*Lily's PoV, the next morning*

I softly opened my eyes, hearing the chirping of birds in the morning. The sun shines proudly in the sky, clouds scattering. I looked to my side, and saw him sleeping like a little baby, covering himself from the sun with the blanket.

So cute... I thought to myself as I moved his soft brown hair to the side. I need to go to the Association today and tell them I'm alright. If I don't go, the other hunters might worry.

I slowly sat up from bed. Right when I was about to get up to go for a bath, I felt Kaname's hand.

"Where are you going, Lily?" He mumbled, with his eyes still closed.

I squeezed his hand. "Don't worry. I'm going to call Yagari to tell them I'm fine. So just keep resting, alright?"

"I am not tired anymore. I'm going to go take a bath while you make the call. You can join me if you would like after. It might relax you a bit." He said with a smile.

I blushed. "I'll consider it..."

I took out my phone and dialed Yagari's number.

"Yagari Toga speaking."

"This is Adachi."

"Lily?! You're alright?"

"Yeah. Thanks to Kaname, I've recovered."

"So he's your boyfriend, huh. Are you two alright now?"

"Yeah. We are." I said happily.

"Then I don't want you going on anymore dangerous missions. You have your lover to be with plus you still have that mission to kill that pureblood. Don't force yourself any more. Better said, don't come back here to risk your life. Enjoy this break that you have now. Be lucky the Association President's goin' easy on you. I'll tell the others you're alright."

"Ok then. Bye."

"And one more thing. I saw your fighting. You're pretty good."

"Hehe, thanks...."

"Take care."

"Alright. See you."

I hung up the phone and smiled. 

"Finally someone notices my skills and on top of that, a senior hunter!" I said quietly in an excited tone.

"Lily." I heard Kaname's voice from the bathroom.

"Oh! Yes, Kaname?"

"I'm waiting for you."

"But I didn't even say-"

"I know you are going to say yes."

I blushed. "I'm coming..."

I got my outfit for today ready.

*Lily's outfit for the day*

Ok, all set. Now, to go take that bath...

I undressed, leaving myself completely bare and wrapped a towel around myself. Taking a bath together... It's become a habit for us when we are alone.

He's seen you like this plenty of times, Lily. Calm down..

I slowly opened the door and when I entered, I saw him in the tub sitting to its right. He looked at me and smiled.

"The water is very nice and warm for a cold morning such as today. Come in."

I blushed. "It's been a while since we've done this, we haven't done this since the both of us were back at the Ishigaki Islands."

"I know. It's been lonely without you." He said in a bit of a lonely tone.

So he's felt the same way, huh...

"T-turn around. It's been awhile since we did this..."

"Alright..."

When he turned around, I slowly took my towel off, steadily making my way to the tub.

I sat down and turned around. I'm too nervous...

"Here, let me help you take your nervousness away..." He said in a soft voice.

I then felt both of his hands take me from behind, gently pushing me against his bare chest.

"I missed you. I can't believe I have you in my arms again. I really thought you weren't going to forgive me."

"Love is a powerful thing, Kaname. When you unconditionally love someone you can't just forget that person just like that. Sure, you may think terrible things about the person but you can't help but still love them..." I said.

"Did you feel that way when you ended your engagement with Itsuki?"

"I'm not going to lie. For two months, I felt depressed, upset and betrayed after that night I found him with another woman. I loved him. As time passed, I realized that Itsuki was not meant for me. And what about you with Yuuki?" I asked curiously.

"Yuuki... Well I loved her at one point, but our relationship never went as far as becoming lovers. You see, her feelings are all over the place. She loves Zero, she loves me. It's a mess.  Then with the dreams I had with you, things continued to change.  My feelings for her completely disappeared. But enough talk about our past interests, let's just focus on us now and the future."

"Yeah... I guess you are right. All of that is in the past now." I said with a smile.

About 20 minutes later, the both of us had got out from the tub and had gotten dressed for the day.

I was blow drying my hair as I then heard a twinkling bell.

I turned it off and looked around the room, standing up as I did so.

