A bond so strong, now broken and worn
A friendship so deep, now lost and forlorn
We shared our laughter, our tears, our dreams
But now, only memories remain, it seems

We were two hearts that beat as one
But now, I'm left with just this emptiness undone
I miss your smile, your laugh, your eyes
Our late-night talks, our silly goodbyes

Time went by, and life took its toll
Drifting apart, our bond grew old
We lost our way, our connection faded
Leaving me with a sorrow, unrelayed

I wish I could turn back time, to when
Our friendship was pure, our hearts still kin
But life doesn't wait, and fate doesn't bend
And now, I'm left to mend
