*Zero's PoV, Cross Academy*

I sat in my room, just looking out to the moon. It's surprisingly a very quiet evening and I don't see Lily and Kuran or Aido and Seira walking together in the terrace like they usually do every evening.

"Ne, Zero... Aren't you going to go?" Ichiru said, who was standing against the walls within the shadows of my room.

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't be dumb. I am talking about going to the Ishigaki Islands." Ichiru stated.

"That..? Why would I-"

"Isn't it obvious because of the silence? Everyone has gone. I saw the aristocrats from the Night Class run out of here. And I heard the blond one say something about, "Kaname needs us at the Ishigaki Islands." They went to go retrieve the scroll."

My eyes widened. That's right. There are only a few more days left until Lily's 18th birthday...

I quickly took Bloody Rose, got up from bed and made my way to the door to leave. However, I stopped and slightly turned around.

"Well, aren't you coming, Ichiru?" I asked him.

"What? I'm not going. I am going to watch over Maria." He said.

"No, you don't have to, Ichiru-chan." A cheery voice echoed throughout the room.

Then I saw a bird that was perched on the windowsill. That must be her familiar..

"Maria..."

"Go help Lily and Kaname-sama... They are going to need all the help they can get."

"But I have done so much wrong..."

"You have, but by doing this you'll be able to make it up to them. So please go...For everyone's sake....and for mine as well."

"All right, I will go. To fix what I have done wrong."

"That is the spirit." Maria said happily.

The both of us then stepped out from from the Day Class dorms and quickly made our way to the Ishigaki Islands.

*Lily's PoV*

We were almost to Michiko's residence when a bunch of Ayakashi appeared in front of us.

"Damn it..." Daisuke said in a bothered tone, taking out his weapon.

"Here they come..." Hiroki said, taking out his weapon as well.

All of us took out our weapons and prepared to fight. I took out Golden Artemis and got in my fighting position.

They came flying onto us and I quickly slashed them into pieces.

Everyone began cutting down the Ayakashi one by one, however, I cringed in pain and just continued fighting. By the doctor's orders, I shouldn't be even touching a weapon, but I need to protect these children...

I should put a protection barrier around these children.. In case I get into a risky situation.

I put my hand on my belly and formed a secret protection barrier on my children.

I ran past the Ayakashi, cutting them down one by one, running away from them.

"You guys! Keep going! Hiroki and I will take care of these Ayakashi." Daisuke said confidently.

"Are you sure? This is a lot of them. I don't want you guys to-"

"We got it. Just go on and get the scroll, Lily. We'll catch up with you after we defeat these things." Hiroki said, reassuring me with his usual cheerful tone.

I smiled. "Fine but you be careful, Hiroki. Try not to get too reckless as you fight." I said.

"Don't worry. I won't. Now go on! These things are annoying me as they keep increasing." Daisuke said as he continued fighting.

"Okay, okay..." I said as I ran quickly with Kaname and the other reincarnations to the residence.

*Michiko's PoV*

I saw Kaname, Lily, and the others were almost here so I quickly hopped off my bed and made my way to the door until I felt a pair of arms around my waist.

"Don't betray me...Michiko." I heard a sad voice behind me.

No... that couldn't be... It just can't!

"K-Keiji?"

I slowly turned my head to see who was behind me but it was someone else, and I quickly pulled away.

"No. You're not Keiji! You're Yami, the man that wants Lily-sama!"

"You're correct about me being Yami, but I am also Keiji Kurono." He said in a very distant tone.

"No... I'm not going to believe that. Keiji would never even think-"

"That last day we saw each other in the hilltop... That kiss we shared. I haven't forgotten that." He said in a sincere tone.

"Why? Why are you doing this..?" I said in an upset tone.

To think... That Keiji is the one who created this big mess!

"The Kuran family both turned Keira into a vampire and killed her at the same time. That hurt me so much, up to the point that I gave myself to the Ayakashi, vowing for revenge. I don't wish to hurt you Michiko, but if you do not hand me the scroll, I have no choice. I am begging you. Please don't make me do something that I will regret."

My eyes widened at the mention of Keira's name. His little sister died? Even so, I cannot hold back. As much as I love him... I can't allow him to do as he pleases, no matter how much it hurts me.

