*Yuuki's PoV*

A cloudy evening. The moon is being covered by the clouds, and it looks like the weather isn't going to be nice tonight...

I nervously walked behind Maria back to the old Night Class dorms. Night was already falling so the Day Class girls were already in their dorms. Although I'm pretty sure that Zero and the others are patrolling right now. I don't want them to see me help Shizuka with her plan to end Lily's life.

"What? Are you scared now, Yuuki? Killing her will rid your worries. The path to be with Kaname will open once again. You'll have both Kaname and Zero running back to you, just like before Lily had come to this school. You want things to be the way they were right?"

I stayed silent and thought back to the time I met Lily.

"I'm Lily! I hope that we can be great friends, Yuuki!" She said cheerfully.

"Me too!" I said happily.

That was before I realized that she was in love with Kaname. She used me to get closer to Kaname, didn't she? I hate Lily. More than anything else in this world.

Her words echoed in my head once again.

"The both of us ended up falling in love! Not only because of who we were in the past 9,000 years ago, but also how we met now!"

It's not fair... Kaname and Lily share an inseparable bond... And because of her, Kaname even slapped me in the face!

I will take her life, if I must. She will regret everything she has done to hurt me. The man that was always by my side ever since I was born; the one who encouraged me, gave me hope for the future to live on is gone. No longer by my side... As for Zero, the one who always was there for me during the rough times when I wasn't at my best. The one who always put a smile on my face... is also gone as well.

"We are here." Maria said, getting me out of my thoughts.

I looked around, it was somewhere deep in the Night Class dorms. There, I saw Shizuka's sleeping body encased in ice. And I saw Zero's twin brother Ichiru as well looking up to where she slept.

"Ichiru... Why do you continue to look at my body, if my conscience is here in this girl's body?"

Ichiru turned around. "Forgive me, Lady Shizuka."

"Hey, don't worry about it. This is the time in which my body will be necessary to use. The time has finally come and the fun is about to begin. Yuuki has agreed to help." She stated.

Ichiru looked at me in surprise. "You? I thought that you would actually take their side. Why have you decided to help us?"

I stayed silent.

"That does not matter. All that matters is that we have gained yet another ally. And, someone else has agreed to help us as well..."

A man walked out of the shadows.

"I am called Yami. You, Miss Kuran...your sadness and hatred for Lily Adachi was what triggered my awakening... I must thank you. Thanks to you, I will finally be able to get my revenge..." He said with an evil smile.

*Maria's PoV, flashback*

A man with black hair and dark brown eyes appeared recently to me before going to get Yuuki. I figured since she hates Lily, she would be able to finish the job.

"I will lend you my power on one condition. Do not kill Lily Adachi, for I will use her as a vessel to kill Kaname Kuran."

"Kill Kaname, huh. How very interesting. All right..."

"I must weaken Lily, however I will need yet another vessel who's soul has been tainted by hatred and anger in order for this to work."

"We can use Yuuki Kuran, Kaname's younger sister. She is one that is filled with hate, envy, and anger. With Yuuki, you can weaken Lily."

"Ah, yes. Her. She is perfect. Her hate and anger is what awakened me. She would make a great vessel, for the time being. But...."

*end of flashback*

He does plan on killing Yuuki as well, as she is related to Kaname. But what I wonder is... Why does he wish to wipe out the Kuran family?

"As reported from my Ayakashi soldiers, they haven't sensed Lily or Kaname's presence however...something is odd with those two." Yami stated.

So he is not the only one who's sensed something odd.

"Their souls are not in their respectful bodies. Kaname's soul is in Lily's body, and vice versa..."

"How is that even possible?" Ichiru stated.

"Even I myself do not know the answer to that." I stated.

"So when are we supposed to conduct this plan?" Yuuki said timidly.

"Once Kaname and Lily switch back to their respectful bodies. This happened unwillingly. Those two had no intention to switch bodies, it's like it happened all of a sudden." Ichiru stated.

Yami sighed. "It's probably the doing of some spell caster from Takamagahara... What a pain." He said in an annoyed tone.

"Let's lay low for now, and get my body out of that ice. We will plan when to make the first move."

*Lily's PoV*

Kaname and I made our way to Cross Academy's entrance, passing the gates.

However, I sensed a very negative presence here at the Academy; an Ayakashi's presence. And it's not just an ordinary Ayakashi presence... It is even more powerful than an average one...

As I walked ahead, I noticed that Kaname stopped and I turned around.

