"Chinese food? I just had the worst kind of vision possible, one predicting the death of two close friends and you two order Chinese food?" Jisoo cocked a brow, eyes swollen and red as she entered the kitchen.

"Well, yeah." Jax responded, tone teasing in attempt to lighten the mood.

"It's always been our ritual right? One of us has a nasty vision, loses a little strength and the other two come running with support and Chinese food." He finished, brow lifting as he smiled.

Jisoo let out a sigh, dumping her tired body on the nearest chair.

Noah looked between the two, mind working overtime as he decided what the best approach would be. "So...." He finally breathed out, prodding the dumplings with his chopsticks. "How about you start from the beginning, something tells me we've got lots to talk about."

Jisoo forced a weary smile, eyes fond as she looked over at her two friends. "Do you guys know much about werewolves?"

Jax stopped chewing, szechuan beef long forgotten as his eyes widened in what Jisoo believed to be excitement.

"If you can't tell from the way Jax is already wagging his non-existent tail; he's pretty well versed in werewolf lore."

"Whatever, there's nothing wrong with wanting to learn more about another supernatural species." Jax retorted, eyes narrowing as they fell across his warlock friend.

"Guys can we just get back on topic please, usually your banter amuses me but tonight we really need to get down to business."

The two warlocks admitted defeat for now, Noah allowing Jax to answer the question because when it came to werewolves Jax knew pretty much all there was to know.

"Like Noah said, I'm pretty much an expert, what do you need to know about them?"

Jisoo gently rubbed her temples, eyes falling across the assortment of takeout cartons. "Did you get chicken fried rice?"

Noah smirked and pushed one of the cartons across to her. "It's your favourite, of course we got some."

"Thanks, I can always count on you two." Her smile wasn't as forced this time. "Okay...." she paused to grab some chopsticks, taking a mouthful of greasy chicken before continuing. "Ever heard of Kim Namjoon and his pack?"

Jax nodded, fingers steepled beneath his chin. "I don't know all the packs because there's simply too many but I've actually heard of Namjoon, he's one of the Viridi."

"Which is basically Latin for green.... nature if you will." Noah interrupted and held his hands up in compliance when Jax shot him a 'let me handle this' glare.

"What does that mean exactly?" Jisoo questioned.

"It basically means that he's one of the good guys, he believes in peace between humanity and supernaturals."

"I'm guessing there's other types?" Jisoo asked, brow cocked inquisitively.

"There's the Bellum, they believe that supernaturals are superior and should rule over humanity. Then there's the Medius, they're basically neutral....they haven't picked a side and tend to stay out of trouble. Namjoon has been Viridi since his first transformation, he's very pro humanity and will do everything he possibly can to protect them from the likes of the Bellum."

Jisoo nodded, allowing the information to process. "Namjoon and his pack moved here a few months ago, I did the necessary reconnaissance and they didn't seem to be a threat. I informed the council and told them that I would keep a watchful eye over the pack and let them know if there was any need for concern, everything was okay until one of the pack mated with Y/N."

"FUCK OFF." Noah choked on his last dumpling, eyes bulging out of his head. "Your kindred Y/N?! Mated with a wolf?! Jisoo fuck....I'm so sorry."

Jisoo fully expected that kind of reaction, even though her kindred connection with Y/N was platonic it still hurt to know that now she had to share that connection. "It's okay, Taehyung is a really good guy and someone we can trust. It wasn't easy to gain his acceptance at first, from what I know about werewolves they don't like to share but he's learning to trust me and that's all I can ask of him for now."

"So I'm guessing since Y/N mated with this Taehyung things started to go awry."

Jisoo shook her head. "It's not entirely the mate bond between Y/N and Taehyung that's causing the issue, the problem is Min Yoongi."

"Wait." Jax's eyes widened. "Last I heard Min Yoongi was part of Hunter's pack, last I was aware Min Yoongi was Bellum."

"Yoongi left Hunter's pack, decided to join with Namjoon instead." Jisoo informed a shocked Jax.

"This isn't good, no wonder you needed us here. If Min Yoongi betrayed Hunter, who by the way is the biggest supporter of supernatural superiority and despises humanity then he won't go down without a fight and when I say fight....I mean a fucking bloodbath because nobody betrays Hunter and gets away with it."

"I figured as much, it's already been a bloodbath." Jisoo sighed. "Y/N is involved now because of her connection to Taehyung which means I'm involved because of my connection to her.....one of our friends was killed. I felt my connection to him diminish but then the strangest thing happened a few days ago, I felt him.....his essence was there but different."

Noah and Jax exchanged a look of intrigue before turning back to Jisoo.

"You think he's a supernatural now?" Noah was the one to ask.