"Don't you understand that my family's duty is to protect those six families? I must do what is absolutely necessary in order to save Lily."

"...And what about me? Don't you want to save me?" He said in a soft tone, embracing me from behind.

My eyes widened. "I-"

"Michiko, no!" A woman called to me from behind the door of my room.

The door in front of me banged open and there appeared Lily carrying Golden Artemis, along with Kaname and the four other reincarnations.

"Lily-sama...." I said.

"Don't give him the scroll, Michiko. I am begging you." Kaname said.

"Michiko, please... I simply need Lily-san to create a new world. An Ayakashi world free from vampires that bring pain to others. So that the tragedy that I had won't occur again..."

I looked at Lily, but she shook her head as if telling me not to give it to him.

I'm sorry, Keiji. But now I have a new goal in my life... And that is to save you from the depths of sadness.

Tears slowly began to fall out from my eyes. "I am sorry, Keiji..."

I then threw the scroll over to Kaname. "Do whatever you wish with me, Keiji. But I will not let you do as you please. You will not hurt Lily!" I said confidently.

He broke from the embrace, and stepped back. He was quiet for a time, and I couldn't identify his feelings.

"It's quite fine, Michiko. I will just go to Plan B. And I have no intention of hurting the woman that I continue to have feelings for." He said in an evil but lonely tone.

Didn't he just threaten me a second ago? That means if he doesn't hurt me, he truly...

"Keiji.. What are you..."

He then snapped his fingers.

Two Ayakashi appeared in the room and put a piece of cloth around Lily's mouth.

"No!" I screamed.

*Lily's PoV*

"It's quite fine, Michiko. I will just go to Plan B. And I have no intention of hurting the woman that I continue to have feelings for." He said in an evil tone.

He snapped his fingers and a piece of cloth was put around my mouth, and it smelled like chemicals. Everything all happened so fast... I went unconscious.

"Lily!"

Kaname's voice were calling to me. But I couldn't respond. It all happened very quickly. Not even he could contemplate to what was going on...

*Kaname's PoV*

Everything happened so quickly. Lily in front of my eyes, just simply disappeared. Two Ayakashis just appeared, taking her with such an incredible speed. I couldn't even make my move to do anything.

Anger began boiling within me and the windows around began to crack.

"What did you do to Lily?" I said angrily.

"I figured if you didn't give me the scroll, I would simply just take her with me for the remaining days." He said carelessly.

"Don't you understand that she bears children? Are you that stupid, Yami?" Daisuke said.

"Doesn't matter to me. Vampire children aren't born for two years and by that time, the world will be different. So... It's fine. I could care less what happens to those children she carries."

That bastard... I'll make him regret saying those words. My eyes glowed red and I made blood splatter from his shoulder.

The wound I had created on him had immediately healed. That's impossible. He is a human. He should have died with something like this.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I hit a nerve? I had almost forgot that it was your children she is carrying, Kuran. All the more better for them to die. With the power of the Ayakashis, I cannot die. I have become immortal just like you." He said in a careless tone.

My hands had formed into fists and I was prepared to fight him and annihilate him here and now, but I looked over at that girl, Michiko who looked like she was on the verge of crying.

Yami noticed this and turned around. For just a quick second, I saw his evil face become one of worry.

"I have what I need now. Nothing can stop me from my plans now. I'll see you all in 13 days...." He said, disappearing.

"No... Lily." Mari said sadly.

"We weren't able to stop him." Ryo said.

Michiko bent to the floor, with both her hands on her face. So she had a past with Yami, that's good to know. Maybe she can tell me some of his weaknesses.

I decided to kept my composure. Because even if Yami has Lily, I still have the scroll. All I need to do is rescue Lily.

Michiko's parents had burst into the room, worried.

"Everyone! Are you alright? We heard what happened up here when we returned!" Michiko's mother said.

"We are fine. And the scroll is safe. But Lily was taken by them..." Erika said.

"Oh no...." Michiko's mother said sadly.

"Michiko!" Her father said in a worried tone, going up to her.

"We'll give you guys some privacy." I said, stepping out of the room with the others in tow.

*Michiko's PoV*

After everyone had left the room, I just started crying quietly.

