our hips.

"What are you waiting for?" Lia asked in a singing tone (love me like you do)

We 4 rushed inside and caught hold of an empty table.

Lisa and Lia cunningly caught hold of a place on the either side of Mike. I was sitting infront of them. The two were flirting to the core with him, I cannot resist them, I wanted to do something...

I cleared my throat, I gained no attention; they were busy with their works.

I again did the same, making sure my clearing sound was audible to them.

"What happened Mina, you want
something?" Lisa asked me.

"Your order please", I said with a tight smile pushing the menu card to them.

"Oh I actually forgot about that!" Lia said chuckling.

How will she remember.

We placed the orders and were eagerly waiting for the dishes.

In a few minutes of time, we got our lovely KFC chickens; those aroma I could remember still! Mouth watery glowing chickens!

Before I could take a bite of it, Lia encircled my wrist

"Hold on! We will first take a pic of it" she said.

"Unfortunately her phone was dead, we three were losing our patience, I was frowning at her,

"Don't worry; I will take in Mina's phone"

She said and clicked few in my phone, well not few but more than 10.

Enough of it, I started to get into my food, the taste was heavenly.
But I was feeling very sad, when I was about to eat the last one,

"This is the last one!" I said with a fake mourn.
Lia too joined me.

Later, after a few more photos we waved bye to each other. Lia left in her bike and Lisa went with her brother. I and Mike as usual was waiting for a town bus, after boarding into one, I was viewing all the photos, which Lia took, Oh man! This girl is enough to make my entire phone storage full!

Then I reached my home, I came home alone no one helped me (I meant Mike!)

I got refreshed and was with my home works and suddenly I saw my phone vibrating, someone is calling; It only had a number, no name, I don't know who it was, I swiped to answer.

"Hello, who is this?" I asked.

"Hello!"

someone replied on the other side.

I have heared this voice before, this same tone of Hello!

"This is Siddique." the voice said.

My heart skipped a beat, I was getting nervous; I din't get any words further to speak.

"Oh!... I... din't have this number of yours" I replied with a nervous laughter.

"Oh! This is my new number!"

Then there was an awkward silence, we both din't get any topic to talk, I thought I can start, fearing he might end the call.

"Then, how are you?" I asked.

"I'm doing good, I've got few chances in modeling but I din't go, I'm interested only in sports." He replied with a super cute laugh, okay maybe not super cute, cute.

"You're perfect, everything suits you well" I added.

"PERFECT?" he asked me in a teasing tone.

Oh my God; was that too much?

I din't reply anything further, but luckily he started the next conversation.

"I'm sorry that I was not able to talk to you properly on the other day when my parents called."

"It's ok" I replied like an innocent girl.

"That's so kind of you!" "I saw one of your recent pic in instagram, you looked cute."

Oh my God! I am blushing!!

"Thanks" I replied with almost red cheeks.

Everything went on well until I started to get call from Lia.

I ignored. But she kept calling me continuously. I tried my best to cut her call.

"Hello? You're there?"

Sid asked me over the phone.

"Yes! Yes!" I replied at once.

Then for a few minutes, there was no disturbance, Sid and I were having a good conversation. Then I was getting some notification sounds, I din't see who it was, I was continuing with Sid, but those notification sounds irritated me a lot, Now my mind was in those sounds and I was not able to listen properly to what he is saying. Before I could mute the notification sound, he guessed my problem,

"I think you've got some work to do, its fine we'll catch up later"

"But... no!" before I could say anything he ended the call.

I was really angry with the person who texted me, it was none other Lisa, I've got a few texts from Lia too, but both contained the same matter,

'Hey Mina! Please send those pics we took in the restaurant today, please send all the photos'

I know for what these girls are asking me, Can't they ask this before a half an hour? I missed one of my lovely dreams in reality.

Only a person like me, who is in my situation, can understand.
