Hermione Granger

Draco was in Azkaban. Hermione didn't want to show it, but she was super excited about that. That boy was a spoiled kiss up who did nothing but be mean to everyone. ((I ship dramione))

Anyways, the real shocking thing that happened was a fortnight after the murder, and a few days before Halloween. Ron and Leo were having an arm wrestling contest (Ron won), Harry and Percy were taking about how mean teachers can be, and Hazel and Ginny were talking about old boyfriends.

Hermione thought it was going to be a normal night, but of course, you can never get your hopes up.

"As you know," Professor McGonnagal said. "eight exchange students from America have joined us this year. I hope everyone has been treating them nicely, since they've also been through many hardships."

"No shit." Leo whispered to Piper.

"I would like to announce that another exchange student will be joining us today." She clapped her hands, and the Great Hall doors opened, revealing a girl with blonde princess curls and grey eyes.

Leo and Jason smirked, Piper and Hazel's eyes widened, Frank's mouth formed a small o, Percy and Thalia grinned, and Nico continued being gloomy.

"That's Annabeth." Hazel whispered to Ginny and Hermione. "Percy's girlfriend."

"She'll be in Gryffindor, won't she?" Ginny asked.
 
"Most likely," said Hazel. "But Ravenclaw would suit her very well."

Annabeth turned her head to catch a glance of the group of exchange students, and that's when Hermione noticed the nasty scar running from the bottom of her right eye to her chin.

Percy's smiled faltered. Instead of looking worried, he looked at Annabeth with pity.

She marched up toward McGonnagal, and slammed the sorting hat on her head. The Great Hall was silent for a whole five minutes, and that's when Hermione silently decided Annabeth was a hat stall.

The Sorting Hat opened his dusty mouth, but Annabeth shook her head. The sorting breathed (could he even breathe?) and shouted, "GRY-- wait, no.. SLYTHERIN!!"

The Slytherin table burst into cheers, and Annabeth breathlessly walked toward it. She sent Percy (who was looking quite betrayed and hurt) a look that said I'll explain everything later.

At this rate, Hermione wouldn't be surprised that McGonnagal announced another exchange student.
