Scars

>still hokage POV<

Both she and Kakashi tensed.

"Uh, hokage-sama, I don't think that's a very good idea," Kakashi said. "She doesn't seem all that fond of me."

"Well you two are going to have to get along because she's going to be your co-sensei," I grinned.

"Are you positive sir? She didn't even know what a shinobi was until five minutes ago," he said nervously.

"You can train her, you've got one day, so I suggest you make nice and get started," I simply said.

"Do...." Cody started quietly, making us look at her. "Do I have to?"

"Yes, is that a problem?" I asked. She looked to the floor and sighed.

"No, it's fine..." She mumbled.

"Shall we go then?" Kakashi sighed tiredly, looking at Cody.

"Whatever," she grunted.

"Have a good day hokage-sama," Kakashi said before heading for the door. Cody hesitated, but followed grudgingly behind, staying at least three feet away.

"This will certainly be interesting," I chuckled to myself once my office door shut.

I looked at the back of the man, Kakashi, in front of me with a hate filled glare. I despise men now. The old man in the office, I have no problem, same with little kids, but after James... I just can't stand men. That bastard killed me and now I'm in this freaky world.

By the way.... How'd my chest get bandaged?

"You're bleeding pretty bad."

I glared at Kakashi's back.

"And you care why?" I asked hatefully.

"...... we can take you to the hospital and have them take a look at it," he said, not answering my rhetorical question. As was logical.

"I'm fine," I said stubbornly, even though it hurt like a bitch.

"Fine," he sighed. He stayed silent for a while and I resumed my zoning out, thinking of random shit.

About ten minutes or so later he stopped walking. How do I know? I walked into his back.

"Hey, watch where you're going," I grumbled, rubbing my nose.

"I could say the same to you," he chuckled, unaffected by the glare I was giving him.

"Jack ass," I growled. He chuckled again and my eye twitched as I got even more pissed off.

"Oh, we're home by the way," he added.

"This is not my home," I snapped immediately. He sighed.

"Of coarse not... alright. I hope you like dogs Cody."

"Dogs?" I asked. He just opened the door and a large crowd of dogs surrounded us. My mouth fell open when I saw one particular dog with a puny body. I picked him up, scratching behind his ear and smiling. "Aren't you a cutie?" I cooed, ignoring Kakashi completely.

"Who's the dame?" It asked. I froze for a moment, my eyes wide.

"I'm done!" I yelled, dropping the dog and throwing my hands up as I walked through the canine sea and into a living room. I speed walked, my hands still above my head, to an open window and climbed out, into the back yard, or more likely a training ground. I went to a wooden bench and sat down, burying my head in my hands. "A talking dog," I moaned. "As if my life couldn't get any more fucked up, the universe had to throw a fucking talking dog at my damn head!"

"Technically you picked up that..... Ahem.... Talking dog."

"Shut the hell up, smart ass," I groaned. "I'm too freaked out to deal with your shit."

"Uh... you've never seen a talking dog?"

"No! Really?! Don't be such a dipshit!" I yelled at him. His visible eye closed in what I'm assuming was a smile as he put his hands up in a surrendering fashion.

"Sorry, sorry," he laughed nervously. "Where do you come from anyways?"

"None of your business," I snapped, glaring at him. He sweatdropped in a cartoon like manner.

"Right... anyways, we need to start training you to be a shinobi, but first we should take a look at that wound on your chest," he said, holding out his hand.

"One, no way in hell are you looking at my chest," I said hatefully, making him stutter something as the visible portion of his face turned dark red. "And two, I'm still freaking out about the FUCKING. TALKING. DOG you own!" I yelled.

"Must you always use the word 'fucking' whenever you are talking about me?" A deep voice questioned. I jumped away from the dog from before, which was laying beside me on the bench, his head on his paws.

"Gahahahaha!" I spazzed, making a sound that went from a shocked cry to a weirdly nervous laugh. He sighed.

"Oh come on now, it's not like I'm threatening to murder you in your sleep, are you really this freaked out just because I talk? What if I freaked out everytime I saw a human at didn't talk? Hm?" He asked. I blinked a couple of times.

"Guess that's fair..." I mumbled, scratching my head. "Sorry about freaking out on you.... And dropping you."

"Meh, it's cool," he shrugged.

"So what's your name anyways?" I asked, petting his head.

"Pakkun."

"Oh.... That's interesting," I hummed.

"Neh, Cody?" Kakashi said cautiously.

"What?" I growled, leering at him.

"You should probably change your bandages and clean that wound so we can start your training."

"Fine," I huffed, standing up and walking back into his house.

"Do you need help finding the bathroom?!" He called after me.

"No," I asnwered coldly before slamming the door shut behind me. I heard a yelp of pain. "Oh my god! Pakkun are you okay?!" I yelled worriedly.

"No.... it's cool..... You just kinda....... shut the door on my tail......" He grunted in pain.

"Oh god Pakkun, I am sooooooo sorry," I apologized as I knelt beside him, even though I'm not sure how I shut the door on his little stub of a tail.

"It's fine. Cody, right?"

"Yeah."

"I came to make sure you made it to the bathroom."

"Oh, alright."

"It's over here."

He led me over to a door and I entered, making sure I didn't shut the door on him when he ran inside too.

"Whatcha doing?" I asked as he jumped on the sink.

"Getting you some bandages."

"Oh, thanks Pakkun," I said as he got a roll of bandages from a drawer. I began unwrapping the bandages from my chest, leaving my breasts covered as I looked at my scar for the first time.

MINE

"That bastard," I growled, gritting my teeth as I clenched my fists. Pakkun gasped.

"'Mine'?" He read. "Who.... did that to you?"

"Don't speak of it," I snapped at him. He jumped back and I sighed, setting my hand on his small head. "Sorry, but I just don't want to talk about it," I whispered as tears welled up in my eyes.

I leaned back against the bathroom wall, sliding down slowly as I put my face in my hands. Then, I cried. I cried as the trauma and shock set in. I really died, then. I died and now I'm here, living with another man that's sure to hurt me, just like James and the other men before him. I cried, realizing that it would be a never ending cycle, wanting it all to end, but I didn't want to end it that way.

"Cody?" Pakkun said with a small whine as he hopped down beside me, nudging my leg with his head. All I could do was sob uncontrollably, shaking violently and coughing randomly. "Cody, what happened?"

"P-Pakkun, j-just don't," I sobbed. "P-Please....."

"Okay Cody, okay."

And with that, he sat there as I cried my eyes out. After about five minutes, my breakdown subsided and I stood, rubbing my eyes and hiccuping.

"Cody, are you okay?" Pakkun asked as I washed my face, hoping to rid myself of my red and puffy eyes.

"Yeah, I'm fine Pakkun. Turn around so I can change my bandages would ya?"

"Sure...." He mumbled, turning around as I completely unwrapped my chest. I took one of the small rags from the countertop and got it wet. I cleaned the dried blood from my chest before taking the new roll of bandages and rewrapping my chest.

"Hey, Pakkun?" I said quietly as I wrapped my chest, making sure that all of my scars were covered.

"Hm?" He asked, keeping his eyes averted.

"Don't............ Don't tell him about this........ please......"

"Okay Cody."
