I was walking with my cabin mates, Joshiah Harison, and Cole Anderson, to the mess hall when the boy from last night appeared around the corner, walking with three others.

They were still talking as we stepped inside. They sat down at one of the tables near to the back.

"Mate, why're you looking over there? You fancy one of them?", Josh slung his arm over my shoulders with a bright smile, "Might as well go say hello while you're at it, mate"

And then he proceeded to drag us over to their table, dragging Cole with us.

"Oi- Joshiah! No!" Cole groaned, "Those lads look busy, just let 'em be"

"Nonesense! No one could turn down a couple of new friends, ain't it right, mate?" He asked turning to me.

"Uhhh, yeah! Definitely!"

Cole and I shared a look as he turned away.

"G'day!" Josh grinned as we arrived at their table, "Name's Joshiah, and these are my friends"

The boy from last night looked completely uninterested until he recognized me, even then he tried to look neutral.

"My name's Cole" Cole gestured with his hand, "And that's George"

The girl with glasses nodded, "You guys from around Oak Bridge?"

"Right on the spot!" Josh beamed, "We're in the Robin Wood cabin"

The girl sitting beside her smiled back, perhaps looking a little forced to, "My name's Erica, and my friends are from Red Maple. That's Annie" She gestured to the one with glasses, "That's Star" The girl on the end waved slowly, "And this is Jedi" She said pointing at the boy.

"Nice to meet you, Jedi" I said slowly, "Are you done wit-"

Jedi stood up abruptly, "I just remembered something that I have to do, I'll be back in a couple minutes"

He hurried out of the mess hall.

"Hey, uh Josh, I'm going to check on him, I'll be with you lot in a bit"

I made my way out of the building, with Cole calling my name.

"Over here," The boy- or maybe I should call him by his name, Jedi, called me over to the side.

"Look, remember where I met you last night?" He asked hurriedly, "I need you to go there, there will be a book, a journal, and mind you please don't look, and take it back with you. Don't tell anyone, don't show anyone, especially not with my friends," He tilted his head towards the mess hall, "Now, are you good with that?"

I nodded, still processing what he was telling me.

"Alright, now give me your hand," He held out his hand, I placed mine over his.

He chanted something slowly, before letting go. "Alright, remember your promise, and you'll be fine"

"Wha-"

"I'd better get back, see you around"

Look, I never signed up to be with two random strangers while Jedi and this other guy ran out on us, obviously they knew each other.

This Joshiah dude was nice, I'll admit, also he has this probably Aussie accent that was nice I guess, I dunno.

Finally that guy is gone.

Jedi? Do you mean Jedi?

No, the other guy, George. That idiot.

Link laughed, Of course I would, how can I not? He has immeasurable power, but refuses to acknowledge it... At least for now.

Joshiah was talking to Annie and Star about the choice classes, as Cole was just standing there, looking puzzled. 

More specifically, looking at me.