"What's wrong, Kaname? Do you sense it as well?"

"Well, yes... Something very sinister that makes one's head hurt." Kaname said, putting my hand on my forehead.

"Let's just ignore it for now. I want to get this over with." I said in a bit of a desperate tone.

"Hehe, alright." Kaname said with a small laugh.

Kaname and I then made our way to the Moon Dorms. I made sure to straighten my posture and put an emotionless expression on his face. As for Kaname, he slouched and put a very cheerful smile on my face.

I opened the door to the Moon Dorms, and I saw that all of the Night Class students were sitting in the living room, drinking tea, and when they saw me and I mean my body, Takuma ran up to us.

"Lily-chan! You're alright! Oh my goodness, you had us all worried!" Takuma said hugging Kaname tightly.

I noticed that Kaname was somewhat twitching, and slowly put my arms around him.

"It's great to be back, Ich- I mean, Takuma." Kaname said, forcing a smile.

Usually Kaname gets jealous, so...

"Ichijo..." I said in a deep, jealous tone.

"Oh, Kaname! I'm sorry. I'm just happy that you were able to find her." He said, breaking the embrace.

"It was not easy, but I was able to get her to forgive me."

I then noticed that Kaname embraced me.

"It was hard. I originally wasn't going to forgive Kaname, but I noticed that when he found me almost unconscious beyond the flames of that villa, I heard his sorrowful words. I felt his regret and I noticed that truthfully, he really loves me. So, he and I are alright now." Kaname stated, holding me tighter.

Wow, he is playing my part really well...

"Wow, Kaname! I never thought you'd show yourself to a member of the Senate's villa! You put yourself at risk just for her."

"Yes. I will do anything for her. Because she is the woman that I want to spend my life with."

"Kaname..."

I'm honestly kind of curious to know how Yuuki's doing. What did Kaname even do to her.

"Ichijo. How has Yuuki been doing?" I asked curiously.

Kaname looked over at me, eyes widened.

"Yuuki? Well, she's been locked in her room. She hasn't left ever since the other night you left her." Takuma explained.

"I'm going. Lily, come with me." I stated.

Confused, Kaname walked behind me.

As we went up the stairs, Kaname whispered to me.

"Lily, what are you doing? You need not worry about her anymore."

"I just can't come to hate her, even when she's hurt me so much. I may have said things about her, but I didn't say those words from the bottom of my heart."

"You really are just too kind, Lily." Kaname said with a smile.

The both of us made our way to Yuuki's room, and I knocked on the door.

"Yuuki, It's Kaname. May I enter?" I said.

No response.

The door was unlocked, so I opened it.

"Yuuki?"

When Kaname and I entered the room, Yuuki was not there.

"Where could she have gone..." Kaname stated.

"Look! The window is open! She couldn't have..."

"Yuuki is so reckless..." Kaname said with a sigh.

"Actually, she didn't go that far. From what I sense, she is at...the old Night Class dorms with 3 other presences: Maria, Ichiru, and....a very unknown negative presence. A presence that's giving me the chills."  I said, putting my arms around me.

"This is getting very serious. We need to stop this immediately."

Then I heard Yoshio's voice echo around the room.

"Kiss!"

"What?!" I said surprised.

"If you kiss, both of you will be back to normal! It seems like things are getting serious down there...and I can't leave Takamagahara at the moment, so just kiss and and you'll be back to normal."

"T-that's weird! Kissing myself? That's just..."

" Well that's what I can do for ya both right now. Yes or no?"

"It's fine, Lily. Just close your eyes, and I'll take it from here."

"Eh?!"

Then all of a sudden Kaname had jumped on me, bringing my legs around his waist, and bringing my arms around his neck.

"What are you..."

"I told you, I'll take it from here. I do not see myself, I see you. The one within my body is Lily Adachi, my precious lover..."

I blushed. Kaname's speaking in my voice, and the tone he is speaking to me is just like him...

I slowly closed his eyes and before I knew it, a pair of lips touched me and a faint white glow became a bigger one.

Eventually, the glow died down, and I slowly opened my eyes. In front of me, was Kaname himself. The Kaname I know and love.

"It's been a while, Lily."

"Kaname!"

I quickly put my arms around him, embracing him tightly.

"It actually does feel better to be back in my body."

"Well, of course. My body gets tired very easily..."

"And your chest was heavy as well. I feel much lighter now."

I blushed heavily.

