It was just before five in the morning and TaiFeng was sneaking out to meet Xue Yang.

Luckily she still had Qingheng-jun's jade token with her, so getting pass the guards at the front gate was easy.

She had arrived at YueYang Town at quarter past five, and made her way to the abandoned house.

"Xue Yang, it's me. I found out something huge that's sure to bring the YueYang Chang Sect to ruin." She said knocking on the door.

Immediately Xue Yang opened the door, almost pulling it off of its hinges.

"What did you find out? Also do you have any more of that candy from yesterday?" He asked.

"Sect Leader Chang had commmited a triple murder. Technically it's a quadruple murder, as one of the victims was pregnant." She said.

"Right now, we need to find Shangguan Zhu. He's an accomplice and a key witness."

"Well, then what are we waiting for."

The two walked and asked for directions until they found a decent looking apothecary named Shangguan Medicine.

The two went in and were greeted by a clerk.

"Hello, customers, what can I do for you?"

"Do you know where Shangguan Zhu is? I have something I need to discuss with him."She said as kindly as she could, as not to arouse suspicion.

"Ah, you have business with the boss. He's round back, I'll go get him, please wait in the lounge." He said as gestured to a small closed off space.

As they sat down Xue Yang looked around.

"From what you told me on the way here, Shangguan Zhu was just an assistant healer, so there's no way he could afford a place like this."
He said.
"Also, I want candy."

"What are you, six? Just wait. My candy, my rules."She huffed.

"My knife, your life."

"Uggh, fine." She said throwing a bag at Xue Yang ,who caught it with a satisfied smirk.

Just then a man in his thirties with a scar on his cheek and his hair in a topknot with a wooden hairpin stepped in.

"Can I help you two? The clerk said that one of you has business with me."He said.

TaiFeng took off her hat to reveal her face.
"My name's Qian TaiFeng, but you probably know me better as Yuzhao Long."

"Yuzhao Long! Do what I owe the honor of meeting an esteemed cultivator such as yourself?" He said, bowing low.

"Are you perhaps in need of medicine?"

"Actually I'm in need of information and I was wondering if you can help me. "She smiled.

"Ah, please then have some tea and I will tell you what I know." He said pouring her a cup.

She politely took a sip.
"This tea is exquisite. Mellow and fragrant."

"That's Bilochuan Tea from the far north. So what kind of information do you need."

"I'll be frank with you, do you know the reason behind my title?"

"I only know rumours. Apparently you have an premonitions
that allow you to see into the future."

"That's right. Meaning that I know about your involvement in the deaths of Sect Leader Chang, Young Master Chang and Madam Chang."

The man dropped the cup and broke out in tears.

"It wasn't like I had a choice! I was poor and Chang Li Huang offered me a huge sum of money. My mother was sick at the time and she needed expensive treatment." He sobbed.

"I believe you. If you tell me all the details I can try and have you pardoned for your crimes. But you have to help me out."

"I had used a concentrated dose of Water Hemlock and mixed it into some osmanthus cakes under Li Huang's orders. When Sect Leader and Young Master were about to eat it, Madam Chang had walked in and tried some as well.

After they died, he payed me to keep my mouth shut. I was going to use the money to treat my mother but her condition was too severe and she died shortly afterwards. So I used the money to open this shop, since then I've saved many lives in a hope to cleanse my sins, however it's always haunted me. I think it's time for me to atone for my evil deeds."

"It looks like I was right. Very well, we can go to the magistrate right now...

However I need you to do me a favour."

They then escorted Shangguan Zhu to the magistrate.

Outside they requested an audience with  Magistrate Zhen HaiMing , who is the current magistrate from the capital.

"Why have you two cultivators requested an audience with me?" Zhen HaiMing spoke. He was an intimidating looking man with a strong build and fierce looking features.

"I, Shangguan Zhu, confess to my involvement in the murders of Chang Meili, Chang PingYun and Chang HanYu. I was under the orders of Chang Li Huang at the time. I apologise!" He said kowtowing on the floor.

"Chang Li Huang had threatened me and my mother multiple times, saying that if I didn't comply I would pay the price. For the sake of my life and my mother's I committed an unspeakable act."

"Somebody summon Sect Leader Chang here at once!"

