Bean's POV

None of my brothers are home and it's storming...perfect. At least i have my TV-

"Darn it!" I shout as the power fails. I push my head into the couch cushions and groan. The doorbell rings and i groan louder. "Go away!"

"Please let me in!" Its a girls voice...interesting. I get up and open the door and groan even louder when i see who it is.

"Go home," I growl and try to close the door, but she stops it with her foot.

"Please! I feel like a Popsicle out here!" She begs. I open the door and get a good look at her. Her brown hair was drenched and had fallen from its ponytail, her clothes were stuck to her body, and her eyelashes drooped with water.

"Fine, but this changes nothing!" I shout angrily and move away, granting her entrance. She scurries through the door and i force it shut behind her. Now she stands out awkwardly in my dry living room. "Hold on, i'll get you a towel."

I go upstairs to my room and grab a brown towel. As i walk out my eye catches a glimpse of my purple shirt and i think about her soaking clothes.

"Here," I toss her the towel with the clothes inside. "You can use the bathroom. It's down the hall on the right." She nods her head in thanks and walks away.

I plop down on the couch and look up at the ceiling. A Lovely Light in my house? Weird...

It was a few minutes later when Best came back out. She had on a pair of my black shorts and a purple sweatshirt that was too big on her thin body. She kept rubbing the towel through her knotted hair and her purple eyes looked clearer. She looked...pretty.

"Feeling better?" I ask as if i didn't really care. She gives a smile and plops down on the sofa next to me. I look over at her, slightly surprised.

"Yeah. Didn't have any girl clothes?" She teases but i answer her anyway.

"I live in a house of boys with a monkey for a mother. Unless you wanted some 60's flower dress covered in monkey hair, i would be grateful for what i gave you," I say with a sigh.

"Hmm. Well then thank you," She says fluffing the last bit of her hair and tossing the towel away. I look over at her skeptically.

"Why were you out in that storm anyway?" I ask, mildly interested.

"Oh...well," Best's cheeks heat up and she rubs the nape in her neck. "I was trying to find my sisters. They disappeared."

"All three?" she seems surprised that I was actually listening.

"Y-yeah, why?" she says eyeing me. I just sit back and shrug.

"My brothers disappeared a few hours ago, not that it means anything to me!" I dismiss but she caught on.

She smiles and pats my leg teasingly.

"Look who cares!" she says, leaning back. My leg tingles from the spot that her hand had left and began to fade away.

"Yeah, whatever! What about you miss grumpy? You had to care to go out there," I say back smugly but she just smiles.

"Yes. I did care," she admits looking down. I place my hand on her shoulder and she turns to look at me. It was like a magnet as my body started to shift towards her.

BEEP BEEP BEEP

She pulled back looking flustered and grabs the belt that hangings around her waist. I can't help but notice that the color is lighter then hers and it had a white P engraved into it.

"What's the P stand for?" I ask without thinking. She stops and looks down to her belt. Her fingers glide over the delicate frame and she smiles, more to herself.

"Puff. PowerPuff," she says, finally looking up at me. Her face falls and looses it's fantasy look as if she had just woken up from a dream. "I'm sorry. I have to go." she shakes her head and walks out into the rain.

Just like that the LovelyLight was gone.