"By the way, you're pretty bold. Putting us in this position." He said teasingly.

"T-that's your fault! You're responsible for this!" I said with a blush.

"Really...? But you are the one that jumped on me. You need to do something about that." He said, bringing his face closer.

"N-not now! We have to find Yuuki right now..."

Kaname sighed. "Guess I'm going to have to make due with this..." He said, bringing our lips together for a slow but passionate kiss.

I then stood up and looked around for clues.

"A-anyways... Do you have any idea why she would be in the old Night Class dorms?" I asked curiously.

Then it clicked in my head.

"Shizuka..." Kaname whispered.

"What do you think she is going to do with her?"

"Not do anything... I think Yuuki left with Shizuka willingly. She is up to something. And that negative presence..."

If we continue not doing anything, then things are going to get worse.

"Let's go. To where Yuuki is." I said.

"I knew you would say that." He said, smiling.

"Well, we have to face the danger eventually. So might as well face it now." I stated.

"Of course you would say that. You are a vampire hunter after all. You are trained to face danger."

"Yep. So let's get going." I said in a resolved tone.

The both of us then jumped out of the open window and made our way to the old Night Class dorms.

Yuuki has been a egotistic, envious two-timing little brat, but truthfully she is just angry because she loves Kaname and Zero both. I feel pity for her.

Because of this hatred that she has for me, she and I weren't able to get know each other and become good friends. My only wish is that she escapes from this hatred and anger that lies deep with her heart, and becomes the sweet and gentle girl she was when I met her.

As the both of us were getting closer to the old Night Class dorms, I saw that Aido and Seira were running up to us.

"Lily, Kaname!" Seira called out to us as she and Aido got closer to us.

"You guys... Why are you here?"

"Seira and I were walking around and we saw the both of you here. Welcome back, Lord Kaname, Lily. I'm glad that you are alright." He said sincerely.

"Thank you. And the reason for this is because... I'm going to finish everything. I need to kill Shizuka. And I know her body is over there. Plus, Yuuki disappeared and it seems that she is over there."

"Adachi!" I heard Zero's voice in the distance. He was running up to us.

"Zero..."

"I sensed that you were here, so I came running right away to where you were. You're going to finish everything off, aren't you..."

"Yes, but..."

"I want in. I told you before, I will help you end her life. I want to get revenge on the woman that killed my parents and corrupted my brother."

"Fine..." I said.

Then came Daisuke and Hiroki carrying their vampire hunter weapons as well.

"Count us in, Lily! We are going to help you guys, 'cause we are on your side!" Hiroki said cheerfully.

Itsuki came as well behind them, carrying his two daggers.

"I'm going to help you as well, Lily...and Kuran as well."

Kaname's eyes widened in surprise. "You? Help me?"

"Well, you are Lily's boyfriend after all. I have to be nice, of course. But don't get me wrong. I may be nice to you, but I still hate you." He said with a smirk.

"I, as well. So I will not do anything to you to not cause problems." Kaname stated.

"What about the others?" I asked Kaname curiously.

"You mean Ichijo? They know what is going on, as they can sense the situation. They will come when it is absolutely necessary. For now, it's fine with just us." Kaname stated as we continued walking.

"All right..."

"Lily... I didn't know you were so submissive." Seira said with a smirk.

"W-what are you blabbering about? I am not submissive!" I said nervously with a deep red blush.

"Mm-hmm. That's what everyone says when they want to keep it a secret. It's ok. Kaname already seems like a very dominant man. He's probably's the one that takes the lead in bed." She said with a chuckle.

"Seira, what we do under the covers is a very private matter."

"But uh, hello? It's obvious by just looking at you guys. Purebloods in bed are probably like that all the time, with their dominant aura." Seira said, not caring at all.

I blushed all the way up to my ears. "J-just stop talking about that and let's focus the matter at hand!" I said in a loud tone, nervously.

I then walked ahead of everyone. That's when I felt it. Yuuki had a gun pointed at my forehead, however... She wasn't herself at all.

"Leave Kaname...And I won't kill you." Yuuki said in a very envious tone.

"What the hell, Yuuki!" I said angrily as I took out Bloody Diamond.

"Don't move a finger, Lily. Or I really will pull the trigger and kill you!" She said angrily.

"Don't ever underestimate a vampire hunter, Yuuki." I said, kicking her from behind taking the gun from her hand, pointing Bloody Diamond at her.

