Hermione Granger

Hermione felt very scared when everything went dark. It was ten thirty am, not midnight.

But then why was the sky dark? Why did all the lights go out? Was it Chaos?

And why did that girl kill Seamus?

Calypso looked like a good person and friend until Hermione, Harry, Ginny and Ron came across her.

She had a large, bloody gash on her forehead (it was bleeding alot), and was dragging poor Seamus across the floor.

Harry and Ron immediatly ran away to tell the others, and that left Hermione and Ginny to interoggate her.

"I didn't do it!" She said, her eyes glassy from blood loss. "I don't know why I'm here."

Her vampire costume was in tatters, and her fake teeth were missing.

And that's when the lights went out, and Calypso ran away just before everyone else came.

Proffesor McGonnagal had called an emergency meeting in the Great Hall, and inside there were hundreds of flickering candles floating above people's heads.

"There is a reason to why it is suddenly nightime, but the problem is that no one knows." She announced. "The borders of Hogwarts have imprisoned us inside the castle. And there has been a murder."

Everyone gasped, and McGonnagal continued.

"Seamus Finnigan was killed today by someone who has sadly, escaped."

Dean burst out crying, and raised his wand. Everyone soon followed suit.

"Unfortuneatly, another person has been killed and another one seriously injured. Raise your wands for Lavender Brown, and let us Luna Lovegood will come out of the infirmary alive."

Another period of silence where everyone raised their wands.

"Classes have been canceled, and no one is allowed out of the Great Hall."

She waved her wand, and a thousand purple sleeping bags appeared. Like the ones we sleeped in during third year. Hermione thought.

"Please keep a lookout, and be careful. The murderers may still be among us." The professor finished.

Percy sighed next to Hermione. He looked back at his friends, and they nodded.

"Uh," He shouted. "Professor McGonnagal? It's time."

Ginny and Hermione exchanged looks. It wasn't even November yet, and they were going to announce who they really were?

Up on the pedestal, McGonnagal smiled lightly. "The exchange students have something to say." She said. "Give them your full attention."

And they went up to her, Hermione following reluctantly.

Outside the castle, the dark figure was waiting. Waiting to see when the plan would commence and waiting to see wether his other, more trustworthy spy would go on with it.

Oh look another spy!

Okay so I'm really sorry for not updating and there might be another update today.

If there are mistakes on this chapter its mostly because I'm writing this quickly on my phone  (>_<)
