Blaze's pov

"Oh come on! How'd you win?" I ask.

"Don't feel bad princess, it's only a difference by 10...thousand points!" Biscuit says with a smile. "Now for my reward..."

"Oh god," I face palm. Why'd I ever agree to this.

"This way your highness," Biscuit says with a mocking bow. I roll my eyes and walk past him and out of the store.

Outside the sun shone brightly into my eyes so I had to avoid eye contact.

"Blaze!" biscuit shouts. I stop and turn to him. He comes at me panting and holds out my moms compact. "you...left it..."

"Oh! Um thank you," I say feeling my cheeks heat slightly, but if he noticed it he didn't say anything.

"Alright. Come on Princess," Biscuit said and grabbed my hand, dragging me behind him.

"Wait! Where are we going?" I shout as he drags me into a clothes store. He puts me on a chair and disappears into some clothes carts. I roll my eyes, fold my legs and cross my arms.

3...2...1

"Ahhh!" I hear girls scream. The carts shake and Biscuit jumps out. His jacket is missing and his hair is spread out across his head messily.

"Have fun?" I ask with a smile.

"Am I that cute?" Biscuit asked, rubbing away lipstick from his cheek and shuddering. I shrug my shoulders and smile.

"To simple-minded girls? Yes."

He looks over to me and plops down then he tosses something at me. I grab it quickly and look down at it.

"You have to wear that and I'm taking you somewhere," he says folding his arms. I sigh and go into the changing room.

When I come out I'm wearing a pink shirt with one red stripe going from the shoulder to my waist and black shorts. It went well with my bandana.

"Wow..." Biscuit said looking at me. He smiled cheesily and I feel my cheeks heat up again.

"Shut up. Just go pay for it wudda?" I roll my eyes and he walks away. A few minutes later he reappears and we walk out. "So where are we going that I had to dress up like this?"

"Oh I didn't make you wear that for where we're going. I just thought you would like it." he wasn't wrong.

"Ok...that still doesn't answer my question?" I repeat. He looks nervous for a second then sighs.

"That...we're going to the library," he says quietly. I stop dead in my tracks and it takes all my willpower not to punch him. "Now before you kill me I have a reason!"

"Well? Speak you're so called "reason"!" I say, aggravated. Biscuit takes a deep breath and speaks.

"You're hiding something. I know you are and it's killing you. You need someone to share it with or it'll eat you alive," Biscuit explains. I thought about it for a minute and then sighed.

"Alright, let's go," I start walking forward.

"Really?" he says hopefully.

"I said yes, didn't i?" I ask curiously. What was it with this guy and doubting everything I said and did? He's like a lesser version of Best's personality.

"Right..." he says. Suddenly he grabbed my hand and was once again dragging me with him.

I sucked in my breath as we arrived at the library. I was almost positive that Biscuit didn't know who my parents were so he wouldn't pay attention to the statue outside the library. I was wrong.

"Have you ever wondered what happened to them?" he asks, stopping at the statue of my mother and father, back to back. They were just around my age in this picture-maybe a year or two older.

"Well the articles say they were murdered," I try to keep my voice steady but I'm pretty sure it dropped an octave.

"Yeah, but why?" He wonders aloud. Suddenly his face brightens and he turns to me. "You're smart."

"Um...I'm not sure how to take that," I admit with a frown but he wasn't really listening.

"We could figure out what really happened! It'd solve one of the worlds greatest mysteries!" Biscuit exclaimed, grabbing my hands and looking straight into my eyes. I stutter under his gaze and grip.

"I don't know...i mean usually it's better not to get involved in murders..." I say with a nervous shrug. Biscuit let's go of my hands and crosses his arms.

"Is the leader of the LovelyLight Girls scared?" he scoffs and laughs. "Seriously Nanako! Come on let's go inside." he looked up at the statue once more and went inside. I looked up to my mom and frowned deeply.

"What do I do?" I ask though I know I look stupid.

"Believe in yourself...the key is your heart..." it came from below me and I looked around for anyone.

"Come on slowpoke!" Biscuit called from the door. I turn around once more then dash after him.