"What's wrong, Lily?" Kaname asked me curiously.

"Did you hear that?" I said.

"No, I haven't. What is it?"

"It's the ringing of a bell. I have a feeling like I've heard it before but I can't put my head to it." I said.

He chuckled.

"A twinkling bell?" He asked curiously.

"Yes..."

"I know who that is. This takes me back. You used to get so annoyed with him, but you were also very close friends with him." Kaname said.

"What? I don't remember.."

"It's someone from Takamagahara. He is known as the "Master Prankster". Doesn't that ring a bell?"

"Wait... Isn't he the one that constantly pranked us all the time? Not just us, but the other 5 ancestors?"

"Yes. He loves seeing people get angry when he pranks them. He rings his little bell around on the next person he wants to prank. Luckily because I'm a vampire, I cannot hear it. But you on the other hand..."

The bell rang again.

"It's been so long since I last saw him! We should follow the bell and go say hi! Maybe he just wants to talk and catch up!"

"Lily... You do realize that he just wants to prank us, right?"

"Oh, come on! It's probably not even that big of a prank. He might just do something dumb."

He sighed. "Possibly, but you know he has that nickname for a reason. He isn't part of the six ancestral families of Takamagahara, correct?"

I pondered this for a bit. "Now that you mention it, no. His name is Yoshio Ogawa, he is an immortal being. He's around your age? Maybe over 10,000? He looks like he is in his 20s." I said.

He looked away, and I saw his ears turn red.

"What's wrong? Did I say something that embarrassed you.....?" I said as I walked up to him and embraced him from behind.

"Please don't talk about my age...." He said in a soft, low tone.

"Aww. Don't say that...I love you no matter how old you are. You are still my precious Kaname."

He chuckled and put his hands on mine that were around his waist. "At least I don't look like I'm 10,000. That would be a problem for you, wouldn't it be?"

"Kind of... I wouldn't want an old man kissing me, now don't we. But hey, deep down inside you would be Kaname either way..." I said, embracing him a little tighter.

"Lily, when you do those kind of things, I cannot hold myself back." He said, turning around and facing me, slowly bringing me against a wall, his body close to mine.

I smiled and looked deep into his beautiful crimson eyes.

"Lily, Lily. You've been a naughty girl, making me like this. How are you going to make it up to me?" He said with a smirk.

"With a kiss, of course." I said, bringing my toes up giving him a sweet kiss on the lips.

As I kissed him, I felt his lips perk up into a smile and I felt his body get closer to mine as if we were one person.

After about two minutes of kissing, our lips parted.

"My, my, Lily. You've gotten bolder. It seems that I have taught you well."

"Yes, you have. Now, we should get going. Being cooped up in this place is going to get boring. Let's go find Yoshio and see what he wants!" I said cheerfully, escaping from him.

"All right. But don't say that that I didn't warn you." He said.

"Fiiine." I said with a pout.

With that said, the both of us got our coats on and made our way outside.

The bell rung once again and as we followed its noise, it was leading us more and more into the woods.

"Aw man... why is he leading us here?" I said.

"Maybe because he has a good prank up his sleeve?" Kaname stated.

"Correct as usual, as expected from the Kuran family's ancestor!" A playful voice echoed throughout the woods.

In front of us appeared a tall, lean man close to Kaname's height with long blue hair that went up to his shoulders, brown eyes, and a playful somewhat childish smirk on his face. His appearance made him look like he's in his early 20s.

"If it isn't Princess Kira and her knight in shining armor! It has been far too long since I've seen you and the others! Plus, it's been sooo boring up there, I haven't been about to prank anyone in ages!"

"It has been ages, Yoshio... I see you haven't changed, not one bit. So, what's your plan?" I said.

"I called you both here for two reasons. One. I heard Kira was reincarnated and Kaname has awakened from his sleep, so I wanted to see you guys and two, to do this!" He said, crossing his arms in the form of an X.

His hands glowed and shortly after that, everything went white before us.

"Switch!" I heard his voice echo around us.

What is he doing?!

