Bean
~Five years later~
"Does it hate me or something? I mean seriously, this is the fourth time today!" I say, defeated as Blitz attempts to undo the light purple ribbon that had made it's way around me for the fourth time today. It was Best's ribbon, I knew that because it had a L engraved on the handle...and maybe some of my dry blood.
"No, It just...never mind, we'll just put it away," Blitz sighs as he finally manages to pull of the bind. Bunny sat not too far away, silently sipping coffee from a mug on the couch.
"No." I say. Blitz glances up to me. I hold out my hand and he raises an eyebrow. "I don't want to put it away, it was...hers." no one was ever able to say her name anymore.
"Bean, we can't keep undoing it over and over. It's best to just put it away," Blitz insists with a frown. He puts a hand on my shoulder. "It's for the best."
"Ha, you don't know how many times I thought that," I say without humor and shake off his hand. "Do what you want. I'm going to go clear my head."
I walk out the door weather or not they care.
I was just walking around when my phone began to ring. I sighed, picking it up and answered.
"Hello?" I say, my voice brisk and to the point.
"Oh...i'm sorry. Wrong number..." a voice says from the other side and the line went dead. I looked at the caller id but it was in recognizable. The phone buzzes again and this time I recognize Berry's number.
"Yes?" I say, sounding aggravated.
"You, me...bar tonight. See ya!" the line goes dead and I sigh. You would think with not betraying his girlfriend that he would not move on but in the past years he's already been through three, none very special though. I sigh and head home.
The music was audible through the thin brick walls as I waited outside for Berry. I was in a plain purple shirt and black shorts-the same thing everyone wears.
"Hey cutie," a blonde girl with blue eyes says with a slutty smile as her and her friends giggle past me. I, unlike Berry, had not moved on from Best. Bull had also been unsuccessful and Bisc had taken to it to try to convince himself to like some girl in the candy shop. Of course that always failed.
"Hey! I'm here!" Berry calls, running towards me. He had the same outfit as me, but instead he had a black coat.
"Just us?" I ask, curiously. Berry shakes his head and as if on cue-Bull and Biscuit appear.
"Let's get this party started!" Bull cheered and ran in, Biscuit close behind. Berry and I glance at each other before also going in.
Warning: some of these descriptions might get out of hand. For young eyes I tell you to skip this chapter. Thank you!
Girls danced on tables, swinging their hips in weird ways I recognized as drunken twerking. We ended up plopping down at a table and a waitress came.
"What can I get you?" the voice sounded strangely familiar... I looked up and jumped when I saw two lavender eyes. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." she puts on a small smile.
"Not a problem. We'll take three cokes and a sprite," Biscuit says without looking up. The girl writes it down and walks off.
"Did you not see who that was?!" I ask, taken a back. Bull looks up to me and smirks.
"A pretty girl. Go get her tiger," he says, patting my shoulder and going back to his conversation. I stare dully at him and growl.
"Not just a pretty girl...it was Best!" I say. At the mention of the name all three boys halted in their conversation and looked at me.
"Dude..." Berry starts sadly, putting a hand on me, but I shrug it off.
"It was her!" I protest. They opened their mouths to say more but Best returned with our drinks.
"Here you are, boys," she smiles at me and walks away. I suddenly noticed that she was wearing a light purple tank top that ended at her ribs, a black tie, and a black skirt with purple on the edges. Hanging around her neck was deep purple beats.
"No...way..." Biscuit says, staring after her.
"Ok, somebody grab me a beer. I'm drinking before the dead start eating my brain," Bull said and grabbed the mug from a waiter. I steal it from him before he can drink it and place it on another passing waiters tray.
"The dead are not returning," I say, rolling my eyes.
"Oh yeah? Then explain why your dead girlfriend is walking around here?" Bull says smugly, his evergreen eyes searching for answers. I slump back in my chair, defeated.
"I don't know," I admit.
"Back off!" I hear someone shout. The others must have heard it too because we all jumped up and ran to the source. We found the girl pinned up against the wall by a guy at least a foot taller than her. She was a teen, he was a drunken man...this would not end well.
"Hey! Get off her!" Berry shouted. We were in a small corner of the bar so nobody could hear or see us.
"I can...handle this..." the girl say and flips the guy over. We all stared in shock as we saw a familiar girl.
"I think I'm gonna pass out," Bull says. I think he just spoke for all of us.
Hi! so I deleted the other chapters cause I like this version better, don't worry though, I still have the other ones so if I change my mind I'll switch it back. Who do you think the girl is?? I know, but I want to know what you think. Bye!