"Michiko, what is going on? Why are My father said.

A shadow formed over my bangs.

"Keiji....Keiji is.."

"Keiji? As in Kurono Keiji? What happened with him?" My mother said with her eyes widened.

I stayed silent. "He is Yami.... he's the one that wants to use Lily's body to destroy the world to create his own messed up world..."

"That's impossible! The Keiji we remember was-"

I then interrupted my mother's sentence.

"He no longer exists. He has been corrupted completely by the Ayakashi..."

"....Not completely." My father said.

"What are you talking about?" I said in a low voice.

"Did he do anything to you? Did he hurt you?" He added.

"No....more so.. He embraced me, and he seemed so sad. He hugged me tightly. I sensed loneliness..."

"Then if you are the only one can sense it, then...you are the only one that can save him from his loneliness." Father said.

That is impossible. How am I supposed to do that?

"Come, Michiko. Kaname and the others are waiting for us downstairs. We can talk about a resolve there." My mother said.

The duty of the Enjo family is to protect the six families of Takamagahara. We mustn't betray them no matter what. But deep within in my heart, when I gave the scroll to Kaname, I felt hurt...

The three of us went down the stairs to see the a bunch of other people with them.

"Hello, everyone. I'm glad you all were able to make it." Father stated.

"I'm guessing you have not met us before. We all serve Kaname. My name is Takuma Ichijo, a friend of Lily Adachi."

All the other vampires that serve Kaname introduced themselves and I held my smile.

I don't want to kill Keiji, or them to either... For all these years, I've been searching for him always hoping he was alive. But to now find out he is Yami...

"Now that we are all here, is there some sort of plan?" Father asked them.

*Kaname's PoV*

While we were waiting for the Enjos to finish their private conversation, I looked at the scroll and I immediately saw the full blood moon as I opened it. I then saw the words, but they were a bit faded.

There is a legend that on the night of the Cursed Princess' date of birth,

      the Full Blood Moon shines proudly in the sky. If the Princess' eternal soulmate is a vampire,

then she must give her blood to him on the midnight of her birthday, even if it is a pureblood

vampire. But that vampire must have some of the Princess' unique powers. With those powers

combined, the curse of the Adachi family will finally be lifted eternally....

My eyes widened in surprise. I must turn Lily into a vampire to save her life? How can that be possible when she told me specifically not to? Turning her into a Level E is even worse than death...

After reading the scroll, I carefully rolled it back to how it was and stayed silent.

As all of us sat in silence, a maid came in, escorting Ichijo and the others. To my surprise, I saw Kiryu and his twin brother as well.

"Where's Lily?! Is she okay?" The older Kiryu said.

No one answered. However, I broke the silence.

"Yami and his Ayakashi servants took her. Everything went by so fast, I didn't have time to make my move." I said in an emotionless tone, holding back my incredibly immense anger.

"Are you serious, Kuran?! You let her get taken away?!" He said angrily.

"Kiryu-kun, please calm yourself. I am not happy about this either. But he will not go as far as to hurt her. She is his vessel. He is keeping her somewhere where we cannot find her." I said, keeping my calm.

"So what is the plan then? What are we going to do?" Seira said worriedly.

"Here is what we need to do. I have a plan." I began to explain the plan to everyone.

*Lily's PoV*

Silence.

That is all that I hear in my surroundings. I slowly opened my eyes, not having any idea where I am. I felt that I was laying down on a soft, fluffy bed. A blank white wall is the only thing that I saw when I first opened my eyes.

I slowly sat up from the bed, and the room was actually very fancy. What..? I'm not in a cell?

"Ugh...My head hurts." I said, sitting up from bed, with my hand on my forehead.

The room was dark and when I looked down, I realized that I was wearing a black nightgown.

What is this...?

"I see that you have finally awakened, Lily-san." A low voice spoke from the corner.

I saw that there was a dark corner in the room and there was someone standing against the wall, arms crossed.

He stepped out and came over to me.

"Yami..."

"Hello there. Finally I get to speak face to face with my precious little vessel." He said with a smirk.

"Vessel? You are still continuing to say these things?"

"Your precious Kuran-san is never going to find you down here."