"What has gone into you, Yuuki? Why are you acting this way? Is it because of Kaname? Zero? Me?"

"All of you! I hate you all! Especially you, Lily. Oh, how much I despise you. You don't know how desperately I'm waiting until your predestined death. I'll be laughing when I see you dead in the ground."

"Yuuki, That's enough." Kaname said angrily.

"NO! I always get what I want, no matter what! And I'll do anything...Anything to assure that this girl dies!"

"Yuuki. Why must you be like this? What happened to the nice and gentle Yuuki that I met when I first came to Cross Academy?"

"That Yuuki... is gone forever. She will never come back. This is me now." She said, her voice wavering.

She is lying. She just has to me.

"Don't say that... I'm sure...I'm sure she will come back. Right now, you're corrupted by hatred and envy. You aren't like this truly."

"SHUT UP!!!" She screamed.

I saw that black mist surrounded her. That is the Ayakashi I sensed when I got here. No. More like a human who has been completely corrupted by the power of the Ayakashi.

"Kill...Kill...Kaname Kuran!" She hissed running over to Kaname.

I quickly took out Golden Artemis, and blocked her from going further. She is possessed. There is another soul within her.

"Get out of my way!" She screamed in anger.

Then, out of nowhere a sword appeared on Yuuki's hand, and she went running up to Kaname, flailing around trying to get him.

"She's gone mad!" Hanabusa said in surprise, using his ice powers to stop Yuuki.

*Yuuki's PoV*

"SHUT UP!" I screamed in anger.

I no longer have good in me. The only thing I now know is hatred. I despise Lily for taking what is mine and mine only. And I'll kill her... to take back what is rightfully mine.

I then noticed that a black mist surrounded me and everything before me went blank...

A few minutes later after I woke up, I found myself in a dark and desolate place. It was a forest with nothing but darkness and that feeling of loneliness, no one here with me.

"Incredible. Looking at your records, you truly are a nice girl as Lily stated. You are simply corrupted only because things did not go the way you wanted them." A man's voice echoed around me.

Before me, a man with long white hair appeared before me.

"W-who are you?! And what do you want?" I asked nervously.

"I'm someone who is really close to Lily.  My name is Amaterasu. I am someone who has known her for almost a decade. And from she said you truly are a nice girl. You've just had some very bad intentions simply because things aren't going the way you want. You're in love with her eternal soulmate."

"What the hell is an eternal soulmate?" I said in a very bothered tone.

"To put it simply, an eternal soulmate is someone who was born to be with that specific person. It's like they are each other's destiny. In Lily's case as you know, she and Kaname were lovers in a past life. She wished in the past to be reincarnated and fall in love with him again. By fate, they met again in Cross Academy."

"So you are trying to explain to me that Lily and Kaname are inseperable soulmates?"

"Well, hello? That is where the words "eternal soulmate" comes from. Let's say this, and I'm going to say this very honestly. Kaname never truly and genuinely loved you. He may have given you all this love but it was not true love. He loved you, but there was a space in his heart that was missing."

I stayed silent.

"Listen to me when I tell you that Lily is a very kind girl. She didn't mean to hurt you in any way. It just so happened that that she and Kaname met again and fell in love. I am asking you, Miss Yuuki. Do not act this way towards Lily. She is actually really worried about you."

"Her? Worried about me? She isn't. She hates me just as much as I do." I said, looking away.

"She does not hate anyone, nor does she hate you. Sure...you angered her quite a few times but she won't hate you."

Lily doesn't hate me? After everything I've done to her?

"Listen. You need to open your eyes to reality. What happened between you and Kaname is over. You must understand that, however you must pay for what you've done."

I thought back to when Lily and I were friends. It wasn't for a very long time, but if she and I were friends longer, we could have shared a great friendship.

"You need to stop this mess right now. For starters, Lily is carrying children. You cannot let Yami do as he wishes. He is out to kill your family. He is using your body as a vessel, Yuuki. Please. Lily has gone through so much in her life, not just her life now but her past life. Let those two sort things out for themselves. Regain the pure heart that you once had, and free yourself from the anger that corrupts you! Only you can do that!"

My eyes widened as tears began to fall out from my eyes. "It's too late for that! I must do what I must do. I will kill Lily! That is my goal now. No one cares about me... Everyone hates me. And now I will kill Lily, the one who took everything from me.

