"Ok class, today, we are going to have a pop quiz." The teacher announced.

Everyone groaned.

"Don't worry! It'll be easy." Everyone let out a sigh of relief.

And then, the test began.

Shortly after the test, everyone was murmuring to each other.

I heard a pair of students nearby say,"what was your answer for question number 2?"

"My answer was 4."

I snorted quietly to myself, mentally facepalming.

Goodness, were the people in my class really that dumb? The answer was 2! For crying out loud!

The lessons zipped past as quickly as you could say,"crunchy munchy scrunchy carrots!" And soon, everyone made a beeline for the classroom doors.

Everyone would go back home, kick back and relax, and forget all about homework for the weekends.

But, being me, instead of heading home, the moment I got out of that stuffy classroom full of people who speak the language I named'nonsense', I made a beeline for the library, to complete today and next week's homework.

"Done!" I thought to myself as I slammed my notebook shut.

Finally free to go home! I hopped onto the nearest bus to home and got off at my stop. As soon as I arrived at the front door, I dug into my bag for the house keys.

Unlocking the door, I dodged the paint ball trap my brother, the one and only egghead, had set for me the moment he had gotten home.

I heard someone mutter, "darn, foiled again." That announced egghead's presence.

"Hello, brother dear." I smirked. He scowled.

And with that, I marched past him and into the living room.

Okay, I will try and update as often as possible, but I can't assure you that I will publish a chapter everyday, so, yeah. Hope you enjoyed the chapter and btw, do you think it is long enough?