Half an hour later, Chang Li Huang walked through the door.
He had a pompous air about him and had a face that looked like he sneered at someone every five seconds.

"Magistrate Zhen, why have I been summoned here?" He said defiantly.

Xue Yang was barely holding himself back.

"Xue Yang, calm yourself." She said grabbing his hand.
"I'll make sure he gets what he deserves. "

"Sect Leader Chang, I'll be blunt. I know everything. I know how you used Shangguan Zhu and made him poison your relatives so you could get your inheritance, then you covered it up and payed him off."

"Insolence! How dare you accuse me?! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!" He roared.

"Chang Li Huang, how dare you raise you voice in the Magistrates office! Don't even try and deny anything, Shangguan Zhu confessed everything. Guards, take him to the prison cells!"

"SHANGGUAN ZHU, YOU TRAITOR. EVEN AFTER I PAY YOU, YOU STILL BETRAY ME! HOW DARE YOU!!" He screamed, being dragged by both of his arms to the prison cell.

Xue Yang let out a shaky breath.

"You okay?"

He slowly nodded and gave a genuine smile.

'So this is what he looks like when he isn't thinking about murder. How cute.'

"Magistrate Zhen, I ask for a full pardon of Shangguan Zhu's crimes. As it is not his fault. Chang Li Huang is the true villain."
TaiFeng bowed deeply.

"Chang Li Huang is a heinous criminal, who used those around him. Knowing this fact, I have no reason to charge Shangguan Zhu. He's an upstanding doctor and has saved many lives."

TaiFeng cleared her throat and looked at Shangguan Zhu, who was still on the floor.

'I held up my end of the deal, now you'd better do the same.'

"Magistrate Zhen, I have a request."He said.

"What is it?"
He asked dubiously.

"The YueYang Chang Sect has been part of YueYang Town for generations. For it to end with Chang Li Huang would truly be a shame.

Which is why I respectfully ask for all ownership to be passed on to Qian TaiFeng."

"Qian TaiFeng? You want me to give everything to her?"
He questioned.

"Under Yuzhao Long's ownership, I'm certain the sect will prosper and once again become the pride of YueYang Town." He lowered his head.

"What do you say to this, Qian TaiFeng?" Magistrate Zhen asked.

"I believe I can restore it to it former glory, and if you'd allow it I'd be honoured to lead the sect." She bowed.

"Very well then."
He then took out a scroll and a brush and started writing.

"From this day forth I, Zhen HaiMing, hereby pass all ownership of the YueYang Chang Sect to Qian TaiFeng. This includes all possessions, land and title deeds formerly belonging to Chang Li Huang. Starting from now, YueYang Chang Sect will now be known as the YueYang Qian Sect." He said before stamping the official document and sending over to her.

"Congratulations, Sect Leader Qian."

"So now what?" Xue Yang said as they walked towards the newly appointed YueYang Qian Sect.

"I suppose I should let the disiples know that their Sect Leader has been convicted for murder."
She said turning a corner and knocking on the sects doors.

"Well then, I'll see you around, Yuzhao Long." He said before disappearing into the distance.

"I'll see you around." She whispered, hopeful for the future.

She knocked on the door as loudly as she could.
"Hello, can I help you you?" A disiple asked opening the gate.

"Well it's a long story, do you mind gathering all the disiples?"

They were then face to face with... four disiples?

"I thought I said to get all the disiples." She questioned.

"This is all of us, ever since Chang Li Huang became Sect Leader, nobody wanted to stay in the sect. So they all left until only we were left." One of them explained.

"Well, that makes this a lot easier." She said throwing the official documents at one of them.

"Open it, what does it say?" They all clamoured round.

"It says 'From this day forth I, Zhen HaiMing, hereby pass all ownership of the YueYang Chang Sect to Qian TaiFeng. This includes all possessions, land and title deeds formerly belonging to Chang Li Huang. Starting from now, YueYang Chang Sect will now be known as the YueYang Qian Sect.'"

"Really?! So now the sect belongs to her?!" They all yelled.

"That's right, so I'll give you a choice. You can either leave and save yourselves some trouble or you can help me build this sect up from the ground. It's not going to be easy and the road ahead will be filled with hardship and I can't promise anything either. So make your choice."