"I told you. Lily did not take anything away from you. Things just went a different path, that is all. Things are changing, Yuuki. Things will never go back to the way before Lily and her siblings came to Cross Academy. That much I know. Start anew in a new life, Yuuki... This life is not for you. You don't belong in this life." He spoke to me truthfullly

He is right. I don't belong here. Even if I survived all of this mess, I can't bear seeing Kaname and Lily together, or at most Zero with another girl... I think I'll be happier if I was reborn in a completely different time or world, and I just forgot about all of this... Maybe... I'll find someone that truly loves me...

*Lily's PoV*

"Someone, stop her!" Itsuki shouted.

I quickly ran to where Yuuki was about to stab Kaname, however before Kaname was going to make his move, I blocked her attack with my Golden Artemis.

"It isn't you I'm after! I am going to kill this man!!! His family killed my sist-"

However, it seems for a time, Yuuki was herself again, interrupting the Ayakashi guy's sentence.

"Hey, Lily. Kill me."

My eyes widened.

"What did you just say?!"

"Kill me! I want you to kill me!"

"B-but! Why?" I said, lost for words.

"Look, I'm sorry ok?! I'm sorry I hurt you, I'm sorry I did all these terrible things, despite you not hating me, I'm really, really sorry Lily! I was only thinking about myself and not you, Kaname or anyone! So I'm begging you, kill me!"

"I-I can't! What about the headmaster, your friends, everyone!" I said out loud.

Yuuki smiled, tears coming out of her eyes.

"I-I don't belong here with you all. Even if I did stay alive I would stay here heartbroken, not having Kaname or Zero by my side. So please, I beg of you. Kill me. I don't have a place with you all." Yuuki said, looking away.

"I'm not killing you! I don't think I am capable to do so! I just can't!"

"Then, you kill me Kaname!" Yuuki said.

"Yuuki.."

"Are you stupid, girl? Your revenge would have been all for nothing!" The man said, trying to take over Yuuki's body again.

"Kill me, Kaname!" Yuuki screamed.

Kaname walked ahead of me, taking Golden Artemis from my hands.

The booming of thunder was then heard from the sky.

"Kaname...what are you doing?"

"I am going to kill her. She is right... Let's not let her suffer anymore."

"No...Kuran! I will kill you! I will wipe out the entire Kuran family!" The man said, trying to regain control.

"Kill me, please!" She pleaded.

Yuuki was then silenced. Kaname had stabbed her deep in the heart, and I heard the splatter of blood.

Both my hands were on my mouth.

Everything was silent. It's as if time stopped.  Yuuki fell back and Kaname had caught her. The dark mist had left her body and had made its way back to the old Night Class dorms.

I quickly ran over to where Yuuki was on the ground.

"To be in your arms like this, Kaname....I'm happy that as my life ends, I'm here in your arms now..." She said in a hoarse voice.

She then slowly turned her head over to me.

"Lily...I'm sorry." Her trembling hand slowly moved over to mine, clenching my hand tightly.

"I'm sorry I hurt you... I'm sorry I made you suffer. I'm sorry that we weren't able to become friends. And I'm sorry I tried to take the only man you love away from you..."

Yuuki then began to fade.

"Hey, Lily? If we ever meet again, can we be truly friends?" She said sincerely.

Tears fell out of my eyes as I smiled. "Of course."

All of us surrounded Yuuki.

"Zero... Thank you. I hope you find happiness as well...Goodbye, everyone..." She stated, closing her eyes with a smile.

And with that, Yuuki had faded into dust, small little white butterflies scattering around.

"Why...? Why did she realize her mistake now, when she died?" I said in a soft, quiet voice.

"....She was right about one thing. She did not belong here. She had said it herself. If she remained here with us, she would continue being a hateful, despicable person. It was better off just ending her life." Kaname said emotionlessly.

He just killed her,  without feeling a bit of emotion...

"Yuuki hurt you. I will never forgive her for that. That is why I had no problem killing her." Kaname said holding out his hand, helping me up.

"But...the Headmaster... What are we going to tell him?" Aido said.

"It will hurt him... But it was the right thing to do. She asked for death herself."

"There is still one more thing to take care of now, and that is for me to end Shizuka's life." I stated.

"...Yes." Kaname said, looking over to the old Night Class dorms.

"Tonight will be Shizuka's fall." Zero said angrily.

"Let's go, everyone!" I said as Kaname and I began to run ahead of everyone.

"Yes!" They all said in unison.

Shizuka Hio, it is finally time to meet your end and pay for all the sins you have committed...
