HERMIONE XX

Hermione Granger

"Hi." Percy said. "My name is Percy Jackson. You know all those gods you hear about in stories? Zeus, Hera, Pluto? They're all real, and my friends and I are their children."

Gasps and murmurs ran through the crowd. A few shouted out that they were liars, and cheats. But Hermione's eyes were fixed on Harry and Ron, who were talking to Ginny about what was going on. Ginny was frantically explaining everything that was going on, but Hermione could tell that they didn't 100% believe it.

"I'm a son of Poisedon." Percy continued. "I can talk to horses and sea animals, and control water, earthquakes, tsunamis and hurricanes." To prove his point, Percy raised his hands and immediately all the liquid in people's goblets rose up into the air.

The crowd shut up and let the others present themselves. One by one, they each told who they were, what they could do, and who their parent was. Hermione wasn't listening; she was thinking about how she was going to present herself.

Finally, it was her turn. She slowly and quietly walked up to the podium, ignoring the stares she was getting from her colleagues and peers.

"I think all of you already know who I am." Hermione said. "But if you live under a rock, My name is Hermione Granger and I have been told many times that I am the brightest witch of of my age. I thought I was a muggle-born wizard, but as it turns out I'm a half-blood."

Leo snickered behind her. She was happy that at least one person undeerstood the joke she had said.

"For those of you who didn't believe them, I think you'll trust me a little more. I'm the child of the minor goddess of magic and crossroads: Hecate." She sighed, and she could feel sweat dripping down her forehead from nervousness.

"I.." She continued. "Don't really know what I can do, but I'll learn."

She looked back at her new friends, then went back to the crowd in front of her.

"Or I'll figure it out."

The lights were still out and the borders were still closed but classes had been atarted again anyways.

Hermione and Ginny visited Luna in the infirmary whenever they had the chance, and tried to get anything they could know about the supposed murderer.

All Luna could see when it happened were grey eyes.

Luckily, there hadn't been anymore murders yet but students of any year and age were still scared about dying.

And unfortuneatly for us, students were not allowed to walk to classes without a teacher or a prefect. Hermione felt like she was in her second year again.

Harry and Ron were still a little doubtful about the exchange students. Especially Annabeth with her scar.

Hermione was also a little scared of her, but they had become friends. Plus Percy loved her a lot. And Hermione trusted Percy.

She was happy to be free from death for a while.

Unfortunatly for her, the real murderer of Lavender Brown was still lurking around.

And it sure wasn't Calypso.

DONE!