"Where am I? And why do you have me in a room and not in a cell?"

"You are underground in my secret base. And the reason to why I don't have you in a cell is because well...I will be using you after your spirit leaves your body. But look at the bright side, sweetie. Your spirit will still be tied to Kuran-san. So that is something for you to look forward to." Yami said with a smirk.

Then the thought of Michiko's upset face came to my mind.

"...What about Michiko? I saw her sad face. She was really unhappy with the fact that you are doing all of this." I said.

He stayed silent, but after a minute he spoke.

"I do not care what she thinks." He said, a shadow forming under his bangs.

"...Do you really think that? Or are you just trying to hide your true feelings?" I said.

"Heh, why would you tell me that? I am always open with my feelings. I told Michiko I still love her. But despite the both of us loving each other, we are at odds. If I must fight her, then I'll do what I must. I'll do anything to wipe out the remaining Kuran. That counts the two other ones within you as well. They are your children, but they carry the Kuran bloodline. I want to wipe out the Kurans completely."

"About that... Why are you getting revenge on them again?"

"His descendant, Haruka killed my sister. And that monster brother of his, Rido turned her into a Level E. Wouldn't you feel the same way if they did that to your siblings, your family?"

I looked away.

"I would be angry... But I wouldn't go as far as to taking a life. That is just wrong."

"That is how hurt I am... What I saw hurt me deeply. It angered me, but made me feel lonely at the same time. Everything I'm doing is for my sister."

My hands formed into fists. "What did Kaname ever do to you? Just because he's from the Kuran family, you're just going to kill him just like that?"

"Yes."

Under the covers, I checked to find Golden Artemis or Bloody Diamond. But none of them were in my possession.

Where are they?

"You looking for these, Miss Adachi?" He said, showing me that he had both weapons in his hands.

"What? How?"

"When one of my maids were changing you, I had asked her to give me your weapons. I knew you were going to point one of those things at me."

I looked up at the ticking clock and it read 7:00 am. But I am still tired... I barely got sleep.

"Get some rest. Later, come to the dining room for lunch. I am sure you are going to wake up during lunch."

He stepped out of the room and when he left, I sighed and laid back down in bed.

"I'm so tired, I don't care whether I'm in this creepy place or not..." I said to myself in a soft voice.

I slowly closed my eyes and fell asleep.

*Kaname's PoV*

I stood outside in the Enjo residence's balcony, looking out to the distance. The sun has risen, and it is shining brightly in the sky.Lily... where can you possibly be?

I told everyone the plan that I had in mind. Yami is still in the Ishigaki Islands, that I know. He is somewhere where we might not even think to look. I sent Kain and Aido to check out the woods where Lily may have been taken to.

"Kaname-sama, you should get some rest... You haven't even laid in bed for a long time, not even changed your clothes..."

I turned around and I saw that Ruka was standing against the balcony door with blood tablets in water.

She is right. I'm still wearing my suit from the night of the ball.

She came up to me and handed me the glass; I drank it all in one sip.

"Lily-san is going to be okay. I'm sure your plan will go smoothly." She said in such a reassuring tone.

"And why are you so worried about her? Don't you hate her?" I said coldly.

"I did. I hated and despised her so much. But I've come to realize...that she is the only woman that can make you happy. The one that brings the true you to light. I was surprised as well. All of us in the Night Class actually thought Yuuki-sama was the one for you. But we were all truly wrong. And as for my feelings for you... I was stupid. My feelings were one-sided, and I never realized it myself. I was in my own little world, lost in euphoria. For that, I apologize. To you and Lily-san both."

"Ruka..."

"So... I'll do my best to protect you and Lily-san both so that you two can finally have your happy ending together. To make sure that what happened 9,000 years ago does not repeat."

I smiled at her words. She finally understands, does she?

"Thank you." Those were the only words that I spoke as I made my way back into the residence to change and refresh myself.

Lily... Just wait. I will come and save you.

*12:05 pm*

I opened my eyes and quickly sat up in bed. So none of this was a dream... It all happened.

I noticed that everything was still dark. I stood up from bed and went to the window, pushing the curtains aside. I noticed that Yami was right. We are in some underground castle...

"Lily-sama, are you awake?" A maid said as she softly knocked on the door.

