Actual rules:

1. NO OVERPOWERING! Demigods are not gods or one man armies. If you're new, you will not be able to use your powers perfectly. If you've never wielded a sword before, you will not automatically be able to use it perfectly (Percy was terrible with a sword at first unless he was in contact with water). No immortality either if you're a demigod. You're born, you live, you die.

2. No god-modding. This rule has an exception for gods but even they are not allowed to do it much. Basically, you're not able to kill anyone and everyone you want. Which brings us onto our next rule.

3. No killing without permission. Nope nope nope. You want to kill someone? Ask them first. If they say no, don't complain.

4. You control the action, not the consequence. This is extremely annoying when role-playing.
Wrong: Maria punched Castor across the jaw, making his jaw snap in two.
Right: Maria attempted to punch Castor, aiming for his jaw.

5. No invincibility. Even gods get hurt. They can't die but they can get hurt extremely badly. And no one can constantly dodge attacks. They'll get slower, more exhausted and clumsier. Neither can someone constantly take attacks. Eventually they'll die.

6. No being blessed by the gods. Let's be honest. How likely is that you will be blessed by the gods? You have to preform a heroic deed or something. And even then the gods might not take notice. So your chances are pretty slim.

7. No smut. Please take it to PM. I'd like to keep my innocence, thank you.

8. Only mild or demigod cursing. No, you're not allowed to say f*** every other sentence. Demigod cursing is like "What in the name of Tartarus?" or swearing in Greek.

9. Have fun! And bring blue cookies!

10. No Mary Sues or Gary Stu's. I know we all want to be perfect and sometimes we project that onto our characters. Enter Mary Sue/ Gary Stu. Realistically though, even the most amazing people have their flaws. But if you do it right, the flaws can make the person more beloved, more amazing and overall less annoying. Face it, no one wants to roleplay with someone who is perfect.