Eventually, the light dimmed down and I saw my surroundings once more.

What did he do...? Everything seems normal..

*play the song*

Yoshio started laughing hysterically.

"Hey, what's so-" I instantly covered my mouth. Why am I speaking in a higher-pitched tone of Kaname's voice?

No..no he didn't... I slowly looked over next to me and I saw myself.

"Kyaaaa! Why am I in Kaname's body?!" I said.

"Yoshio. Switch us back now, or else." Kaname said, in my voice but in a deeper tone.

Oh my God, Kaname's in my body...

"Or else what? You can't use your vampire powers,  cuz' you aren't one at the moment!" Yoshio said, still laughing.

"Please switch us back. This isn't funny!" I said.

"Sorry guys, I can't do that. It will wear out in about 1 day, I presume?"

I saw that Kaname had taken Golden Artemis from its place on my leg, and turned it into its scythe form pointing it over at him.

"Find a way, now." Kaname said in a threatening tone.

"Sorry, Lily-chan~ No can do. There is no way until it wears off! It was nice seeing you again! Byeeee!" With a puff of smoke, he disappeared.

"No, no! I can't be like this!" I said.

"It's your fault, Lily. I warned you, but no. You wanted to go and say hi. By the way, your body is heavy. Your chest makes it feel that way." Kaname said, putting Golden Artemis back into its case.

I blushed all the way up to my ears. "Hey! I didn't know he would go this far as to switching us! And don't say that so casually!"

"You're the one speaking a bit loud. Just calm down. It's a bit weird seeing myself act all childish."

I sighed. "And it's weird seeing myself stand up so straight and speak so formally."

"All right. First of all, we need to calm ourselves and not worry about anything. I already told Ichijo that I was going to take a few days off, so I don't go to Night Class. However, you may need to go back to Cross Academy to make sure the Night Class remains in order, and does not do anything to break the rules." Kaname stated.

"Ugh, great..." I said in a bothered tone.

"You'll do fine...I'll come with you. You know me very well. Just don't slouch, walk straight, and speak formally. It shouldn't be too complicated as you are a noble as well, correct?"

"Yeah I'm a noble, but I act like that during public events. Usually outside of all that I just slouch and eat like a pig when I'm extremely hungry, so feed me well." I said with a laugh.

I felt his stomach rumble. "Kaname, come to think of it we didn't have breakfast right?"

"No. But I am pretty hungry as well."

"Then let's get something to eat cuz' I'm starving..." I said.

"Hehe, alright."

As the both of us were making our way to town, I decided to have fun with Kaname's powers. However, they kind of destroyed everything in our path like I made big holes in some trees, accidentally put things on fire, and such.

"Lily, I don't think you should abuse those powers... A pureblood's power can be very hard to control, especially when one is emotional."

"What do you mean, emotional?" I said questionably.

"Last night when we had that talk,  I was in tears remember? Well, because of that I made your windows crack a little."

"So that was the little crack noise I heard..."

"Yeah, I apologize for that. I'll pay for the repairs, it's not so much of a problem since it is a small crack. Speaking of that as well, while you are in my body you need to control your emotions."

"All right, I will..." I said with a pout.

"Come to think of it, within your body I feel two very small presences. Is that..."

I smiled. "Yes. Those are our children that are growing in there."

"How incredible... It feels strange." He said with a kind smile.

"Haha... It's because men obviously don't ever give birth to children." I said with a laugh.

"Yes. At least something good is coming out of this." Kaname said.

"What gender do you think they'll be?"

"Maybe two boys?" Kaname said.

"I think two girls, but I guess we'll find out in two years, that is if I survive." I said sadly.

"Don't worry, you will survive. You are a strong woman, Lily. I'm positive that you can overcome anything."

*short timeskip*

After breakfast, Kaname said that he was not really feeling well so we went back to the inn. I did notice because I saw that my cheeks were getting pale.

He quickly went into bed, and covered my entire body under the covers.

"I've never felt pain in all of my life... This is not what I have expected, Lily."