"Yes."

The door slowly opened, and an innocent looking maid stepped in the room.

"I brought your outfit for the day." She said.

I was surprised that these people are actually treating me this way. But that's only because I'm Yami's precious vessel.

"Thanks..." I said, taking the outfit.

It was a casual outfit; just a pair of black leggings, a white t-shirt, and some flats.

"Lord Yami wants you to wear this as well."

She handed me a blood-red diamond necklace with a golden chain.

"And why do I need to wear this?" I asked curiously.

"He didn't tell me why. He just told me to tell you. I'll take my leave now. Please come down for lunch when you are ready." She said.

"Whatever.." I said.

She bowed and left the room.

I looked out the window and only one person was on my mind.

"Kaname...." I said sadly.

I felt like tears were threatening to fall from my eyes. No. I have to be strong... for him.

I have to find a way out of here.... I don't know if it is even going to be possible for them to find me. Maybe during lunch, I can look around and see if there is a way out.

I changed my clothes and I put the necklace in my pocket. That's just strange that he gave me this out of the blue.

I went out of the room and looked around. For a place being underground, this looks really nice. The style is like a medieval kind, but it was still pretty fancy..

I looked around to see if there was a way out. But from what I can point out, I don't see a way out anywhere.

"Looking for an escape route, Lily-san?" Someone called out from behind me.

I jumped and turned around, only to see Yami standing behind me.

"What do you think?" I said with a smirk.

"Well I am sorry to inform you that you cannot leave from this place unless you are accompanied by one of us. If you are even lucky enough to escape, you will still be at risk to die by other Ayakashi monsters."

I sighed in annoyance.

Uggh...

"Now come. You must be starving after that long battle. We wouldn't want my vessel to die of hunger, now wouldn't we...?" He said with a smirk.

Yami then escorted me to the dining room, where there was a variety of food on the table.

I sat on the table with him and just asked for something simple. I chose to have a salad with with some fried chicken on the side.

As we were eating, Yami asked me a question.

"So...what did you see in that Kuran guy in the first place? He's a deadly bloodthirsty vampire."

"I just fell in love with him. Don't you feel the same with Michiko?"

"Heh.. Michiko. She hasn't changed a bit. I guess I can agree with you. I fell in love with her as well when we were younger, and I do continue to have feelings for her. But I am not going to explain to you my entire story."

I sighed in annoyance. 'What is your reason for using me to create a new Ayakashi world?"

He laughed. "You don't even know your hidden power don't you? Oh... that's right. You haven't even used it before so you don't know what it is. Well... Let me tell you this, Lily-san. You have the same abilities as the grand Amaterasu himself. You can destroy an entire world to nothingness, or recreate a new world. But... in order for you to recreate a new world, I am using your curse to keep you alive so that the destruction is brought forth, therefore using your hidden powers to create my world. That is why you have incredible healing abilities, the ability to save someone from the verge of death... Even though you cannot bring someone back to life..." He said with an evil smirk on his face.

My eyes widened. How did he know about my hidden powers?

"I know many, many things my dear Lily. I'm the one that brought you and Kaname back together after 9,000 years. I'm the one who implanted those dreams into the both of you. You both should be grateful. You can pay me back like this."

"I will never. I am grateful for what you did but I cannot let you do what you please."

"Actually, yes you can." He said with an evil smirk.

I then noticed that black mist surrounded me and with that, everything before me went dark.

"How...How did you..."

"That red necklace... was supposed to protect you from Ayakashi possessing you. But I knew you wouldn't wear it, so now I finally have you...In your most vulnerable state.... Just a few days before your predestined death..."

*Kaname's PoV*

Kaname... Please hurry and come. Stop Yami.... And do anything necessary to stop him. Don't let my appearance fool you...

I opened my eyes from my rest. That was her. Don't tell me that Yami already...

"No... Lily!" I quickly got up from the bed and left the Enjo residence on my own.

They may have not found where Lily is located yet, but I will find her and stop that monster. I promised to save her, and I will no matter what.

The sun shined proudly in the sky, and went to the place where I sensed a great amount of Ayakashi energy...

The day is coming.

Hang in there, Lily. I'm coming....
