Piper was pissed. She was super pissed. Pissed about the two idiots fighting beside her.

She had had enough. "I'm going to go ahead, okay?"

Percy and Thalia didn't even nod since they were fighting so much.

Piper speed walked toward the infirmary, which was a pretty short way from where she was.

She couldn't believe how much the two idiots were fighting over his dad was better. They're only dads, for goodness sake.

Thank gods Nico wasn't here to join in, because that would've been a disaster.

Where was Nico anyway? What would be more important than the quest at Hogwarts?

As she dwelled on this, Piper stubbed her toe on something fleshy.

"What the heck?" Piper whispered. She took out her sword for some light so she could see what she had stubbed her toe on.

Then she screamed, since it was the body of Hermione Granger.
