"Arlo, over here!"
Jawa called as James plopped himself down on the couch of their dorm.
"So," Jawa started as Arlo slowly dragged himself into the room, "How are you feeling today?"
"Jawa, you are no therapist, get to the point" Arlo deadpanned, "Besides, it's pretty obvious that you didn't even want to ask that question in the first place"
"Okay, okay," Jawa rolled his eyes, "I was trying to make things a little more friendly, sorry for that, since you clearly don't appreciate kindness"
Arlo scoffed, "Like you know any better"
"How's Linus and Shiranui?"
Silence filled the room. But not the room next to them.
"Stop it, Linus!" They heard Shiranui yell, "I'm independent!"
"An independent woman?"
"Yes- Wait, no-"
Linus wheezed, much like a tea kettle before there was a loud crash.
"Shut up!"
"They're doing great, thank you very much," Arlo replied sarcastically, "They're trying to make swedish pancakes, and it's not going very well"
James shot a look at Jawa, who then nodded.
"Okay, so remember when I said that you shouldn't look at the machine because you with your digital powers would mess it up?" Jawa gestured slowly.
"Well... About that, powers don't mess it up, so we now owe you an apology," James finished, "So we're going to answer whatever questions you have about it"
Arlo thought it over for a few seconds, "You said that they were at Camp Cypress, right?"
"That is true"
"But it shut down about a month ago" Arlo said slowly, "How could they be there?"
"Our theory is that either that they are in the past-" James started
"-Or that they are in an alternative universe, that branched off when the camp closed" Jawa finished.
"Most probably the past," James cuts Jawa off with a glare, "Since the dates don't add up"
"I was going to say that," Jawa whined, but quickly dropped his childish act, "Okay so, back to the point," Jawa clapped his hands together, "We have about five important people; Annie, Star, Jedi, Erica, and Finn"
"Annie?" Arlo paused, "Does she have glasses?"
"Yes," James replied, then stopped, "How do you know?"
"I might have met someone named Annie at the tournament," He explained, "She was a student of Vanguard, has glasses, was there to experience the tournament and get used to it, since she had just changed schools"
"Did she mention anyone else?" Jawa leaned in, staring intently at Arlo.
Arlo leans back, slightly averting his gaze, "I mean, no? It was just small talk since we were seated next to each other"
Jawa nodded to James, who hurried off to get something.
"Did she say anything out of ordinary?"

Wen was bored of being in the forest.
Sure he got to watch the Spade Castle, and see the people move on with their days, but he wanted something exciting, something new.
Or that's what he thought he was missing.
Because as soon as he was confronted with a beginning to a possibility of an adventure, he backed away.
Not because he was scared of what happened to his family, pfft- No way. He didn't even bat an eye at his father's execution.
Maybe he was a little heartless.
Wen stretched and clicked his tongue slowly as the leaves rustled.
He had stayed here for more than a year, he had set up his own little survival base, and everything had gone quite smoothly for the many weeks.
People came to visit the Enchanted Forest every once in a while, just to see if the myths were true.
And they absolutely were, Wen was a living proof of that.
The original myth was that whoever had their regrets could wash them away in the fountain of spirits, and that if you managed to live near the fountain for long enough, you would gain extra skills.
That's exactly what Wen had been doing for the past year or two.
He was lonely, sure, but as long as he stayed in the forest for long enough without being killed, he gained more skills, ranging from archery to enhancing his stamina.
People occasionally came by, they brought him gifts and totems. He didn't really understand why at first, but he eventually came to the conclusion that they thought he was the guardian of the fountain, and they needed an offering to go onwards.
Some people are quite dim.
But he wasn't complaining about all the cool things they brought him on a monthly basis.
He stood up, and made his way toward the river that separated the Spade Kingdom to the Enchanted Forest.
The blaring of horns started as he watched, partially hidden in the bushes.
That prince ran off again? He thought, annoyed, If only anyone bothered enough to realize that I've been missing for two years... Two years, time flies I guess.
What he saw next made him think twice, and look twice.
The prince was hiding there, behind a small cottage house, with a clone of him, and also a semi-transparent ghost.
He waved it off, it was probably some spell that went wrong, and the prince had too much pride to go ask his father, so he went and someone summoned a ghost.
He would have just walked away, if he hadn't recognized the ghost in particular.
Wen had seen the girl two years ago.
She had been praised, alongside her friends, for something that they were meant to do.
Something they failed.
The girl turned around and spotted him standing in the trees, with cautiousness, she pointed towards him, and said something to the prince, and his clone.
But when they turned to look, he had already disappeared back into the forest.