"I'm sorry that you have to go through this. It's my fault that this happened to the both of us." I said, in a worried tone.

He then came out from the covers. "Please do not worry about it... At least I am learning the true meaning of pain. It's something that I've always wanted to feel. Being a Pureblood vampire, you don't feel pain as your wounds immediately heal. But a human, damn... I did not know they experience this much pain."

"Yeah. It's horrible. But your body is so light! I feel like I can do anything!" I said twirling around happily.

"Just seeing myself doing those things gives me a bit of a scare." He said in a soft laugh.

I then got a cold towel and put it on my forehead. "It's a temporary pain. It will go away eventually, so hang in there." I said, comforting him.

It's really weird just looking at myself in pain.

"What day is it today, Lily?" Kaname asked me.

"February 2nd. Why do you ask?" I said.

"Because you told me that as the months pass, your pain gets worse."

"Oh yeah. You're right about that...  I almost forgot about it." I said, looking away.

I totally forgot, I'm just so used to my life I forgot that I was cursed for a second.

"Don't force yourself Lily. Your body still isn't fully recovered, from what I can tell." Kaname said in a very quiet tone.

"Don't worry. Shizuka will be the last person I will kill." I said.

"She better be. Stop risking yourself to make your condition worse because every person you kill is more pain for you. So please just rest when we get back to our bodies, at least for me."

"Ok, I will..." I said with a pout.

He's always worrying for me. I should at least listen to him so I don't worry him.

"And by the way, here. Take this medicine. It's disgusting, but it always relieves the pain after some rest." I said as I poured the red-colored medicine into the small cup.

Kaname looked at it in disgust. "I do not wish to take that. That looks putrid."

"Kaname, don't be a big baby. Just think of it as blood..."

"While I am in this body, blood is disgusting."

I sighed. "Then think of it as fruit punch! That's one of my favorite drinks!"

"If that is what you wish..."

Kaname slowly took the liquid and drank the whole thing in one sip.

"Ugh, disgusting. It tastes like extremely sour cherries."

"Now rest. You'll be as good as new after." I said.

"Fine." Kaname said, laying back down in bed.

"I'll go get you a fresh cold towel to put on your forehead." I said as I took it and made my way to the sink in the bathroom.

I looked at the mirror, seeing Kaname's handsome face. Wow... he really is good looking. His hair is soft, his eyes look like perfectly shaped almonds, and.. oh what am I doing? Ugh, everything needs to get back to normal, I just want to embrace him, kiss him, touch him, do everything as Lily.

I rinsed the towel and quickly went back to put the towel on my forehead. I saw that Kaname was already fast asleep. This is what he goes through with me, huh. Since I can just be that reckless when it comes to my health.

I put the cold towel on my forehead, and sat at a chair next to the bed.

I sighed. "I miss my body... Sure I'm all healthy in Kaname's body, but I miss sleeping by his side. Damn you, Yoshio..."

"Now, now. Is that a way to talk your elders, Princess Kira?"

Yoshio appeared out of nowhere, behind me.

"That doesn't matter, just please switch us back already I can't take being in my boyfriend's body any longer..." I pleaded.

"Oh, I see. You just wanna have a make-out session with him, huh. You don't change at all, Princess Kira." He said in his usual childish tone.

"Hey. For your information, my name is Lily now. Not Kira."

"Sorry about that, Lily. But, there's something I wanna see before switching you two back, and that is confronting the students at Cross Academy."

"So you do know how to switch back, you liar!"

"Hey. That's why they call me the Master Prankster after all."

"Hmph. Meanie." I said.

"And by the way it doesn't wear off, only I can switch you two back so... Yeah, do what I told ya and we are good." He said as he disappeared once again.

"Ugh, he pisses me off sooo much!"

"Who pisses you off so much?" Kaname said in a quiet voice, looking over to me. He didn't sleep at all...

"That Yoshio bastard! He said that he can switch us back! He lied!"

Kaname sighed. "He pranks for a living. What can you do?"

"Anyways, how are you feeling?"

"Much better. As distasteful as that medicine tasted, it actually worked to my surprise."