Jisoo nodded. "I think he's a werewolf to be precise, I don't think he died but what I do know is that someone turned him....it wasn't Hunter but someone from his pack. I don't have enough information at this point to tell Y/N or the others about it....I feel awful for keeping Y/N in the dark about this, terrible that I can't tell his family that he's okay but until we know exactly what's going on this information needs to stay between the three of us."

Noah and Jax nod.

"Of course, you know you can trust us." Jax smiled as Noah hummed his agreement and Jisoo knew she could.

"So what happens next?" Noah questioned, tossing his carton in the trash.

"Hunter has a camp just across the border to Namjoon's territory, so far he hasn't made a move but it's only a matter of time. I know a member of his pack Samuel just registered at the college we attend, it's obvious Hunter is playing games with us but what exactly he wants Samuel to achieve we don't know."

Jax chewed on his bottom lip as he mulled over Jisoo's words. "The other members of Hunter's pack, do you know much about them?"

Jisoo gave a nod, hopping down off the stool and disappearing upstairs with Jax and Noah following. "I compiled a file, took some photographs and sent what I discovered to the council but there's still gaps in my knowledge. I know that this guy is the one we don't have much for, his name is Harrison." Jisoo sat down on her bed, placing the first picture down as Noah and Jax joined.

"I know he's a Beta, been with Hunter for around six years so he's loyal but that's all we know about him. I've gone through all the databases, liased with my contact at council headquarters and we can't find a surname for this guy or record, we used facial recognition but came up empty handed."

"Guy is a ghost huh?" It's what Jax feared, anyone part of Hunter's pack would be difficult to get information on because Hunter seemed to have contacts everywhere.

"Let me guess, you can't find much about any of his pack?" Jax queried.

"Not entirely the case but we'll get to that." Jisoo placed the next photo down, index finger pointing to the image.

"This is Oliva Duvernay, she's the one we know most about."

"Fuck.....'The' Oliva Duvernay? I don't know much about werewolves but even I've heard about her, she's the oldest female pure blood and pro Bellum." Noah shook his head in disbelief, he didn't know the Olivia Duvernay was part of Hunter's pack. "This bitch is crazy and when I say crazy.... I mean 'would probably boil a box full of the cutest kittens and not even flinch' crazy. I've heard fucked up stories about her and the things she's done, if she's part of Hunter's pack then we're in serious trouble."

"She's not just any pack member either, she's Hunter's mate." Jisoo informed the two stunned warlocks who didn't seem too pleased with that latest bit of information.

"This isn't looking good, if Olivia Duvernay is Hunter's mate then they've got some serious connections when it comes to pure blood werewolves and the Bellum." Jax was aware Jisoo probably already knew this but voiced his opinions anyway, this whole damn thing was most definitely going to be one giant bloodbath.

"I know, already came to that conclusion myself which is why we've got to use our connections to find help too. This...." Jisoo continued, sliding the next picture across her bed. "Is Alexandria or Lex for short, we don't have a surname and just like Harrison her records have been completely erased. Lex was sent across to Namjoon's territory but she didn't attack, just more games Hunter is playing."

"He probably sent her to check out the vicinity, see the best way for them to attack."

Jisoo nodded, agreeing with Jax. "I know, shame for her that she didn't get to stay around for long, I kicked her ass....well I used my magic to kick her ass."

Noah and Jax chuckled, Jisoo had always been the feisty one out of the three of them.

"Then we've got Cole, again as with the others his record has been wiped clean. Cole is the Subordinate, yet we know he's extremely devoted to Hunter and wants to make his way up the ranks, this makes him extremely dangerous because he'll be willing to do just about anything to prove his worth to the pack."

"Then....." Jisoo slid the second to last photograph across her bed.

"Samuel, the one who recently registered at our college. I don't know why but his focus seems to be more on Y/N and Taehyung then it does Yoongi, we know Hunter has sent him to try and cause a rift but so far he seems to be biding his time which makes me nervous."

"Then we've got Hunter, we know he isn't pure blood but there's definitely lots of hate for humans which could be Olivia's influence or something we're yet to discover but what we do know is that he's dangerous and doesn't take kindly to betrayal...he won't stop until Yoongi pays for what he's done."

Jax and Noah took a few moments to examine the evidence Jisoo had collected, going over the basics again.

"The first thing we need to do is meet with Namjoon and his pack, this means Y/N too. I know people who can help us, Noah does too but we need to know everything which means this Min Yoongi is going to have to come clean and tell us about his time with Hunter's pack." Jax wanted to meet with Namjoon, if they were going to take Hunter and his pack down they all needed to be open and honest with each other.

"I agree with Jax, can you arrange a meeting for all of us?"

Jisoo already had Namjoon's number, she could call him immediately and arrange a gathering. "I can call him tonight, get it sorted for tomorrow."

"Sounds good." Jax replied as Noah gave a nod of understanding.

They needed to meet.

They needed to devise a plan.