"That's good to hear. But right now, we have some pressing matters. We have to get back to Cross Academy and face the others. Yoshio wants us to do that so that we can switch back, and believe me, I really want my body back. I want to be in your arms again as myself. It's lonely being in here..."

Kaname sat up from bed. "I understand you perfectly. I as well want my body back. I want to hold you within my arms as myself so badly..." He said in a very desirable tone.

"Then let's go to Cross Academy right now!" I said impatiently.

"All right, just give me a second to put your high heeled boots back on." Kaname stated with a laugh.

"Okay." I said with a small smile.

"You really want me, do you...?" Kaname said in a seductive tone.

Hearing myself say that... is weird. Usually I'm the one who blushes, but... Ugh, I hate this!

"I really want to touch your lips... Not this way, but with you in here instead of me..." I said.

"Be patient, my love.  Patience is the key." Kaname said with a smile.

"I know..." I said.

"Now, let's go to Cross Academy. And remember, straight posture and formal talk." Kaname said with a smile.

"Yeah, and you remember to slouch a bit and speak a bit informal." I said, reminding Kaname.

"Do not worry. I will."

"Now, let's go!" I said pulling myself out of the room.

*Yuuki's PoV*

I could not sleep. Not one bit. Not with this thirst for blood. I've taken Ichijo's blood many times, but it isn't working... Nothing can compare Kaname or Zero's blood.

"I hate her...I hate her. I hate her so much that words can't explain." I said.

"So you do hate her, do you Yuuki? Then you would be a great help to me to help end her life." I saw Maria, who came in from the window.

"What do you have against Lily?" I said.

"Well you see... She is targeting me because I am on the hunter's list. Well, not this body." She said.

"What are you talking about?" I said.

"I am Shizuka Hio. And I need your help, Yuuki Kuran."

"Killing Lily? I-I don't know. I've never taken someone's life before." I said a bit nervously.

I then felt her two arms around my waist.

"She took everything from you, Yuuki. She took your precious fiancé away from you. And because of her, Zero no longer likes you either. It's up to you dear. Unless you want to stay in this room, and rot away." She said, whispering into my ear.

I clenched my fists, and the words that Kaname told me came back to me.

"You have grown to be someone with a hideous heart."

I'm sorry, Kaname. But for you and Zero, I will do anything. I love you too much that I cannot stop doing things like this. So please don't hate me...

"I accept your offer, Shizuka." I said confidently.

Kaname, even if you don't keep the promise that you and I had, just know that I will be the one to keep it.

"Now then, let's begin planning, shall we...?" She said, motioning me to go with her.

I nodded my head and followed her to the old Night Class dorms.

*Third person PoV, unknown forest*

Ayakashis scattered throughout this area. There were no leaves on the trees, everything around the place had no life.

A human-like figure stood at the end of the forest. He had pale skin, very dark black hair and dark brown eyes.

"Lord Yami. We have found a vessel for you to use." One of the Ayakashi underlings stated.

"Oh...really? Who?" He said curiously, turning around.

"A young girl from the Adachi family. A very powerful girl with a weak body. She is cursed, meaning it will be easy for you to take over her body and get your revenge on the Kuran family." One of the other Ayakashis said.

"Yes...finally. I can get my revenge on the Kurans.. from taking my sister away from me!" He said in a satisfied tone.

"As long as you are in her body, she won't be able to die. Meaning the world will be destroyed. You just cannot Kaname Kuran kill you." One of the others said.

"What does that wretched vampire have to do with the girl?" Yami said in an annoyed tone.

"He is her eternal soulmate. As what is stated in the Adachi family's curse. The Ayakashi stated.

"Haha... Then I will take his one and only weakness away from him and kill him." He said with an evil smile.

"Our dream of building an Ayakashi world here will soon come true. We allow this world to be destroyed, and you can become our overlord to avenge your sister."

"Yes, you are correct. I will avenge my sister and get my revenge... I will go and get her eventually. The Kurans will regret killing my sister." Yami said, laughing evilly.
